I believe that, in later ads, Procter & Gamble no longer stressed the fact that dogs could also be cleaned with it [probably due to complaints from consumers]. Note that, at :45, an ANIMATED paw {with leg} shakes hands with "Mr. Clean" (ingenious, wasn't it?).
