In Heaven there will be no tears or suffering; no more heartache or disappointment...no darkness. All you have to do is repent of your sin and ask Jesus into your heart. Even if you don't believe quite yet, he will draw closer to you as you draw closer to Him. Find a bible-based church. I grew up the same as you. I believe it to mean that the Lord did not create us to live in this type of world. Eve (by God given free will) changed that for us all. We will one day be in the kind of world ( WITH HIM) that we were designed to be in. Some things, as believers, we just have to accept and live this life walking as closely to Him as we can.

@gagrl61 A lot of people blame Eve for sin. They aren't reading their bible correctly. It was through Adam that sin entered humanity. Eve was deceived but Adam deliberately sinned, because he was afraid to trust God had a solution, and out of his great love for Eve. One day, we will be in heaven with him, there will be no male and female, no dominant or submissive gender, but we will all be His. I thinkthat is wonderful.
