My teenage son is not ready to live in a democracy. He is inattentive, does not study history and can hardly understand the consequences of present policies, let alone judge the likely outcomes of various alternative policies. Human civilization is complex. Is that what you mean? OK, then, you would rather hope for enlightened governance by philosopher kings, than depend on the voters? Hmm. Or, are you interested in various forms of anarchism?

I heard Monteith explain it in a documentary I just bought called: Secret Mysteries of America's Beginnings; vol. 1, The New Atlantis.
I HIGHLY recommend that EVERYONE listen to both of these men.

Or go back much, much further into history: to a time when people lived in tribal society, so caring for everyone's survival equally came naturally because they were all family. We need to evolve to have that same caring for everyone, but opening it to realize that everyone is our family - all people, and the other species that live in our world, and the biosphere herself.

No. You are responsible. You should have taught him; or maybe he sensed that you had it wrong, and it turned him away from such studies, rather than to have to interact with his father on these topics of discussion.

I do NOT believe in "ISMs."
The Republic can vote w/o socialism! It is in the Constitution! "WE THE PEOPLE."
We need no "ISM" for that!
We need to get rid of electoral college!
With the true, free republic, we create informed, educated, self directed citizens.
Who is mainly represented in government is freemsonry, the elite, royalty, corporations, and the intelligence community/black ops/military.
