John Lydon didn't hate just Siouxsie, he hates anyone but himself. It was quite fun and interesting to hate anything in 76, not now. He is another one of these musicians that have become a parody of themselves.
John Lydon has never liked Siouxsie, he thought she was an annoying wannabe but oh well. This video isn't about him and I love him even though he has a different point of view about her. Anyway, can someone sweet please upload the whole clip of The Punk Years - Typical Girls? would make me so happy!
Steve? turn your backs? had nothing to say to anyone? you don't know your fans? you wouldn't be on stage with out your fans..and Rotten...so jealous...where are both of you now....
I thought the Banshees' progression from sheer punk to goth pop was brilliant. I don't think of it as a parody. The Banshees were one of the best bands of the last thirty years.
Johnny Rotten is a fine one to be commentiing on the Banshees covering Dear Prudence. Someone who does a fucking butter commercial ought to stay silent.
@cosmo97 How is he a sellout, he hasn't even recorded in over like 10 years, and the most recent things he's done is reform two fantastic bands. Just because he has money doesn't make him a sellout.
HA! John Lydon saying what kind of punks are they for doing a Beatles song; what kind of punk does that make him if he's in a fucking advert for butter??
Oh what do they know? The Banshees made loads of wonderful and distinctive music from beginning to end and frankly their little Beatles cover was a hell of a lot better than anything the Pistols did.
Lydon is always contrary, just for the sake of being contrary.

Rolling with laughter from brian james clip - the damned would be fortunate to be called - at least - one dimensional. Too funny!

Honey, the Banshees are far superior to the Sex Pistols.
Lydon also has trashed Courtney Love numerous times and you're a fan...
He just doesn't get either of them.
Shame, Siouxsie and Courtney Love are great.@NathalieVicious
