Trouble is Carmel judging by this video the water along the coast didn't retreat that much - u would thing these are normal waves if u were on a beach until the moment they came crashing on the beach & mysteriously didn't stop - some years back here in southern cali a large wave crashed into a beach & the water level caught all the beach goers by surprise & that was just an ordinary wave

I totally agree. This tsunami killed and made so many people suffer. I usually like joking around but I barely find anything funny here, maybe because I have been living in Japan. I am still in awe of the devestation to north Japan. It stands testament to the staying power of the Japanese to have come together to help one another in the aftermath. My best wishes for renewal and recovery still go on to those not yet ptsd free.
