If you look at the details, you'll notice that it's not an exact replication of an AMC Pacer like in Wayne's World. But none of GTA's cars are exact copies of the real life equivalents they're supposed to represent. Otherwise they would have to procure the rights to the cars they used.

I'm a car guy so I notice this stuff. I don't know if anyone else does.

I love this car =) But GTA: TLaD 1up'd Driver Parallel Lines because Driver had the exact same car with the exact same name.. they just didn't have the Wayne's World reference in theirs. It's no surprise because Driver and GTA hate(d) each other.
