  • I love love u videos thank you........ have a good day

  • @SuperClaci Thank you sweetheart, that certainly makes me very happy to hear, and I am glad if you get something out of it:) Hugs to ye...

  • Great video, but there some problems for those of us who not only eat lean, but also healthy. Ham (and other processed meats) is awful. Full of preservatives and colorings, including the extremely toxic sodium nitrate. Also, every brand of fat-free cottage cheese I've ever seen has artificial/natural flavors and colors and also hidden sugars. Why? It's cottage cheese! Just leave it alone! Anyway, I try to avoid all colorings, flavorings, and preservatives, so just a heads up.. Thanks!

  • @Matthewtron3030 Not everybody eats everything. If the ONLY thing on the list you can eat, is organic chicken breasts, than that is still what you should be eating. Avoiding all the evils does not mean any other way of eating will get you lean. I choose to eat what I eat. If you choose to live of chicken breasts 6 times a day, that is absolutely your choice, the main thing is you will be eating chicken breasts, not choosing a carb as a "healthy" alternative to the protein you are supposed to

  • I'm going to try it and...if I puke...it is all your fault. LOL

What is your take on drinking milk??

  • @TheHippieHousewife he-he-he... It is very hard in the beginning to get all the food in, but once your metabolism kicks in, you will be starving, believe you me. You will be praying for the 3 hours to pass so you can have the next meal. Milk is wonderful as long as it is non-fat. Just don't do the bloody soy milk crap. Keep upping your protein and stay away from carbs until it is possible for you to get all proteins in:)

  • Great info! I will have to give cottage cheese another try :-O I am like you....have always thought it looked and tasted like vomit. Scares me to even think of buying any again. lol

  • @TheHippieHousewife You know what, if you turn it into a dessert, somewhat like a cheesecake, it becomes very tolerable. Put some fruit in it, until you are used to the texture, then remove the fruit and see how you like it. It is even great on salad greens.

  • Hi Marinda, thanks for the great info, just wondering about the pita bread, is it ok to have this for breaky, is it not a carb, wow, this whole carb thing is really confusing me somewhat lol, thanks again for the video and all your videos...keep them coming. :)

  • @cmphillips1968 Those pita breads (only available in canada not USA) is extremely low in carbs. You need very little carbs to keep you going. Many protein things have carbs in them for instance cottage cheese. That is a staple during dieting down, but it does contain carbs. So during a dieting down phase (for contest prep) we only eat meat, fish and eggs. On a normal diet, you have hidden carbs everywhere, which is very low. Even your veggies has some carbs. Remember....

  • @cmphillips1968 It is called a low carb diet, not a no carb diet. so if you cut EVERYTHING that you know is carbs, you will still ingest carbs. People who tell me they are lethargic from no carbs are lying because when we tell them how much carbs they are actually getting in without knowing it, all of a sudden their energy levels go up. It is a mind thing, more than anything else:)

  • Hi Marinda...we LOVE Costco...we go there every weekend (and sometimes during the week too) like a religion! :-)

My hubby and I want to move abroad and I am SO afraid of losing my beloved costco and all the healthy foods that I buy in bulk!

    Thank you Marinda!!!

  • @thebarbiewithmuscle I think its about food values.

  • Hi Angie girl,

  • LOL, you are very welcome. Bless you sweet thing, I'm glad we could help.

  • Lots of good ideas, Marinda....thanks again!

  • No problem honey:) Did you message me for e-mail info yet?

  • I just went to Walmart today with my daughter and did a lot of label reading. She's on Weight Wather"s and counts the points on everything! I'm in Texas and there is a Costco here, So that's good; too.

  • So now that you've done that, have you seen how much "hidden" carbs there is in everything? Everybody thinks carbs are cakes and breads, and have no idea how much carbs they are getting in even before consuming what they actually think of as carbs! Isn't it fascinating? Good for you

  • Good sources of protein! I'm so excited for us to get started! :)

  • Me too, me too, you guys are gonna do so well! I am so proud of all of you, I really am!

  • Thanks for the great tips! Excellent video!!!!

  • More to come sweet thing, more to come!

  • Ooo...this is all so new to me! Taking notes galore...Yikes!

  • You poor thing! We are trying to pump knowledge that we've gained over 5 years, in your brain in 20 minutes. We have a lifetime. I'm not going anywhere, you will learn as you go:) I know it is overwhelming. I should have waited a while before doing the contest. I think everyone is going to run away from being so overwhelmed.

  • Oh no we are gobbling all the great info up as soon as you can get it to us. And with my appreciation!!

  • I am going to the gym tomorrow to use their scale since I don't think ours is the most accurate thing. Oh yes and another tape measure, mine is to short. After that pictures. I am so liking these videos. L-

  • Waiting in anticipation, LOL. Will send you guys a program to start on. Can you send me something with an idea on your workout, so I can see how advanced you are.

  • i put a Syrian recipe that suits this life style plan on the other vid-..do you guys watch the sodium in the foods? about the pita- is it pita made with whole wheat or is there added proteins? if people struggle with eating this way i recommend a pizza stone- its give you the (CRUNCH) you may be missing when you make this pizza- adds no fat-nocalores only crunch. x shelly

  • Wheat bran, wheat gluten, unbleached wheat flour, pea flour. Sodium doesn't count on a high protein diet, your body will need it, and with lots of water, your body will get rid of the excess by itself.

  • Excellent! I also like beans and lentils for a good protein/carb mix. FF cottage cheese is one of my favorites...really!

  • Good for you, just remember that the protein in beans or lentils is not of a sufficiently high quality to count towards your dayly protein allowance. They are good for you, because they have lots of other nutriens and fibre.

  • Loving these videos. I have some good ideas I can try! Thanks.

  • I am so happy, feel free to share your ideas with everyone!

  • I will and Please share you idea's too!!! Thanks
