What a pretentious bore, mouthing the usual solipsistic concerns of the typical believer. Hearing this "something greater than yourself" tripe from people who actually think the universe was created just for them always sends me into fits of laughter. Thanks for that anyway.
On the other hand, I don't much like the Amazing Atheist either, as he seems to be doing it more for the attention than anything else, otherwise why would anyone be that obnoxious on purpose?
@AssassinSmashBros That you say you hate then because the dont like gay people and dont like condoms so that usually reflects you for example: I hate swimming because i cant swim. Now you see how that can reflect you! I can actually swim
Most importantly, question number six, why is TheAmazingAtheist a total dipshit, who makes a video about his carpetmunching ass getting kicked out of McDonald's because they ran out of dick juice. All I'm saying is... why waist a video on an assbandit who complains about him needing dick juice with his meat? Your Fan Stupideos
God should not provide the forgiveness free of works that many Protestants say that he provides. If you have a chance for giving people their just desserts, you should punish the wicked, with an amount of time and punishment to fit the crime, not infinite time of great pain. He should not consider faith, because outside of what it would do to help you get into heaven, it's application in the world can justify anything from benevolence to terrorism. The atheist per capita prison population has...
@MacabreManifesto ...been shown to be much lower than the free population, which suggests, to me, that faith is better at inspiring bad things. Or, at least, a clean slate mentality, in that: I will try to have fun at other peoples expense and if I get caught then I get away with it because Jesus is in my heart. faith also holds people to an old objective standard of morality: Gays are wrong. Christians (as far as I have seen) start with the assumption that the bible's negative attitude...
@MacabreManifesto ...toward homosexuality is true, and try to build an argument from there, rather than asking: Is homosexuality good bad or neither, should homosexuals have the right to marry, etc. And then consider all relevant points. I do not like to think that law is being decided by blue opinion.
Seriously now, stop, just stop it. Give it up. Whatever mania is driving you resist it because you are wasting your life I don't intend this to be insulting but you look like you are waiting for that final straw to break you. Why are you obsessed with trying to force your beliefs on people? Relax, take a deep breath, go do something fun or something nice for someone.
Don't even bother talking to TheAmazingAtheist. I'm a hardcore anti-theist myself, but that guy is just an idiot. Please don't let him represent atheists to you in any way.
God is often angry with us, because with all the technology, science, money, power and medicine we have, there is still so much suffering in this world.
I guess that is a lot of the reason why he has lost so much faith in humanity.
You said "too bad there is no god", ever think God says, "too bad there is no humanity."
Why the fuck all religious people think that there should be a meaning in our lives... What the fuck makes us so important? I'm just one guy among 6 billion people living on a planet orbiting a star, there are billions of stars in our galaxy, and there are billions of of galaxies in the universe? So yeah, you're insignificant, i'm insignificant, we're all insignificant...
Insignificance doesn't imply that something cannot have meaning; the bits in my computer are certainly insignificant yet they hold great meaning. To me, of course. And there is the big point that confounds theists who for some unfathomable reason think that people can't provide meaning to their own existence but instead require it from some outside dictator. Its pathetic.
@Phage0070 The bits have a function, that's not the same with meaning... We have a function too, It is to ensure the the continuity of our species... As for meaning, we choose it, doesn't mean it's going to hold any significance.
"significance" to...? The term "significant" is inherently subjective according to a consciousness. Even if you had already established that a god existed you still haven't proved that your purpose of raising your children right is any less "significant" than the god's test to decide which bin to put you in after you are dead. What is it about a god that makes you think its opinion about what our purpose should be is better than our own?
@Phage0070 That was my point is if understood correctly. we create our purpose and no matter big or small our purpose in life is we're still insignificant compared to the universe... Look at it this way, if half of earth's population is wiped out that would be a very significant event in human history, but what is earth, just one planet among trillions. If the Sun dies, so what, it's one star among billions. Compared to the universe we're all insignificant, you can't deny that.
Compared to the universe we are infinitely more significant. A star is impressive, but it wasn't intended. If a giant star roars its nuclear fury into the blackness of space for a billion years it is awe-inspiring, but pointless if there is no consciousness regarding it. I get your point about being humble in the face of the vast universe, but concepts like significant and meaning are inherently bound to that of consciousness.
@cyberhobo813 But why do you think that there must have been a creator? The only argument theists have against atheists is that something can't come out of nothing, therefore there must have been a creator, a god. But i say this: who created god? If you say he was always there that means that he was never created which a contradiction to the previous statement that something can't come out of nothing . There doesn't have to be a god. Oh, and i was a muslim before i became an atheist so...
@Pentagon1311 When a farmer wants to clear his field of weeds and start a new crop stronger than the last, he sends his workers into the current field to bring out what good crops is in there. Then he burns the field, destroying the weeds and starts a new one. That is what God is doing with this world.
We are those crops, do the crops ever know the origin of the farmer?
God expects us to love and admire him for what is good in the world, charity, faith, love, etc... Those are our fruits.
@cyberhobo813 So wait, are you saying god is using us for his selfish goals, because that's what we are doing to the crops... I didn't understand but nevermind. I want to know why do you believe in a god? Is it blind faith, the concept that there MUST be something after life and something beyond our 'realm of understanding'...
We are just one planet among billions, the sun is one star among billions, and there are billions of galaxies. Why do you (we) think you are so important?
@Pentagon1311 Its about love though. God simply has us as a form of amusement, I guess is a way of looking at it.
He likes for us to explore the universe and understand things. Says so in The Bible, he gave Adam the job to name the animals, and to this day we are still finding more animals and naming them, and it will always be that way.
That's why the crops example I used is just a way to look at it. Refering to the way God will take of a certain problem that we are having down here on Earth.
@Pentagon1311 Soz, you asked why I believe in God, and I went off track. A title that God has and he is proud of is The Father of the Fatherless, my father died before I was born, I am a fatherless. Some say I am delusional, I follow the voice in my mind through my heart and find God, all the way to him. He is as real to me as any person I have met in this world, more so really.
That's not a sign of true faith though, God prefers people to believe in him with as little interaction as possible.
@Pentagon1311 Plenty of time to be close with God on a more personal way in the next life.
This is a life of repenting and suffering, to not be the weeds that get left behind, but instead the fruit bearing good plants tht get tooken up into heaven and avoid the fire and get replanted in the new garden.
You can pray to Jesus Christ and be saved.
Takes a few days for the message to get through, he's not the one who is reluctant, it us who rebelled initialy against him. Reprove our love for him.
@cyberhobo813 Jesus Christ was schizophrenic... He heard voices, had battles with invisible forces. This is not a life of repenting, there is no afterlife. What you see is what you get, so i suggest you start living your life to the fullest and die a satisfied man, a man who didn't bow down to an invisible creature, a free thinker, aware of the reality of the world.
@Pentagon1311 Stronger is the faith where you do not have to see or hear him to believe enough to repent.
Still, as long as you are alive it is not to late, you can see him, talk with him, interact with him, all that.
It's no more being schizophrenic than anyone else.
There are plenty of schizos who do not have any relation with God, and plenty of people who are not schizo who have wonderful relationships with their creator.
@cyberhobo813 Really, just because some people don't believe in god they aren't humane? Do you know that only 0.25% of the prison population in the US are atheists? Also neighborhoods with higher atheist population have significantly lower crime rates. I don't need a book to tell me what's right and wrong, besides if god (if he exists) sends me to hell just because i didn't believe in him, despite me being a good man throughout my life then i don't want to have anything with that kind of tyrant.
@Pentagon1311 Saying you don't believe in God because you don't like "his values" is not really not believing in him. It's just disagreeing with him, as you misunderstand him to be, sounds more like you dislike his adversary, The Devil, anyways. Good versus evil you know.
About the athiest's population in prison, the people in prison are the ones who get caught.
People in prison, do you mean the gang members and thieves, drug pushers and murderers? With the evil looking tatoos? Christians?
@cyberhobo813 The abrahmic god (islam, christianity and judaism) is a tyrant, he "tests" people for fun, sends people to roast in hell and so on... If he does exist fuck him i denounce him, i do not want to have anything to do with him... But he doesn't exist, people have been believing in him for 2000 years without any sort of proof. Even if there is a deity that created everything (highly doubt it) he certainly isn't your god, the one who answers your prayers and "controls the earth"...
@cyberhobo813 "Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then He is not omnipotent. Is He able, but not willing? Then He is malevolent. Is He both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is He neither able nor willing? Then why call Him God?"
Think about this quote for a second and try to explain it to yourself...
@Pentagon1311 We are the unconquerable spirit of man. And the gods should serve us. They should bow to us. Love us, like a dog loves its master.
The Most High God created us in his image for that purpose, but this drove Satan into a fit of jealousy who rebelled. He will not submit. So here is a Hell.
Jesus loves us that way, as both God and man. He was a man amongst us and showed us God's love. God is both willing and able to prevent evil, we are not, and that is the ugly truth.
@cyberhobo813 Then what is god? We are. We created him. You said yourself "we are not able to prevent evil"... If god is both willing and able to prevent evil and we are not that means he holds no power over us. This is claimed by you, others would claim he is almighty and holds power over all of us... You see, these kind of contradiction made me give up religion... Besides religion is purely and utterly geographical, if you were born in Arabia you would claim Mohammad loves us all not Jesus...
@Pentagon1311 We are not The Most High God, but we are created by him in his image. We share his power. The other "gods" refused to "worship" him through us.
We as the human race are at with war with those other gods. A spiritual war.
They play on our sense of pride, lust, etc... A very formidable tactic.
Jesus Christ is both man and The Most High God, he both serves and is to be served.
I am not Arabian, I am the son of my father, who was the son of his father. I am simply an American.
@cyberhobo813 My point exactly, if you were born in a muslim country you would have preached islam, but you were born in the US where christianity is the predominant religion. I have talked with many muslims and not a single one has claimed that we should serve Jesus, nor did a christian claim that we should serve Mohammed. In other words, pardon me, you're all full of shit. It's like me defending my rapist brother despite the overwhelming evidence, just because he's my brother. hypothetically
@Pentagon1311 I was not and could not be born as a Muslim, an impossibility. Some in-betweeners may "convert" from one religion to another, just part of the spiritual war that has been waging since the dawn of man.
I am at war with the gods.
Jesus was part man, and he too, was at war with the gods. He was the mortal being of The Most High God.
Another part of me is I am a fatherless, and God is The Father of the Fatherless.
@cyberhobo813 How sad and empty one must be to feel the need to fill such a void with the concept of God. So limited one's perspective when they claim to know the "truth." The life that is missed while planning for an afterlife that will never come. Shed a tear for all who have died who never had the courage to truly live, knowing that their chance has come and gone. One cannot appreciate the true mystery of this universe if viewed only in the shadow of a god. This is the tragedy of belief.
@Pentagon1311 To me such a statement is leeching off religion like a hypocrite. To gain notice they bang into religion. Nothing new, and from a religious view, Satan did it first.
I know from my own experiences it is the religious who do the most good though.
Athiests don't feed the poor to my knowledge, they just try to take credit for the advancement of science.
It really isn't as impressive to me as you might think.
Athiests will never be able to impress me with "charity". They're empty.
@cyberhobo813 That's fucking bullshit, you're saying atheist don't do charity? Well i'm living proof that they do, i've given charity plenty times... oh, and who is the biggest philanthropist in the world? Bill Gates, and guess what, he's an atheist... Religion has nothing to do with human goodness. With or without religion good people will continue to do good things, and evil people will continue to do evil things, only with religion good people do evil things...
@Pentagon1311 Bill Gates? Isn't he that guy that copyrighted a lot of software stuff that was already in use and developed by so many other people, made tons of cash and then took that money to other countries and acts like some sort of super-bigshot? From what I understand he is a lot of the reason why America's economy is suffering so badly today. Anyways, being a fatherless (my father died before I was born) growing up America I don't know of him doing anything that is good.
@Pentagon1311 There is an interview I found concerning Bill Gates' religious views googling "Bill Gates Religion" on The American Veiw
He isn't an anti-religious athiest, more of a disinterested in religion type of person.
Gates: I don’t. I’m not somebody who goes to church on a regular basis. The specific elements of Christianity are not something I’m a huge believer in. There’s a lot of merit in the moral aspects of religion. I think it can have a very, very positive impact.
Gates: In terms of doing things I take a fairly scientific approach to why things happen and how they happen. I don’t know if there’s a god or not, but I think religious principles are quite valid.
@cyberhobo813 Don't you see what he did over there, put himself in the middle. He's a businessman these kinds of things can hurt his business. Anyway, maybe Bill was a bad example because he isn't clearly an atheist because he had never clearly expressed his religious orientation for obvious business reasons it is very stupid to connect human goodness with religion, there are good and bad atheists and there are good and bad theists, only difference is that the ratio is a lot worse with theists.
@cyberhobo813 How can you say that atheists live in a dream, sometimes i wonder if you're serious or just trolling. I view the world as it is, i do not claim that i know the truth nor do i believe in an invisible creature... It is the theists who live in a dream and it's time to wake up.
@Pentagon1311 Part One: I enjoy a good conversation, and you are giving me one. These are my true feelings, and the conclusions I have come to. I am not trolling, Wouldn't waste my time just to mess with one person's head, and I believe the same for you, too. I believe you really believe the things you say. As far as athiests go, you are one of th good kind, you aren't overspoken with hate or resentmen, you just feel that religion is an overused way of controlling people, and you are right. That
@Pentagon1311 Part Two: That is why i posted those specific verses. They pertined to our conversation. The pros and cons of religion. As to say, what it is intended for, and how it is being abused.
You mentioned these points in your last reply; Slavery and murder in The Bible.
Slavery- Moses was a slave who killed an abusive taskmaster that was overbeating another slave. Moses fled from Egypt and stayed in the desert for a time ni hiding. God was impressed with Moses' bravery and blessed him,
@Pentagon1311 Part three; Moses was a slave that fought back against his oppression and freed his people from slavery.
Murder- There are plenty of murders that take place in The Bible, murderers are always the villain, and usualy punished or are doomed to judgement and with the few that are forgiven it is still seen as an evil act . People quote the concept of war and capitol punishment that is in The Bible and say that is murder being advocated, that is just a matter of opinion.
I say Athiests live in a dream world because they claim to have the final knowledge concerning religion and the existence of God, but don't believe in either. How can that be?
Then more than half the time they try to push themselves off as being the world experts on topics of science and medicine and technology etc... So what? They don't believe in God, that is what they are, nothing more than that, people who don't believe in God, some may be smart. But mostly I find
@Pentagon1311 Mostly I find Athiests to be not very serious, filled with hate, insultive, very crude. Most Athiests seem evil to me. But that is ridiculous right? Well, I've had a very hard time in life "getting along" with other Christians. Controlling, wanting to be practicly worshipped, expecting people to bow to their altar, call them Father, that sort of stuff. Hopefuly, we can get past the stereotyping and not blame each other for the actions of others. We both seem to have strong beliefs.
@cyberhobo813 First of all there are plenty of bible quotes about calling to murder, like burn the cities of the non-believers something something, i don't remember... Second of all, we are not living in a fantasy world, no one has ever claimed to know the absolute truth, it's just that there is no evidence about god and from a logical point of view that "theory" is very absurd, there is proof about black holes, dark matter *continues*...
@Pentagon1311 Life seems like it would be very bleak to lose God.
You brought up the subject of what there is proof of, and mentioned (only) black holes and dark matter. Yeah, there is a black hole in the center of our spiral shaped galaxy. You have spent some time thinking about that?
Some times I wonder if that is the absolute Hell I have heard about, the lake of fire beyond the giant iron door. That the lost godless souls are pulled into at the final end of time. The metaphoric final death.
@cyberhobo813 Pt1 It's not bleak without god, life is much more beautiful without god. I don't feel empty, i think that you do, that's why you need to fill a void with a god. Btw black holes are not hell, they are formed when a big star reaches the end of its life, gets crushed under its own gravity, leaving behind a black hole. Also i find the concept of soul a bit stupid, why would anyone say that emotions and thoughts going inside our brains are souls, there is no soul, it's just the brain.
@cyberhobo813 Pt.2 Do you even know how insignificant we are? We live in a planet orbiting a star, there are hundreds of billions of stars in our galaxy and there are billions of galaxies. So do you really think that black holes are hell prepared for us, humans? I'm a good man, i've done charity, i've helped people do you really think that i deserve to burn with murderers and rapists just because i didn't believe in him, even if i've been a good man my whole life, what kind of a tyrant is that?
@cyberhobo813 Oh and did i mention that i was a muslim before i became an atheist? So there is no way i would ever ever follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, if i happen to start believing in a god again, i would return to Islam not Christianity, so according to you i'm still fucked, i will still go to hell for it, because i didn't choose the right one. There are 22 big religions in the world and thousands that are smaller, what makes you think you chose the right one?
@cyberhobo813 Funny thing about "choosing" religion... You never chose christianity, you were born in a christian family, if you were born in muslim family, you would have claimed mohammad is the real deal not jesus...
@Pentagon1311 Looks like we a got a mini Dawkins here. Just because people are born into a Christian home doesn't make them Christian in the sense of..well actually BEING a Christian. lol you still need to choose it, I'd expect that reasoning from a 6 year old.
@GuitarGuy22221 Did you choose christianity? no you didn't. if you were born in a muslim family you would have been a muslim, that doesn't mean you choose islam over christianity which was my point. Everyone is born an atheist.
@Pentagon1311 Everyone is born an atheist? I'm sorry, what? I don't think I knew anything when I was born, seeing I was an infant who didn't know anything about anything.
@GuitarGuy22221 What i meant is that when you're born you don't believe in anything and if no one tells you (brainwashes) throughout life to believe in a god you certainly would not believe in a god, other than that you wouldn't know about a god. That's why everyone is born an atheist.
You are a dumb fuck aren't you? What makes you a christian other than the fact that you were born in a christian family? Nothing.
@Pentagon1311 Ad Hominum again. Could you stop with the fallacies please?
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.” (Mat 7:22-23)
No, you have to live out the Christian walk. Just because my father is a pastor, that doesn't automatically make ma Christian. I make my own choices.
@Pentagon1311 "What i meant is that when you're born you don't believe in anything and if no one tells you (brainwashes) throughout life to believe in a god you certainly would not believe in a god"
If that were true, how does that explain people like Francis Collins(Former head of the Human Genome Project)? Who never really gave it a thought until after he became a doctor.
You aren't making any sense.
What makes you an Atheist other than jumping on the bandwagon of the Neo-darwinists?
@GuitarGuy22221 Atheism is the disbelief of god, nothing more. You are born: you know of no god, no allah, no jesus. Therefore you don't believe in anything because you don't know about that. If no one starts brainwashing you about gods and heaven/hell from an early age you will never believe in them. Therefore everyone is born an atheist.
Eskimo: "If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?" Priest: "No, not if you did not know." Eskimo: "Then why did you tell me?"
@Pentagon1311 So you if you don't know about it..you don't believe it? That's a self-contradicting statement. You can't not believe in something if you don't know about it. Why? Because you don't know about it! Rofl this is common understanding in language!
@GuitarGuy22221 Do you believe in the flying spaghetti monster? No. Why? Because you haven't been brainwashed since birth about it.
My point was if kids weren't brainwashed to believe in something that doesn't exist since birth they wouldn't believe in it because there is nothing that makes you a believer other than brainwashing. The schools, your parents, the "in god we trust", priests telling you that you'll go to hell to burn for eternity if you don't behave but yet god loves you and so on.
@cyberhobo813 For example we can't see black holes, yes, just like we can't see god, but we know they're there based on their effect on matter near it, yet you think your theory is valid but you no single proof about it, the only proof is the bible which really isn't proof because it uses circular reasoning - bible is proof that god exist and god wrote the bible, don't you see the absurdity and stupidity in this. Most atheist are insultive because religion deserves to be insulted and ridiculed.
@cyberhobo813 Faith is a belief in something without no proof... I would believe in god if you had proof, why do i "believe" in science? Because it works, because it has proof about everything it says, and everything in it can be disproven, so no i do not have strong beliefs like you because i put logic and reason before blind faith, and trust me it works, my life hasn't changed drastically since i became an atheist, so really you don't need "god" in life, just go out and live it to the fullest.
@Pentagon1311 That are my thoughts on it, and when and if you become an atheist one day, you will realize the absurdity of religion and why it deserves to be ridiculed..
@cyberhobo813 So to conclude, you and i are not quite the same, because you have beliefs and i have logic and reason, i don't BELIEVE in science, i see the proof of science and i accept it, if it had no proof i would not have accepted it... that's the difference between atheists and theists... I do not say god does not exist 100%! I say, there is no proof of god whatsoever and the theory of god is very childish, primitive, contradictive and absurd so he most likely (99,9%) does not exist...
@Pentagon1311 Part six; Sorry I had so many typos and mispellings in my comments. I am just rather tired today, it is late for me. Six posts you know, I just sort of banged them out you know. Life is a series of correspondences it seems.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
@cyberhobo813 Please stop quoting this bullshit, as it is very flawed. Why don't you quote psalm 137:9
"Happy those who seize you children and smash them against a rock"
Why don't you quote some verse on slavery or murder?
The bible is nothing more than a tool for the smart to control the weak, it has everything in it, one can make people obey, kill and rape in its name. Besides to say god exists because the bible says so is like saying Hogwarts exists because the Harry Poter books say so.
4)I dont care what people remember me for or even that they remember me. I'll be dead it wont matter to me.
5)When i was younger yes i did feel like I needed forgiveness from a god. Today I realize that there is no reason to think there is a god so therefore no need to get forgiveness.
my question to you: why do you believe in what you believe in?
@Shadowoftheday99x Course he did, the Bible says He is both the Creator of peace and calamity. Isaiah 45:7. I am not even Christian by the way, I am Muslim.
@asianbeverage and why would the law be greater than myself. i can see the advantages of there being a law for which i sacrifice my freedom, to gain protection. but i can also see the advantages of breaking the law, when the probability of being caught together with the punishment applied are small enough to be worth it.
therefore, nothing is greater than myself. i follow the easiest way to reach my goals
i think christians have this different mindset where they think that these questions can be answered in both a honest, and accurate way....
for them it's all about what you *think.. for me, as an atheist it's all about what you do. but over and over i see christians asking questions that they themselves have never actually thought about answering in any other paradigm than the "god exists therefore..."one.
Indeed you are very much in the minority when it comes to the Theists on youtube. You are probably one of the few Theists worth debating here; which says something about the followers of theology as well as you.
But one thing, I find that you always look miserable in your Videos, and TJ always looks happy, if not a bit psycho. If an intelligent person, following God, looks and feels like you do.... I don't know, I don't think you are happy.
@xNoReligionx Minority on youtube? OH just like the Neo-Darwinists in the area of science, funny.
If he puts this kind of effort in defending his belief in God because it gives him PURPOSE and God is LOVE, I'm pretty sure there's something good there.
I think the same of you atheists sometimes. You guys say your happy, but..are you really? I'm happy because God gives me substance, love. I live an amazing life, I play with a band who plays out and proclaims Jesus, and have an amazing family.
He's an atheist. In other words his answers wouldn't be what you'd expect them to be. I don't think your video was even worth his time. You honestly think nobody has asked him these questions before? It's just the shit you put up with when you're an atheist. There is nothing greater than the here and now and just because our minds can ask those questions doesn't mean they deserve or have an answer.
@stepchangeable I'll correct your answer. There Is a God. He's your father. Man why you dissing your father? TogetherForPeace thank you so much. We had to come from somewhere. You know? I dont think we just somehow falled out of the clouds. lol. I'm truley a believer of God.
@radical228 well theres been evidence supporting that meteors from another planet or galaxy crashed into the earth and the amino acids and other basic life atoms spread out and thats how life began on earth.
If you think we magically fell out of the clouds, and that is how you think life started, no wonder you believe in god. You are stupid. Read a book and maybe you will learn something and take this life as something more amazing than, oh hey god made us.
@sh0werp0wer haha i know right i mean I couldnt imagine what someone would think seeing him in the woods talking to a camera they would probably think hes a terrorist
(cont.) it is unlikely that my existence will remain significant for long after my death.
4. A great friend, and hopefully the champion of humanity. Or at least as a scientist or intellectual of merit, if I can't save the world from the mutant goat overlords.
1. The fact that humanity has been able to peer across vast regions of space and inside the atom itself. Such feats for such a divided, foolish species.
2. It means that you are a Homo sapiens.
3. I hope that humanity will continue to progress towards a peaceful world that also manages to minimize the damage it causes to the rest of the planet. My existence is only significant for the people I have direct contact with, and (cont.)
Just give up dude. He's an Atheist. You're religious. Now what makes you think that you can just ASK ASK ASK about what he believes in."have you ever felt a sense of needing forgiveness from a creator;God." Obviously not SINCE HE IS AN ATHEIST. I don't get what you don't understand. I realize this video is from a while ago, but why do you keep intending to question atheists? Hmm? Because there's no good fulfilling answer that you can give. Just give up.One more thing, I enjoy his videos.
ugh you're too reasonable to be angry at. but that doesn't mean that these questions are good or intelligent questions that are worth even responding to in the slightest
only people who can't forgive themselves, need forgiveness from "something else"..what does it mean to be a human?...what does it mean to be a dog?or a tree for that matter?it's generally the same thing. One energy manifested in a million different forms. We're all one.there is no "god"outside of anything.no creator.energy just is everything.always has been always will be.personal opinon
im so happy i dont believe in invisible peeples in teh skys :D your all failures. wow you just got owned. im so fucking amazing. fuckin owning all you bads.
I think Christians preach to the unbelievers of what Christ has done in their life out of love not out of condemnation and they just want you to have the same experience that they have had. I have found so much peace in my life with Jesus Christ that's why i share with other people my beliefs and that's why many Christians do the same. God Bless.
your sarcasm and cynicism iare obvious, even underneath your thin veil of "peace". to the root, you are just an asshole, who is probably jealous of him
...not do, it gives a sense of achievement just like doing any other enjoyable job well does.
4) I'd like people to remember me as an achiever, and a man that ignored the worst times in bad situations and furthered himself to accomplish respectable goals, and to then take that influence upon themselves.
5) The universe around me is my creator. I hope to one day further my understanding of the world we live in, and pass it on to my children, and my grandchildren.
I don't see why this guy got so many thumbs down. He asked some valid questions.
1) I don't find any part of existence particularly 'beautiful'. Existence is existence to me. I do, however, appreciate it.
2) What -does- it mean to be human? It means, to have derived from the hominidae family, and to exist like any other animal in a less-than-perfect society.
3) To give hope is to feel self-accomplishment. When you realise you have helped someone accomplish something they could otherwise...
i understand that religion makes peoples lives feel important but honestly the truth hurts and u need to open your mind. religion is santa claus for adults. simple. but i guess ur a cool guy kinda
Since when has belief in Santa done you any good but made you think that you're getting presents from someone other than relatives? Look at this; a belief in God puts a sense of hope into the hopeless, a feeling of love into the hated, an emotion of peace in a world where we don't get along. Now TELL ME how that isn't better than getting one extra present on Christmas (:
@MoviesByMiles it also i responsible for almost every single war mankind has ever waged. you ignorant jew. btw u just got not only trolled, but owned. AGAIN. dude, im SICK and TIRED of OWNING you
That's really too bad. He is open to you anytime with open arms and you DENY it. It's non-believers like you who are to fault for those wars, who expect life to be a cakewalk or something. How selfish of you to think that just because something is out of sight means it's not real. Tell me, if you have loved someone before, you know that it is merely an emotion, concealed from the eyes, yet we see it, touch it, hear it, smell it, and even taste it if our eyes remain open

God should not provide the forgiveness free of works that many Protestants say that he provides. If you have a chance for giving people their just desserts, you should punish the wicked, with an amount of time and punishment to fit the crime, not infinite time of great pain. He should not consider faith, because outside of what it would do to help you get into heaven, it's application in the world can justify anything from benevolence to terrorism. The atheist per capita prison population has...
MacabreManifesto 11 months ago
@MacabreManifesto ...been shown to be much lower than the free population, which suggests, to me, that faith is better at inspiring bad things. Or, at least, a clean slate mentality, in that: I will try to have fun at other peoples expense and if I get caught then I get away with it because Jesus is in my heart. faith also holds people to an old objective standard of morality: Gays are wrong. Christians (as far as I have seen) start with the assumption that the bible's negative attitude...
MacabreManifesto 11 months ago
@MacabreManifesto ...toward homosexuality is true, and try to build an argument from there, rather than asking: Is homosexuality good bad or neither, should homosexuals have the right to marry, etc. And then consider all relevant points. I do not like to think that law is being decided by blue opinion.

Does God know you exist?
God is often angry with us, because with all the technology, science, money, power and medicine we have, there is still so much suffering in this world.
I guess that is a lot of the reason why he has lost so much faith in humanity.
You said "too bad there is no god", ever think God says, "too bad there is no humanity."

classicrockrockz 1 year ago
Why the fuck all religious people think that there should be a meaning in our lives... What the fuck makes us so important? I'm just one guy among 6 billion people living on a planet orbiting a star, there are billions of stars in our galaxy, and there are billions of of galaxies in the universe? So yeah, you're insignificant, i'm insignificant, we're all insignificant...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311
Phage0070 1 year ago
@Phage0070 The bits have a function, that's not the same with meaning... We have a function too, It is to ensure the the continuity of our species... As for meaning, we choose it, doesn't mean it's going to hold any significance.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311
Phage0070 1 year ago
@Phage0070 That was my point is if understood correctly. we create our purpose and no matter big or small our purpose in life is we're still insignificant compared to the universe... Look at it this way, if half of earth's population is wiped out that would be a very significant event in human history, but what is earth, just one planet among trillions. If the Sun dies, so what, it's one star among billions. Compared to the universe we're all insignificant, you can't deny that.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311
Phage0070 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 You are not insignificant if God loves you. For then you have a purpose, eternal love.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 But god probably doesn't exist...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Oh hey, sorry about that, I stepped away from the comp and what a quick response you gave.
Must have just caught you online, hope I didn't miss you.
How can God not exist? We exist, whatever our understanding of God might be.
Lots of people want to claim that throne he sits on you know, he is misrepresented all the time.
You can talk to God and he will answer, you can pray to God and you will see him.
Fasting, abstinence and prayer, ask for Jesus and you and he will answer.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 But why do you think that there must have been a creator? The only argument theists have against atheists is that something can't come out of nothing, therefore there must have been a creator, a god. But i say this: who created god? If you say he was always there that means that he was never created which a contradiction to the previous statement that something can't come out of nothing . There doesn't have to be a god. Oh, and i was a muslim before i became an atheist so...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 When a farmer wants to clear his field of weeds and start a new crop stronger than the last, he sends his workers into the current field to bring out what good crops is in there. Then he burns the field, destroying the weeds and starts a new one. That is what God is doing with this world.
We are those crops, do the crops ever know the origin of the farmer?
God expects us to love and admire him for what is good in the world, charity, faith, love, etc... Those are our fruits.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 So wait, are you saying god is using us for his selfish goals, because that's what we are doing to the crops... I didn't understand but nevermind. I want to know why do you believe in a god? Is it blind faith, the concept that there MUST be something after life and something beyond our 'realm of understanding'...
We are just one planet among billions, the sun is one star among billions, and there are billions of galaxies. Why do you (we) think you are so important?
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Its about love though. God simply has us as a form of amusement, I guess is a way of looking at it.
He likes for us to explore the universe and understand things. Says so in The Bible, he gave Adam the job to name the animals, and to this day we are still finding more animals and naming them, and it will always be that way.
That's why the crops example I used is just a way to look at it. Refering to the way God will take of a certain problem that we are having down here on Earth.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Soz, you asked why I believe in God, and I went off track. A title that God has and he is proud of is The Father of the Fatherless, my father died before I was born, I am a fatherless. Some say I am delusional, I follow the voice in my mind through my heart and find God, all the way to him. He is as real to me as any person I have met in this world, more so really.
That's not a sign of true faith though, God prefers people to believe in him with as little interaction as possible.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Plenty of time to be close with God on a more personal way in the next life.
This is a life of repenting and suffering, to not be the weeds that get left behind, but instead the fruit bearing good plants tht get tooken up into heaven and avoid the fire and get replanted in the new garden.
You can pray to Jesus Christ and be saved.
Takes a few days for the message to get through, he's not the one who is reluctant, it us who rebelled initialy against him. Reprove our love for him.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Jesus Christ was schizophrenic... He heard voices, had battles with invisible forces. This is not a life of repenting, there is no afterlife. What you see is what you get, so i suggest you start living your life to the fullest and die a satisfied man, a man who didn't bow down to an invisible creature, a free thinker, aware of the reality of the world.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 He is only invisible to those who can not see him.
Our relationship with God is based on our most truest inner character.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 No, he is invisible to everyone, no one has ever seen him, because he doesn't exist.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 You are presuming? When you said "no one has ever seen him". How do you know this? You are saying what all other people see, have seen?
That is simply not the case. He is only invisible to some people. Just as he is not invisible to all people.
He is not invisible to me. He does not have to be "invisible" to you.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 No one has seen him but people have talked to him, you know the schizophrenics...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Stronger is the faith where you do not have to see or hear him to believe enough to repent.
Still, as long as you are alive it is not to late, you can see him, talk with him, interact with him, all that.
It's no more being schizophrenic than anyone else.
There are plenty of schizos who do not have any relation with God, and plenty of people who are not schizo who have wonderful relationships with their creator.
Insanity is just a matter of opinion anyways.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Really, just because some people don't believe in god they aren't humane? Do you know that only 0.25% of the prison population in the US are atheists? Also neighborhoods with higher atheist population have significantly lower crime rates. I don't need a book to tell me what's right and wrong, besides if god (if he exists) sends me to hell just because i didn't believe in him, despite me being a good man throughout my life then i don't want to have anything with that kind of tyrant.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Saying you don't believe in God because you don't like "his values" is not really not believing in him. It's just disagreeing with him, as you misunderstand him to be, sounds more like you dislike his adversary, The Devil, anyways. Good versus evil you know.
About the athiest's population in prison, the people in prison are the ones who get caught.
People in prison, do you mean the gang members and thieves, drug pushers and murderers? With the evil looking tatoos? Christians?
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 The abrahmic god (islam, christianity and judaism) is a tyrant, he "tests" people for fun, sends people to roast in hell and so on... If he does exist fuck him i denounce him, i do not want to have anything to do with him... But he doesn't exist, people have been believing in him for 2000 years without any sort of proof. Even if there is a deity that created everything (highly doubt it) he certainly isn't your god, the one who answers your prayers and "controls the earth"...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 "Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then He is not omnipotent. Is He able, but not willing? Then He is malevolent. Is He both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is He neither able nor willing? Then why call Him God?"
Think about this quote for a second and try to explain it to yourself...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 We are the unconquerable spirit of man. And the gods should serve us. They should bow to us. Love us, like a dog loves its master.
The Most High God created us in his image for that purpose, but this drove Satan into a fit of jealousy who rebelled. He will not submit. So here is a Hell.
Jesus loves us that way, as both God and man. He was a man amongst us and showed us God's love. God is both willing and able to prevent evil, we are not, and that is the ugly truth.
What is life?
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Then what is god? We are. We created him. You said yourself "we are not able to prevent evil"... If god is both willing and able to prevent evil and we are not that means he holds no power over us. This is claimed by you, others would claim he is almighty and holds power over all of us... You see, these kind of contradiction made me give up religion... Besides religion is purely and utterly geographical, if you were born in Arabia you would claim Mohammad loves us all not Jesus...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 We are not The Most High God, but we are created by him in his image. We share his power. The other "gods" refused to "worship" him through us.
We as the human race are at with war with those other gods. A spiritual war.
They play on our sense of pride, lust, etc... A very formidable tactic.
Jesus Christ is both man and The Most High God, he both serves and is to be served.
I am not Arabian, I am the son of my father, who was the son of his father. I am simply an American.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 My point exactly, if you were born in a muslim country you would have preached islam, but you were born in the US where christianity is the predominant religion. I have talked with many muslims and not a single one has claimed that we should serve Jesus, nor did a christian claim that we should serve Mohammed. In other words, pardon me, you're all full of shit. It's like me defending my rapist brother despite the overwhelming evidence, just because he's my brother. hypothetically
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 I was not and could not be born as a Muslim, an impossibility. Some in-betweeners may "convert" from one religion to another, just part of the spiritual war that has been waging since the dawn of man.
I am at war with the gods.
Jesus was part man, and he too, was at war with the gods. He was the mortal being of The Most High God.
Another part of me is I am a fatherless, and God is The Father of the Fatherless.
Religion is my bag.
Turn away from religion? Abandon me. Abandon.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 How sad and empty one must be to feel the need to fill such a void with the concept of God. So limited one's perspective when they claim to know the "truth." The life that is missed while planning for an afterlife that will never come. Shed a tear for all who have died who never had the courage to truly live, knowing that their chance has come and gone. One cannot appreciate the true mystery of this universe if viewed only in the shadow of a god. This is the tragedy of belief.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 quote from user JamesMorlan...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 To me such a statement is leeching off religion like a hypocrite. To gain notice they bang into religion. Nothing new, and from a religious view, Satan did it first.
I know from my own experiences it is the religious who do the most good though.
Athiests don't feed the poor to my knowledge, they just try to take credit for the advancement of science.
It really isn't as impressive to me as you might think.
Athiests will never be able to impress me with "charity". They're empty.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 That's fucking bullshit, you're saying atheist don't do charity? Well i'm living proof that they do, i've given charity plenty times... oh, and who is the biggest philanthropist in the world? Bill Gates, and guess what, he's an atheist... Religion has nothing to do with human goodness. With or without religion good people will continue to do good things, and evil people will continue to do evil things, only with religion good people do evil things...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Bill Gates? Isn't he that guy that copyrighted a lot of software stuff that was already in use and developed by so many other people, made tons of cash and then took that money to other countries and acts like some sort of super-bigshot? From what I understand he is a lot of the reason why America's economy is suffering so badly today. Anyways, being a fatherless (my father died before I was born) growing up America I don't know of him doing anything that is good.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 There is an interview I found concerning Bill Gates' religious views googling "Bill Gates Religion" on The American Veiw
He isn't an anti-religious athiest, more of a disinterested in religion type of person.
Gates: I don’t. I’m not somebody who goes to church on a regular basis. The specific elements of Christianity are not something I’m a huge believer in. There’s a lot of merit in the moral aspects of religion. I think it can have a very, very positive impact.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311
Gates: In terms of doing things I take a fairly scientific approach to why things happen and how they happen. I don’t know if there’s a god or not, but I think religious principles are quite valid.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Don't you see what he did over there, put himself in the middle. He's a businessman these kinds of things can hurt his business. Anyway, maybe Bill was a bad example because he isn't clearly an atheist because he had never clearly expressed his religious orientation for obvious business reasons it is very stupid to connect human goodness with religion, there are good and bad atheists and there are good and bad theists, only difference is that the ratio is a lot worse with theists.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Oh no way. The ratio is not a lot worse with theists. Unless Theists is something different than religious people.
Sorry, but that is very biased.
Wow, dude really, athiests live in the dream world not religious.
Check it out, I want you to decipher the following bible verses for me, please.
They explain the most clearly what religion is.
Tell me what you think of the following quote.
I will have to double post. And thank you for the time youhave spent discussing with me.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 How can you say that atheists live in a dream, sometimes i wonder if you're serious or just trolling. I view the world as it is, i do not claim that i know the truth nor do i believe in an invisible creature... It is the theists who live in a dream and it's time to wake up.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Part One: I enjoy a good conversation, and you are giving me one. These are my true feelings, and the conclusions I have come to. I am not trolling, Wouldn't waste my time just to mess with one person's head, and I believe the same for you, too. I believe you really believe the things you say. As far as athiests go, you are one of th good kind, you aren't overspoken with hate or resentmen, you just feel that religion is an overused way of controlling people, and you are right. That
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Part Two: That is why i posted those specific verses. They pertined to our conversation. The pros and cons of religion. As to say, what it is intended for, and how it is being abused.
You mentioned these points in your last reply; Slavery and murder in The Bible.
Slavery- Moses was a slave who killed an abusive taskmaster that was overbeating another slave. Moses fled from Egypt and stayed in the desert for a time ni hiding. God was impressed with Moses' bravery and blessed him,
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Part three; Moses was a slave that fought back against his oppression and freed his people from slavery.
Murder- There are plenty of murders that take place in The Bible, murderers are always the villain, and usualy punished or are doomed to judgement and with the few that are forgiven it is still seen as an evil act . People quote the concept of war and capitol punishment that is in The Bible and say that is murder being advocated, that is just a matter of opinion.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Part Four;
But mostly I find
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Mostly I find Athiests to be not very serious, filled with hate, insultive, very crude. Most Athiests seem evil to me. But that is ridiculous right? Well, I've had a very hard time in life "getting along" with other Christians. Controlling, wanting to be practicly worshipped, expecting people to bow to their altar, call them Father, that sort of stuff. Hopefuly, we can get past the stereotyping and not blame each other for the actions of others. We both seem to have strong beliefs.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 First of all there are plenty of bible quotes about calling to murder, like burn the cities of the non-believers something something, i don't remember... Second of all, we are not living in a fantasy world, no one has ever claimed to know the absolute truth, it's just that there is no evidence about god and from a logical point of view that "theory" is very absurd, there is proof about black holes, dark matter *continues*...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Life seems like it would be very bleak to lose God.
You brought up the subject of what there is proof of, and mentioned (only) black holes and dark matter. Yeah, there is a black hole in the center of our spiral shaped galaxy. You have spent some time thinking about that?
Some times I wonder if that is the absolute Hell I have heard about, the lake of fire beyond the giant iron door. That the lost godless souls are pulled into at the final end of time. The metaphoric final death.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Pt1 It's not bleak without god, life is much more beautiful without god. I don't feel empty, i think that you do, that's why you need to fill a void with a god. Btw black holes are not hell, they are formed when a big star reaches the end of its life, gets crushed under its own gravity, leaving behind a black hole. Also i find the concept of soul a bit stupid, why would anyone say that emotions and thoughts going inside our brains are souls, there is no soul, it's just the brain.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Pt.2 Do you even know how insignificant we are? We live in a planet orbiting a star, there are hundreds of billions of stars in our galaxy and there are billions of galaxies. So do you really think that black holes are hell prepared for us, humans? I'm a good man, i've done charity, i've helped people do you really think that i deserve to burn with murderers and rapists just because i didn't believe in him, even if i've been a good man my whole life, what kind of a tyrant is that?
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Oh and did i mention that i was a muslim before i became an atheist? So there is no way i would ever ever follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, if i happen to start believing in a god again, i would return to Islam not Christianity, so according to you i'm still fucked, i will still go to hell for it, because i didn't choose the right one. There are 22 big religions in the world and thousands that are smaller, what makes you think you chose the right one?
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Funny thing about "choosing" religion... You never chose christianity, you were born in a christian family, if you were born in muslim family, you would have claimed mohammad is the real deal not jesus...
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Looks like we a got a mini Dawkins here. Just because people are born into a Christian home doesn't make them Christian in the sense of..well actually BEING a Christian. lol you still need to choose it, I'd expect that reasoning from a 6 year old.
GuitarGuy22221 1 year ago
@GuitarGuy22221 Did you choose christianity? no you didn't. if you were born in a muslim family you would have been a muslim, that doesn't mean you choose islam over christianity which was my point. Everyone is born an atheist.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 Everyone is born an atheist? I'm sorry, what? I don't think I knew anything when I was born, seeing I was an infant who didn't know anything about anything.
Terrible reasoning, go read a book.
GuitarGuy22221 1 year ago

GuitarGuy22221 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 "What i meant is that when you're born you don't believe in anything and if no one tells you (brainwashes) throughout life to believe in a god you certainly would not believe in a god"
If that were true, how does that explain people like Francis Collins(Former head of the Human Genome Project)? Who never really gave it a thought until after he became a doctor.
You aren't making any sense.
What makes you an Atheist other than jumping on the bandwagon of the Neo-darwinists?
Nothing.
GuitarGuy22221 1 year ago
@GuitarGuy22221 Atheism is the disbelief of god, nothing more. You are born: you know of no god, no allah, no jesus. Therefore you don't believe in anything because you don't know about that. If no one starts brainwashing you about gods and heaven/hell from an early age you will never believe in them. Therefore everyone is born an atheist.

@Pentagon1311 So you if you don't know about it..you don't believe it? That's a self-contradicting statement. You can't not believe in something if you don't know about it. Why? Because you don't know about it! Rofl this is common understanding in language!
GuitarGuy22221 1 year ago

Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Faith is a belief in something without no proof... I would believe in god if you had proof, why do i "believe" in science? Because it works, because it has proof about everything it says, and everything in it can be disproven, so no i do not have strong beliefs like you because i put logic and reason before blind faith, and trust me it works, my life hasn't changed drastically since i became an atheist, so really you don't need "god" in life, just go out and live it to the fullest.
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@Pentagon1311 That are my thoughts on it, and when and if you become an atheist one day, you will realize the absurdity of religion and why it deserves to be ridiculed..
Pentagon1311 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 So to conclude, you and i are not quite the same, because you have beliefs and i have logic and reason, i don't BELIEVE in science, i see the proof of science and i accept it, if it had no proof i would not have accepted it... that's the difference between atheists and theists... I do not say god does not exist 100%! I say, there is no proof of god whatsoever and the theory of god is very childish, primitive, contradictive and absurd so he most likely (99,9%) does not exist...

James 1: 25-27
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
cyberhobo813 1 year ago
@cyberhobo813 Please stop quoting this bullshit, as it is very flawed. Why don't you quote psalm 137:9
"Happy those who seize you children and smash them against a rock"
Why don't you quote some verse on slavery or murder?
The bible is nothing more than a tool for the smart to control the weak, it has everything in it, one can make people obey, kill and rape in its name. Besides to say god exists because the bible says so is like saying Hogwarts exists because the Harry Poter books say so.

i wanna answer your questions:
1) i find the complexity of life intriguing.
2) there is no meaning in being human.
3) I dont place "hope" in humanity.
4)I dont care what people remember me for or even that they remember me. I'll be dead it wont matter to me.
5)When i was younger yes i did feel like I needed forgiveness from a god. Today I realize that there is no reason to think there is a god so therefore no need to get forgiveness.

But one thing, I find that you always look miserable in your Videos, and TJ always looks happy, if not a bit psycho. If an intelligent person, following God, looks and feels like you do.... I don't know, I don't think you are happy.

I think Christians preach to the unbelievers of what Christ has done in their life out of love not out of condemnation and they just want you to have the same experience that they have had. I have found so much peace in my life with Jesus Christ that's why i share with other people my beliefs and that's why many Christians do the same. God Bless.

The end.
