@shadowmattp Also called a "Drone Cone", it's a tuned membrane, like a woofer without a motor (voice coil & magnet) which resonates by the energy inside the box from the rear of the woofer, lowering box impedance which helps add lower bass response, like a port, but offers a wider frequency band than a port without mach noise.

@vasquezisaiah45 a passive radiator is basically a woofer minus the motor structure... just a basket and cone.... it uses the force of the woofer to basically make more bass with no power.

I'm not against the "overkill"aspect at all, but don't you think that 8' is too tall? Couldn't you get an equally badass tower with 1 sub and the same number of woofers and tweeters, but in a single 5 ft tall tower that's easier to move around?

Can that lift hold the caddy? I mean it aparantley can, its just i was always taught to put the lift down no matter what when your done cuzz the hydros have a big chance of failing. Not trying to be a douche or tell you what to do. Just sayin it would worry the hell outta me, i had a 91 caddy eldo. and i had it on a lift for prolly 2 hours and all the sudden BAM! thing dropped. Luckily it was only like 3 ft high but still. thanks man.

most good lifts have a mechanical lock so that they physically dont put the load on the hydraulics. these could be different but i know the ones my mechanics use lock
