  • haha this will definitely come in handy when my dad leaves the radio on the open tailgate again.

  • Lol. This is funny. Especially when they drop it out of the car window.

  • METABO RADIOS ARE BETTER AND THEY CHARGE!

  • Innovators? I laughed when I saw the Milwaukee give his thumbs up. DeWalts plays music, has ports to run other tools and charges the Dewalt battery. Friends fell off the truck. Sucked after that.

    Saw Bosch's radio. Total awesomeness!

    I need one of those.

  • The radio plays well, no problems with that. I store the radio on a shelve in my van. It feel off the other day. Fell approximatly 24 to 30". The LCD turned grey and no longer able to read any thing. I sure as hell wouldn't try throwing one. Nice $100.00 paper weight.

  • Thats it, look RIGID

  • i've just recently bought one of these radios. f#@king brilliant.

  • DAM GOOD TEST

  • I have just about the whole line of m12 tools and they work great for small jobs, but I have had the hackzall for about three months and the motor is starting to get loud and make a grinding sound, not sure what to think of it.

  • Thanks for the feedback. I will pass it on to the product manager

  • hi guys, i own the milwaukee jobsite radio, not the one they are showing here, but the bigger one. I was wondering why my radio doesnt charge batterys like delwalt and bocshe radios do? i heard that dewalt patended that idea but im dont know if its true. also adding electrical outlets on the side of the radio would be a GREAT idea!

  • Yes, the M12(TM) Jobsite Radio has a sealed compartment in the front that includes an auxiliary input cord for ipod and mp3 connections.

  • @METToolTV We might as well just made speaker and battery shells for car audio head units, and put a trans(parent/lucent) door over the head unit; and have construction dudes use it.

  • Been thinking about the Milwaukee stereo but IDK if its better than a Dewalt. You should drop a Dewalt the same way, and more and more aggressively till one wins. lol

Does that thing have an mp3, or ipod connection? I get tired of radio all day.

  • anyone down for a quick soccer match?

  • tough little thing. I always wonder what happens in this video.

  • 80% of my tools are milwaukee...all cordless from the bandsaw to the rotary drill and i use them everyday for work as a mechanical contractor. i made allot of contractors switch from makita to milwaukee! so can i get some free shirts for pushing your product? haha

  • hey can this radio take the big m12 battery ?? does it work as a charger????

  • Very useful!! On my way to buy one

  • you guys are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! good job!!!!!! rsrsrsrsrsrsrsrs

  • I for years used DeWalt cordless tools, I was looking for another DeWalt drill when a Milwaukee sales person told me about there 18volt Lit tool set so I bought it, well it let me down, after a few new batteries, and a new drill the batteries would only last for about 2 screws. So I went back to the dewalt 18 volt no more problems. Then came the 12 volt impact and man I love that little sucker so I bought 2 more and a saw saw great tools, and then the radio comes out and I buy it no sound.

  • @Nutintoitbut2doit

Hi we would like to discuss this with you. How can we contact you directly?

  • @METToolTV I have sent you a Personal Message with my contact.

  • @Nutintoitbut2doit

Thanks, I have received it and passed it on to our product manager for follow up

  • @Nutintoitbut2doit all people like you acheive by posting such crap on the tube is make yourself look pathetic you obviously work for dewalt fuck head go eat shit and die, you stop people like me who are on the tools every day from getting good advice on a suitable tool tat will cover all the aplications we are looking for.

  • @Nutintoitbut2doit THE METABO RADIO IS THE SAME BUT LOUDER AND IT CHARGES

  • i am an avid milwaukee tool owner/user. bandsaw, supersawzall, holehawg, super hawg, big hawg hole cutters, v28 hammerdrill, sawzall, flashlight, circular saw, 1/2" impact. milwaukee chopsaw, coredrill, sds hammerdrill. i have m12 impact, screwdriver, hacksaw, light, drill, radio. the power cord failed on the radio after just 5 months of moderate use. the copper conductors pulled from the transformer. i dont think this is a "heavy duty" radio. i was disappointed at this early failure.

  • @beazleyjj

Hi we want to correct this situation for you. Can you provide you contact information so we can discuss?

  • @beazleyjj: Sounds like the problem was with the transformer, not the radio itself. Problem is that the transformers are most likely bought from a vendor who puts the Milwaukee nametag on it. Milwaukee actually designed and built the radio itself, and my understanding is that even though they are made in China, Milwaukee actually owns their own facility over there rather than contracting through a third party. But the transformer, however, is more likely a vendor issue.

  • Why would you throw a radio with inches of two cars?

  • i'm impressed. i just bought this and i'd never do any of this to it intentionally but it's nice to know it can withstand that kind of abuse.

  • a coworker has this radio, it's nice and loud! i would say the akiles heel is the LCD, it cracked so quick, still works though. anybody know if the XC M12 batteries work in this?

  • @ToolReview Hi, our product manager want to talk to you directlry about the LCD issue. What phone number can he reach you at?

  • @METToolTV for such a reliable device i'm surprised some sort of polycarbonate wasn't used to protect the LCD.

  • so i picked up the m18v today.. its legit. only con is that you have to pay a shit load of money for a battery and some more money for the charger. but i guess you could just get a power drill that comes with two batterys and a charger. now i have a good excuse to get more power tools :D

  • @Yoshu3000 how long does the battery life last on 2 AAA battery's with this radio?

  • The AAA batterys should last a while. They only have one purpose... to keep the clock memory going. They don't do anything else.

  • does anyone know if it charges your battery while the AC cord is plugged in?

  • No it doesn't. There is no charging ability in these radios.

  • Thats the Milwaukee in Brookfeild!

  • I reckon the older one looks better, this one is to small.

  • Of course the music could be dubbed in later. You have to convince me that the music actually did come from the radio.

  • dude who ever thought this up is disturbed but its great .... glad i to know it will take a f..king beating

  • Can you do a similar test on the new M18 radio as well, they both look awesome!!

  • I remember them throwing the original radio off the roof years ago. That was a much bigger, heavier radio....before Li Ion. It survived as well.

  • Just picked one up (the M18) today from Home Depot...Its SWEET, ehhh but I'm not throwing it out a 3 story window tho..well not on purpose

  • Other than the battery faling out, its pretty durable.

  • I have the 18v older style radio and love it...tough as hell.
