  • Made in the USA is nice when it is quality stuff, unfortunately the majority of the time it's no very well made stuff that's HIGHLY overpriced. This tarp seems to be a good one though

  • @drtisbeter It is very well made. It is a bit high in price. I feel that since it can be a tent, tarp, and used as blanket cover, it is worth the money. I also want to say it is HEAVY. Thanks for watching.

  • Hate to break it to you Rich, but the "English" basher you wanted to get isn't made in the U.S., which is so important to you.

  • @solobackpacking Yeah....thought there might be a company that makes them here...

Oh well.. I'll go with something else. Im looking at a Etowah tarp.

  • @RichTheRidgeHunter

English basher is simply another word for tarp used by the British military.

You know how proud these Europeans can be.

"Italian Wool" , "European Down" .

  • I'm 99.9% sure they are made by Frost River in Minnesota. They are amazing!

NW Woodsman is a really nice guy too!!

  • @NWBushman Its a great tarp. I have used it alot . Holding up really well.

  • Nice looking tarp great review I am eventually going to get something that I can use a pack stove in for winter base camping

  • Nice! My son Alex wants one of these now!

  • Rich fine tent/tarp, solid construction and heavy made.

bro you have one fine shelter, 5/5*, will chk out nis site.

    thanks,---JC

  • It has been treated for fire and water. Canvas will not be waterproof till it is rubberized. So it will shed water but if water pools on it the tarp, it will drip through. The idea is to keep the tarp at an angle. Canvas has to be aired and has to be dry before putting away or it will rot. Where did you store your teepee over winter?

  • I like it :) Is it waterproof? We sewed our own teepee used it for a year and tried to keep it waterproof but it ended up molding over winter.

  • @soarntam You have to make sure canvas tipis are totally dry and kept that way in storage. I know 1 man who has destroyed 2 of yhem by not following this simple rule

  • @MrStonehopper Yes, we were in the middle of a move, it was put away dry, but the heavy humidity in MO got to it. We'll make another as we really enjoyed ours. All the best to you!

  • It is nice looking. Now we have to test it in real use. Then I will give a better review.

  • beautiful tent.

  • Well check out there site! They have lighter tarps! And different setups! They also carry some really cool stuff.

  • That is nice and it looks like it will last. I would love one of those for my bug out vehicle, or popup trailer. I have a bad back so i could never carry it. nice review. 5*'s
