  • I am wondering, can we conclude that the molecules actually behave like the atoms..and that their behaviour is more like a solitary particle rather than of a particle which is made out of the bonding of other particles (atoms)..because when the atoms bond its like ''mixing'' their qualities - mixing of their orbitals to form a molecular orbital?

  • Oh, and I can't understand why some says that the hybridization theory is in counterbalance to the MO theory...I think that the atom can mix its own orbitals to form hybrid orbitals and than these hybrid orbitals may ..''hybridize'' once again with the orbitals of other atoms to form molecular orbitals...

  • nice step by step breakdowns

  • I wish you were my professor! I've been trying to grasp this theory for so long but the way my professor chooses to explain it does not make sense at all.

    thank you so much! :)
