This is a great match. I have this US Open on VHS and it was great to see Sudsy win his first Open against Andy in the finals. This match was awesome though.

Anyone else think that the rallies back then were much more exciting due to the slower racquets? Today every shot is hit at mach speed and it seems to shorten the rally length too much. You can even hear the difference.

@racquetballtim personally i like when the ball moves faster. it rewards you more for hitting good shots and it leaves the ball up more when you dont hit a good shot. also it gives the athletes a chance to show off ridiculous reactions and lightning fast hand speed when someone slams it at well over 150mph

@racquetballtim was it the racquets or the balls that were slower? 'cause i know some balls are made slower and this could be the case for the pro-circuit as a way to be pro-spectator
