Why is this movie not for rent anywhere? It's not available on Netflix, iTunes, Etc. I never buy a DVD before first renting it to make sure I like it. But the makers of this movie seem to want buyers only. No renting allowed. I hope this doesn't become a trend among filmmakers. Too much risk involved in making a purchase without renting first. (Especially for DVDs like this which are so rare and thus have no cheaper copies available anywhere.) Blink your eye and this movie will no longer exist.
@compsciguy he was married to berry berenson and had two sons with her. But he also had affairs with men and died of aids. I guess that is what you would call bisexual? Some people just say he was entirely gay, but he was married for 20 years until his death so that shouldn't be ignored either.
In my opinion, WITHOUT Psycho, there'd be NO horror genre and I WOULDN'T be a horror enthusiast today. Psycho-in my opinion, THEE GREATEST HORROR/"SLASHER" film E-V-E-R MADE or of ALL TIME-and my PERSONAL FAVORITE HORROR film of ALL TIME. Sir Alfred Hitchcock, I "salute you" and THANK YOU for exercising or demonstrating such RARE ingenuity "behind the camera!"
@EarlyFilmmaker I don't think that BATES MOTEL is talked about in the documentary itself but I'm pretty sure they have a featurette about both the TV pilot and the remake on the second disc of the DVD.
1:11 Poor Emma! She just wanted to be with her "son"! (lol)
Anyway, I can't wait till it comes out. I'm glad Olivia Hussey and Henry Thomas were finally interviewed for the documentary. I just hope Rob eventually finds John Gavin and Vera Miles...plus I hope Pat Hitchcock and Claudia Bryar (is she's still alive today) make it to the documentary.
Did you try to interview Vera Miles & John Gavin ?
