  • Great video even greater song...I'll have to add to my next love making compilation;-) Thx for sharing!

  • Absolutley brilliant video, and great choice in music, one of my all time favourite artists. Enigma should be used more on these vids, so sensual

  • @uliemouse Thanks so much uliemouse.....Enigma is also a favorite of mine.

I'm glad you enjoyed this video! :)

  • @starrynight003 With being a fan of Enigma, are you aware of a group called Amethystium, check them out, they are equally as good. Keep the greats vids coming. Regards

  • Please someone can tell me the name of the song ??? its wonderfull!!

  • @SABANAH68..... The music is by Enigma, a song called *Light and Weight*.

  • Hi MHA! Thank you for the sweet comment....I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. :)

  • I really like the music, and it paces nicely with the action. Great time-lapse images ;}

  • Saphistische, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I really like the music too....Ha, time lapse, such a great invention! ;^]

  • Hmmm, probably sight/vision is most profound for me.....followed closely by touch and sound.....followed closely by taste and smell....

I suspect this is a fairly common sequencing...??

  • I guess this was a trick question....I was checking to see how many senses you admitted to having. For some reason today, I was getting the feeling that you had developed a 6th sense...

  • Hahaha iris, perhaps it is you who has developed a 6th sense? :)

  • Perhaps I had no choice but to develop a 6th sense after you created this virtual "slip and slide" for summer-time fun in the water.

  • So, which of the 5 senses do you find to be the most profound for you?

  • It seems that this video has created a rather unique water cycle today. I have enjoyed watching it so many times already in such a short period of time that I think that I may have become intoxicated on the water. I may have become hyper-hydrated. Luckily, this same video has caused me to sweat a lot & lose water through heightened respiration & perspiration. So, I reached a perfect balance & I'm currently maintaining a perfect equilibrium - thanks to the yin & the yang of your water video.

  • Hahaha, lovely comment...... I'm really pleased that you're enjoying this vid! ;^]

  • thanks. well, I'm pleased that you're pleased that I'm pleased that you're pleased that I'm pleased.....I think that completes the circle, if that gives you any sense of pleasure.

After watching your video again, I wonder if you find that you respond more visually or in an auditory fashion?

  • Hahaha, now that we've cleared that up. :)

Hmmm, I tend to be very visual, though I do find that the auditory can surely enhance the visual experience. The video clips are lovely in and of themselves, though with the addition of music they become more lovely yet.

On the other hand, I can be very auditory as well when no visual images are available.

  • Here's a quote from Bruce Lee about water: "Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend."

I'm thinking about how water was considered one of the 4 classical elements along with fire, earth & air. U made a video about fire, another about soaring thru the air, this is about water...

  • So the next video should involve earth......on some level I think the amazing Deepa Mehta may be involved here. :)

  • ....that sounds good. (I was actually going to say that you seem pretty 'down-to-earth' so I guess that completes the cycle....but I would enjoy watching a video of yours that "revolved" around the theme of earth.

  • A very gracious thank you iris.......I'll see what I can do about a video which "revolves" around the theme of earth. :)

  • Thanks for the quote Iris... such a visual for that which is not easily defined "a friend indeed..." C

  • Is this Bruce Lee the fighter..?

  • I'm assuming that this quote is from Bruce Lee the fighter since it was from a common source on the internet....

(funny, now that you mention it, it never occurred to me that this quote could be from Mr. Lee who runs the dry-cleaning store in our neighborhood....;)

  • Well maybe we should all head down to our neighborhood dry-cleaners or at least make a special effort to stop as we drive by ... that was really moving and I have placed it in my profile... thank you for sharing ;-)

  • Yes, I think that going to the neighborhood dry-cleaners is in store for me ( and my clothes) since I've been experiencing the effects of this water video for a large portion of the day.....

sorry to sound so "wet behind the ears"....

  • Starrynight - You have created another lovely video which is dripping with beauty and sensuality. Thank you for continuing to share your talents and vision in this art form. This intriguing video about water is better than chocolate, it's better than ice cream, it's better than anything else that I've found. Perhaps some clever, inspired songwriter should write some ditty to that effect.

  • iristoiris, as always I thank you very much for your wonderful comment. I am so pleased that you are enjoying this video. It is my pleasure to know that you take pleasure in these creations.

    Thank you....and yes, I suppose some inventive songwriter may do just that. ;-}

  • On another note, the mouth-watering music which bathes this video creates the perfect ambience for allowing the viewer to soak in all the warmth of these thermal images. Enigma's "Light and Weight" was the perfect choice for this ambrosial treat of yours. Never has dripping water looked or sounded so sensual before. You are not an enigma Starrynight...it is obvious that you enjoy and appreciate this most common companion of nature - water.

  • iris yes, Enigma's *Light and Weight* wets the sensual appetite. The moment I put the video concept to this music it melded together and there was no going back. Amazing how something as simple as water can create such beautiful images. Thank you again for your lovely comments.....

  • As I experience your captivating video again, I find it interesting that u blended these tender images around the theme of water, remembering that it is the common chemical substance which is essential for the survival of all known forms of life. It makes sense that such a theme would feel so natural & so familiar & so satisfying when one recalls that the earth is about 3/4 water & our bodies are about 1/2 to 3/4 water. I'm off to watch your 'sea of tranquility' again...I may need a shower soon.

  • Smile, iris a shower would be very fitting....enjoy the water in the sensual *sea of tranquility*.....

  • You show water in its typical usage, in its liquid form. But I imagine that you might also appreciate this natural wonder in its solid state (as ice) and its gaseous state (as steam), particularly on a starry night. I find the slow-motion in your video of the water drop impacting the pool of water (previously countless water drops) causing an upward "rebound" jet, as well as, circular waves on the surface to be rather hypnotic. Do you prefer salt water or fresh water environment for your R & R?

  • Water, in all forms, is to be appreciated for a variety of reasons. I agree, the slow motion water drops and resultant waves of ripples are indeed hypnotic. I love their expanding circular symmetry. I adore both salt water and fresh water, each for a different reason.

  • so, it sounds like an ideal setting for you for an enjoyable R & R would be a B & B within walking distance to both a fresh water pond and the salt water ocean....taking advantage of H2O in both natural settings....perhaps listening to some mellow R & B.

  • Hahaha.....geez, you are very perceptive......yes, this setting would indeed be the best of both worlds. :)

  • Starrynight, with a name like yours, I'm reminding u that most of the universe's water may be produced as a byproduct of star formation. Intriguing concept to muse upon.....

I imagine u enjoying the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, particularly as the tide rushes in and recedes again over the sandy shore. It is interesting to remember that the tides are the cyclic rising & falling of the ocean surface caused by the tidal forces of the Moon & the Sun acting on the ocean.

  • Sweet......this starrynight thanks you for your intriguing and engaging words.... :)

  • Welcome!! with this beautiful video you always catch me....you always make me think...Fantastic music, I love the Enigma, in this context you have made her even more beautiful...Infinitely THANKS.... d.

  • dnadsy52, another gracious thank you! I'm so pleased that you are enjoying this video. Infinitely YOU'RE WELCOME! :)
