  • I am a friend og this person he was very kind and let me use his channel as I do not have one and dont know if I want one some wierd flks on Youtube of course that is not you but I want to know if you can make this the best way with no alcohol I imagine you said in the video but this computer has no speakers tus no sound

  • Love ur videos

  • ive been looking up recipes for vegan egg nog. they thicken theirs by adding an avocado. apparently it's tastey if you're looking for a way to make your egg nog thicker without using as many eggs.

  • You guys are so affable! I love your videos!

  • I just found some of your videos and I love them! You guys are very entertaining and having the "furry kids' as an intermitance is a great idea.

Can't wait to see what recipies you post next.

    Thanks for posting.

  • @nherny great. glad you like the show and the pups.. eric.

  • @erochow - I agree :) We're making artisan bread in 5 and chipotle oil for xmas presents :) We're not cheap, we're creative! My pups Gumbo & Creole say Hi!

  • @wbj509 great! and hello to your pups as well. eric.

  • Thanks for doing this!!

    Fun to watch each time

  • Instead of all that milk add some real vanilla ice cream in place of it. So good.

  • @JuliaP777 good suggestion Julia, thanks for that. eric.

  • Or over 18 if you're in the U.K :)

  • you never mentioned what alcohol you used! i think i read a recipe on the back of a store-bought carton that included brandy? maybe i'm making that up.

  • @tylerlebens13 sorry, i used irish whiskey, but its really up to you. many people use rum.

  • Also, I LOVE that Santa hat (ally nice one). I remember it from last year! :)

  • @sooth15 the santa hat is a key part of eric's holiday wardrobe. thx!

  • Noooo! The dreaded fork-wisk made an appearance! Hahaha. j/k

Also, if you ever REALLY need powdered sugar, you can always put some granulated sugar in the processor and run it for a while.

  • @sooth15 good tip, thanks for that.

  • Whip those egg yokes stiff, that may create a thicker consistency!

    Please post more holiday videos!

  • @CharlieBeRiding thanks, we did a show on how to roast a turkey a few weeks back. eric.

  • I've been despising the Christmas spirit due to the retail monsters that I work for... But I have to say that I am feeling rather jolly :) Merry Christmas guys and thanks for the new video :)

  • @wbj509 thanks! xmas is not all about stuff, its about connecting with people. eric.

  • Great Informational Video, try some of that Desoento stuff that liquor that I can not spell correctly.. it has like an almond flavor..

  • ok the santa hat ball is making me seasick......

  • We used 1/2 reg milk, 1/2 evaporated milk, 1 egg, dash of vanilla, whip it up in the blender and top with nutmeg & cinnamon per serving ... No separating the egg ... I don't remember adding any sugar either

  • Run your sugar through the food processor....*poof*......powdered sugar! lol Also, smacking two eggs together yields the same results as the countertop but without any mess as only one shell ever breaks at a time, and you can put the other one back in the carton. :) Love your videos, man! Love it when the labs bring you the ball, drop it, and look at you like, "Hey stupid! There it is RIGHT THERE!" I got a black lab rescue because of y'all this year. The only one in MS that's scared of water!

  • @BoondockFarms neat egg idea, will try that.

the labs are great, Charlie Pup is a beast with the tennis ball.

Henry's brother, Buck, wont go in water either, happens.. eric.

  • I don't really care for the store bought eggnog!

I have no problem eating raw eggs!

    LOL....I am Way over 21..hehhe!

That homemade eggnog looks really delicious!!

Great video Eric! Merry Christmas to you and your camera girl!

  • @russtex thx russ. ho ho to you guys too. eric.

  • Another "egg"cellent delicious video. Love the cordless drill/driver wiskey thingey, that's really inventive and using your "nogg"in !! Keep the info and updates growiing our way :-{}

  • I seriously just got excited when I saw you uploaded a new video, haha

  • great video buddy--

    you guys are the best--

  • @NickiSig thx nicki!

  • you guys are so great lol i love this channel.

  • @ducky9991 thx ducky, glad you like it. eric.

  • Is Priscilla the name of your chicken or the woman you buy your eggs from? ;)

  • @cyenobite Priscilla is our neighbor who has a small farm, she is in the " how to tap maple trees' video and can be heard on several of our GardenFork Radio podcasts.

  • I always cook mine. I mix milk, sugar and eggs, and heat on med and wisk constantly until it reaches 165 degrees. I take it off the heat and add nutmeg and vanilla. I mix a little sugar with heavy cream and beat until soft peaks then mix that into the rest of the mixture. then chill. It cooks the eggs and thickens it.

  • Hey, you can make powdered sugar by simply putting granulated sugar in a blender. I've done it in by Vita-Mix blender. Oh, and I love nog, too!

  • yum yum!
