  • awesome this is easy!!!!

  • Thanks :DD

I was able to play this song instantly :D

    GOD BLESS :DD

  • I play it in the key of F with a capo on the 3rd fret. But everyone does it it different due to the singers and everything. This would be really helpful for the beginners wanting to play at a church or just at their house cuz you dont need to be in a church to praise him. I just did for about 30 mins 2 hours ago. And I plan to do it again at around 6am lol.

  • pretty Good.

  • thanks. this helped a lot

  • god bless !

  • Thank you for posting this lesson, can you please put the strumming pattern on here so beginners like me can learn to play this song the way it should be played. Thank you.

  • Im not talkin bout the song they are playin in the video. Just lookin for advice on playin praise an worship on guitar. Thanx!

  • Isnt like the key of F or Eflat more for keyboards? Our keyboard player plays these keys a lot. They sound kind of funny to me on guitar. I think I rather play songs with open chords. I am seeking advice here.

  • where's the annoying lick thats played over the song? its only on the hillsong version.

  • If you think its annoying then why do you want it?!

  • Nice work and keeping it simple. Another simple trick it to have guitar 2 strum and A chord (D shape) at the 9th fret while guitar 1 covers the chords as shown. Nice way to utilize two guitars without doubling up on parts - keeps it fresh and easy...

  • Praise the Lord

  • God bless

  • practice strumming, while lightly covering the strings to mute, u'll get the hang of the strum in no tym at all if u strum along to the song.

  • This is one of my favs very nice job.

Imm very newe at playing and can not get the strumming down.

  • If you play it without the capo (in A maj)using barre chords for the verse and switching to root position for the chorus it gives it a little more umph when you reach the chorus. Just how I play it, I know its not everybody's style.

  • this was awesome :)

    great job.

  • Thanks, that helped!

    Do more Praise tips!!!!

  • nice. im a beginner ty very much

  • Hi,

Thanks for posting this instructional video.

Just one quick correction though. Tell Matt it's not D sustained, but D suspension.

  • This is one of my favorite songs, but I'm having trouble seeing which chords you're playing, is there any way you can post the lyrics with the chords above?

  • The Audio Lines up a lot better on this one, Enjoy!

  • hi I've tried to play by ear the strum pattern but I am new to this so it's very hard to make out.

    Is it d u d u d, u d u d d, d u ? please tell me as I don't wanna learn this song wrong.

  • You can go, D, UUD, UUDU, UD whenever you play C, G, Em, D in a role.

When you play the C/D/C/D part, I play for the C; DU. For the D; DU, UDU.

I haven't figured our the bridge yet. So bare with me.

  • thank you so much!

  • Anybody know what are the chords in the chorus, I can't tell from the video and that's the part I'm missing!
