He took up the cross so that every human being who had lived and has yet to live would be able to get into heaven. He died in repentance for our sins. @terskip Reading the Bible, one can know that Jesus died on the cross for all men. Every one person in particular. When the world ends, the saved are resurrected, the lost are forsaken, God will get the glory no matter what. Those saved will proclaim His name. Those eternally lost after death will proclaim that He is the One, True God. Christ is not willing any man should perish, but that all shall come to repentance on His Glorious name.

@gregww101 who say's i need to be in a religion to listen to music. i don't have to be in any religion to enjoy the cultures that it brings, the stories that it tells, the art that is inspired by it. so that's my answer back to you. there is nothing wrong with religion other then the fact that it hindered the advancement of humanity. an example would be the roman catholic church. it stopped new idea's, slowed science, because it felt that its power over the people was threatened.

The Catholic church is a company that makes a LOT of money, which is why I don't like it. Many religions bring beautiful things to our world, and whenever you have a group like the Taliban, or the Catholic churche's inquisition, they are going against what the books they live by actually say. I respect your opinion, just say you think God doesn't exist.

ok. fucking listen. religion was invented because people were trying to find a reason everything existed. but becuase of a longing to be told what to do. a deity called "god" was made to make people think that they had a purpose. so in allot of ways it is a sciance, also, how could people be so arrogent to think that there religion is the right 1. as in there are hundreds of diffarent religons and each 1 of them thinks that evary single other religon is incorrect, get a fucking grip.

@terskip Actually he did, Jesus became human so that he could show the world the real meaning of God. He took up the cross so that every human being who had lived and has yet to live would be able to get into heaven. He died in repentance for our sins. So yes he did come to earth for each and every one of us so that we would be able to get into heaven even though were are unperfect sinful creatures

Because I have witnessed something that changed my life forever: receiveing the Holy Spirit. It is too real not to beleive. I made a "Fool" outta myself in front of my whole church. But because I was so consumed, I forgot anyone was actually there. Its an amazing feeling! And thats the only reason I need to know to beleive that God is real.

He could have called angels to take him off the cross but he didnt, so he died on the cross for our sins and if you really read the bible and understand it you would know all i just said was from the bible.

For the record, "crusified" is not in the Bible.. or any other book in printed status. Once the reading and the comprehension is down, work on spelling.
Lastly, YOU are not the reason for the cross. YOU are not the reason for it all. That is not found in the Bible. The real reason is spelled out clearly, and it is NOT you.

@terskip Reading the Bible, one can know that Jesus died on the cross for all men. Every one person in particular. When the world ends, the saved are resurrected, the lost are forsaken, God will get the glory no matter what. Those saved will proclaim His name. Those eternally lost after death will proclaim that He is the One, True God. Christ is not willing any man should perish, but that all shall come to repentance on His Glorious name.

I'd like to remind my brothers and sisters in Christ that the people who post who are not (currently) saved are still God's beloved children and it is His heart's desire that "Not one soul shall perish". Having said that, His second greatest command is that we LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES..and that does not mean just our saved neighbors, it means ALL of them.
