Well I know I been mistreated. I never really been broke but I been mistreated an I use to be fat! I been mistreated mostly by african american females,males. When I was a youth I was called all kind of names. Ugly,fat,nutty perfessor,big moe. You name it.
That Caucasian man allowed himself to talk the way he did because he did not feel good about himself. However, most men, regardless of their race, don't go that low. There are low class white man who make catcalls at women and there are black men who pick on the way women look too. This isn't something you can deny.
This video makes sense in that people should not allow others to manipulate them into feeling like they are any less because of what anyone else thinks or maybe just says. That was not the emphasis in your other video. However, this video is commendable in that you do empower individuals into accepting and loving themselves.
Ok I got a chance to see this. Listen, from the getgo, it is not like I disagreed that the gentleman commenting on your weight was uncalled for. It may have came from a place of insecurity on his end and plainly, it is not his business if you gained weight. The only thing that remains to make the other video open to my criticism is your emphasis on his "caucasianness" and how that may have been a factor in how he chose to speak to you and to not speak up for you when you got some catcalls.
My father became ill and started to become crippled. My mother's family convinced her to leave him and this fucked up my life. Parents do not always love their children unconditionally if their children don't meet their standards, but make it look like their high standards is out of love.
Based on personal experience, a man is very unlikely to love his woman any bit more after she learns to meet his standards. He just takes it for granted, gets tired of her, and moves on by the time she fixes herself up. However, if a woman undergoes self improvement and her man doesn't stay, it is not entirely to her disadvantage. She can look for someone better than him perhaps.

But mistreatment is more willful. I don't believe in unconditional love, because if the subject does not continue to behave in a manner worthy of a person's affections such love is going to diminish. "Agape" is principled love that helps a person to show love for fellow man.

I believe that agape love is a level of perfection that the majority of people do not have. There are circumstance that would push the limits of even a person who feels that they have 'unconditional love' for someone. Agape love is a God love. It does not translate in ordinary relationships people have ... not with loves or even with their children.
Continued: If a person does attain that level of agape love they move in the direction of God not in the direction of people or of the physical. The key to this kind of unconditional love is God ... and even with God there are perimeters of what is acceptable or unacceptable. It does not mean He loves a person any less ... but it can mean they do not live with Him in His house for whatever time. I personally do not know any perfect people except Jesus who is the most perfect person I know.

YES; there is such a thing as Unconditional Love. However; Unconditonal Loving does not mean Hurt-Filled/Pain-Filled Loving, i.e. loving someone regardless of how much they hurt you. Unconditional Love also means knowing when it is time to let go.
The other side of your original question could be "Could YOU Unconditionally Love someone who was Broke, Fat, Disabled, etc.?"

When you get to the point where you feel that how others judge you is not how you see or judge yourself, then you will let go of outward/society's perceptions. When you get yet another dismissive look, based on that person/s negative perception, and you do not respond or react to it, believe me that will empower you. You got me thinking. Unconditional love has to born upon conditions right? The condition that we are attracted to or amused by or enjoy or have commonalities to eachother right? Otherwise we would just love everybody if it wasn't for conditions right? But, do we really want to love everybody?
I don't think a great deal of humans are capable of agape love unless they are parents. I think a lot agape love comes from creation. We say we love unconditionally but if we're honest with ourselves, we want something in return even if it's super small. A lot of the time we want or expect love in return. I think people have to get into a higher spiritual place to be able to have true agape love for someone other than their child.

My sister is totally overweight. She has the natural gifts of beauty women kill for. Her entire adolescent life she was top of the food chain. But, now she has chosen to be overweight since '97. There's no such thing as unconditional love. The definition of unconditional love is to say to love regardless of all conditions whether rationale or not. If no beating you, or cheating on you, or not killing your family is a condition of your love the, you don't love unconditionally. I wouldn't lump "fat" or disabled right along with being mistreated. Anybody, whether harsh or kind, rich or poor can be rendered disabled thru an unfortunate accident. But mistreatment is more willful. I don't believe in unconditional love, because if the subject does not continue to behave in a manner worthy of a person's affections such love is going to diminish. I believe that agape love is a level of perfection that the majority of people do not have. There are circumstance that would push the limits of even a person who feels that they have 'unconditional love' for someone. Agape love is a God love. It does not translate in ordinary relationships people have ... not with loves or even with their children.

YES; there is such a thing as Unconditional Love. However; Unconditonal Loving does not mean Hurt-Filled/Pain-Filled Loving, i.e. loving someone regardless of how much they hurt you. Unconditional Love also means knowing when it is time to let go.
The other side of your original question could be "Could YOU Unconditionally Love someone who was Broke, Fat, Disabled, etc.?"

I don't think a great deal of humans are capable of agape love unless they are parents. I think a lot agape love comes from creation. We say we love unconditionally but if we're honest with ourselves, we want something in return even if it's super small. A lot of the time we want or expect love in return. I think people have to get into a higher spiritual place to be able to have true agape love for someone other than their child.

My sister is totally overweight. She has the natural gifts of beauty women kill for. Her entire adolescent life she was top of the food chain. But, now she has chosen to be overweight since '97. She is still very successful. And I have never said a word to her about her weight. To me it is her choice of how she wants to live and that is good enough for me. Her life is going very well. So many great points made in this video. I was trying to tell my sister about the way someone will try to break you by building you up then tearingyou down the whole time she was with a guy who was doing just that. I had to be quiet so that she could see for herself what he was doing. You have got to love yourself so that no one can convince you that you are less than what you know yourself to be.

There's no such thing as unconditional love. The definition of unconditional love is to say to love regardless of all conditions whether rationale or not. If no beating you, or cheating on you, or not killing your family is a condition of your love the, you don't love unconditionally. Everyone has their breaking points and that's why love is not tangible. I rather be with a woman who is loyal to but may not love me then a girl who loves "unconditionally".
