  • It really SADDENS me that instructors have NO other goal than "Learn all the notes" You could play twinkle and twinkle and if you played it with the right tone and emotion, you could captivate a room. Its not about what book your in or what song you can play. Its about you soul, and what is expressed through your instrument directly from your heart. Im not saying this was easy to learn, but im sad that its obvious the goal was set simply at getting through the piece.

  • It does lack emotion. When you are older, like 12, you tend to have alot of emotion. I played this when i was turning 12 and the emotion wasn't quite there yet when I was playing it. Part of what makes this peice so lovely is the wmotion. It sounds like it is bare

  • This was good for a 9-year-old, but I felt that the piece lacked emotion, and the shifts need a bit of work. But she did alright for her age!

  • try working on your intonation....you should try this song again when you're 12 or 13 or maybe even older....you need time to develop your skills and emotion

  • She sped up and she's in general not very good but for her age its very good! I'm 17 years old and i study this piece!!! And i'm not as good as this princess lol

  • moi, j'aime bien le drapeau français sur la scène!!

I like the french flag on the scene!!

  • lol you're better then I am! :)

    good job!

  • yes there were some mistakes, but honestly nobodys perfect. good job!

  • orangiee375, I understand where you are coming from, but overall went well. This is the suzuki version? If i'm correct, the transition to 12/8's and even to adagio went pretty well! She's good for her age

  • That was good for a nine year old, but not good in general. There's a reason people want to advance to full-size violins as quick as possible. There's also a reason teachers teach positions in the order 1-3-5-2-4. So the student can slowly build up their confidence in shifting. This girl missed many shifts and sped up a lot.

  • i don't think she was ready for shifting and she really sped up a lot... it could have been fear or she just wasn't ready yet.

  • i don't think she was ready.

she wasn't confident in her shifts at all.

  • It sounds like 9 years old performace, not above!!!!!!!

  • this is why i dont believe that young children should play above there skill lvl who is your teacher anyway?

  • YOUR AMAZING!!!!!!!!

crazy good. im 14 & i cant play as well as u

    wow !

  • wow ur really good!

  • great. keep up the good work! :)
