this is from their first album the very first one then they made the video and thats when bill had a lower voice (puberity) this version is b4 his voice change^^

This is far before the operation. You see, this earlier version of "Rette Mich" was on the "Schrei" album which they recorded before the wonders of puberty kicked in. Right after they finished production on that album Bill's voice changed. So, by the time they released the song as a single they had to re-record it in Bill's deeper voice. They did the same thing with "Der Letzte Tag".
