@NineZeroSix906 Not dissing consoles or PC but that would ruin it.. porting games always leaves one side dumped on cos the controls and some of the game mechanics can never work properly on both consoles and PC without some trade offs. PC games should stay on PC and consoles games on console unless the game is inherently arcade style, like most driving games etc.

I love Red Orchestra Ostfront. Maybe the best part about it are the fat 45 year old single dad history buffs that crouch around the maps peaking slowly around every corner while taking part in a heated debate on which SS units were and were not in Novgorod in 1943. I enjoy bunny hopping around the corner on them with my mp40, beasting their faces, and then calling them faggots.

I think it takes a few more time to save the old clip, and put the new one. I play RO, i know if you dont shoot all bullets the reload is faster, as you said, but it still seems too fast.

The Radar is only for relaxed-realism mode. Which is a game mode for beginning players, or casual.

If you don't want the radar, play on a realistic mode server, where there is no radar. :)

@calachaqui Did you download the ACE mod? If you didn't, then you didn't get the full realism experience out of Arma. Trust me, the ACE mod changes everything in the game to be a lot more realistic. Also, the game isn't meant to be hard, but it's meant to be realistic. Try to make it through one Coop mission without dying once. Even the best players I know can't do it. But I understand you dude, some people just don't like this kind of game. Are you gonna get the new Red Orchestra when its out?

don't like the lockdown idea, it negates the need for defenders to keep track of reinforcements & will cause them to be more reckless than they would normally be & ruin the realism, part of why the original game is so awesome is that you actually HAVE to defend a map for 15 or 20 or 30 or 60 minutes, it is exhausting, challenging & extremely rewarding when done correctly, it seems like they changed it to appeal to regular gamers, I think a lot of true RO players will be turned off by it.

The map is meant to only find allies. + there are 2 modes server mods can run.

Relaxes realism: Includes this map. This mode is meant for new players and lower the learning curve.

Realism: No map, basically old school RO.
