@Overdoable I never said that, lol. I said that if you just don't feel that you like something, that's it, you just don't like it, you don't have to feel guilty or stupid or something or that you HAVE to like it cause everybody does... the thing is that is OK if you like or don't like Björk, good for you, it's your world.
bjork & tom doing a great west side story meets the sound of music meets chitty chitty bang bang meets walt disney...I've seen & I heard...I hope they hooked-up cuz it kind suck...I love'em both but its like I ordered a bad meal - check please!
i could never bring myself into bjork but i am a huge radiohead fan...
i don't know, i do like the experimental stuff thom does too but maybe i guess bjork is just something else for me... it's weird, i figured i would be into bjork or eventually start liking her but it's not just ticking. :/ however i think this song is beautiful, their voices are just perfect. perfection.
I will never be mad at someone because he doesn't like Björk. But it doesn't mean I understand how that's possible. I'm only 18 years old and I fell in love with her when I was like 7. She's magical, she put a spell on me because everytime I hear her voice I simply melt from the inside
I think, just, that björk is not for u, it's something that u have to feel. The thing with me is that I love some of her songs and I even cry with them, but with others I feel nothing, but I like them. And it's ok, I wouldn't give u a thumb down.
My brother showed me her when I was in the 8th grade, which was about 8 years ago now. He also showed me Radiohead and I hated them back then too, but somewhere towards the end of high school i started listening to Radiohead and it just all made sense, and turned out to be some of the most beautiful music i've ever heard. A lot of people compare the uniqueness of sound between Thom and Bjork, and I just want to find that missing part so I can understand it too.

you cry with her songs?
you guys are making too big of a deal out of music like its some magical art form bigger then life, but really you are just building a WALL between you and human connection, which is the special thing. (special Thanks to pink Floyd)
You're so wrong. some people are more sensitive than others, that I cry with music doesn't mean that I don't have human conection, it's just that I feel things in a diferent and stronger way and it makes life more enjoyable. I'm so sorry that you thing that way, that makes me think that you are an embittered person.
I understand you, i cried when i heard this song for the first time cause its so beautiful and it was right in a situation where i did need a song like this. And it's true, some people are just more sensitive, not only on music, i also cry sometimes when i read a beautiful proverb in a book, or just even when i see a rainbow over a lake besides the mountains.
try to enlighten me you hippie bastard, because the motherfucking head Floyd that came up with the album concept said that the wall was a wall betwwen him and the fans that was started when he spit on one. He said this on the wall movie special features. dont call me a dumbass
@dkaroun your retarded, pink floyd are over-rated losers. if you dont cry to the music you like then its just a fucking commodity to you. to us musicians it IS a magical art form bigger than life.. fucking noob
Don't sweat it... Bjork is VERY "different" and unusual, and even for someone who loves that kind of music and has great taste in music, I can definitely see how you could not like her, or at least take a while to come to like her. Just listen to a variety of her music, from different albums and periods, and you might like some of it. If not, that's perfectly understandable. I love most of her stuff that I've heard, but it took me a while too, and some of her songs I just don't like....
Really good question Coople, My input - Im bipolar and have a complex personality, sometimes great sometimes difficult and I get bored easily - bjork is the ONLY musician which hits my heart, personality and understanding. its her quirkiness that I love - Its ACTUALLY the reasons why people hate about her, that I love the most - we are far from perfect and she's not afraid to be different - it shows that us quirky people can be really cool people.
@Coople Yeah it's no character flaw - just because you love pizza doesn't mean you will love stromboli. Wow - let's chalk that up as the worst analogy of all time and move on shall we?
@Coople i know this is a bit late but thunbs up your comment shows real intelligence and not some sudo cleverness that ppl display when thet dont really dont understand
@Coople, damn two years ago is a long time to reply but i'm only here for thom yorke, it's not a bad thing to not be into Bjork. i like her together with Tricky on the nearly god album but that's about it. it's like those people who are really into liza minelli. i'll never be into Bjork or liza but they got a following and maybe i'll never understand why liza is so great to some people, but i can see what people like in Bjork, i'm just not a fan.

I love songs with a story/conversation to follow throughout, I'm finding this one to be a bit charming.
Biggest problem: Bjork almost swallows Thom's voice up the entire song. Audio levels are slightly off, it seems.

Im probably going to get a million thumbs down.
but I have been trying to listen to bjork forever now, and I don't dislike her music, but I can't get into it for some reason.
Radiohead is my favorite band in the world.
i think something is just wrong with me, but im seriously trying to get into her music. I just want to feel what everyone else does.
I know she has a unique sound, but I don't know if its "good" to me.
hellllp meeee understand!!!!
