If U could, like I kindly wish to go back in time And ... to... THE LAST TEN YEAR! LOOK AT THE HILLS WE CLIMB... WE LOST...; ...;....; AND WE EVEN LOST SUPERMAN. COME SPEND US HALLELUYAH U THAT'S STILL NEAR!
As a 15 year old girl, I apologize for what my generation has done to music. The "Oldies" are the Best Music i have ever listened to , From the 90's and back has the best music ever heard was made.
when ever I hear this song, It makes me just about cry cause we have lost a lot. Also we are going to loose even more if we keep on going about things the way we are, this song just explains everything if you really think about it.
I think they should do an updated version of this song, because within the last five years (or whenever this song was released), we've seen the election of the first African-American president, as well as the deaths of the Crocodile Hunter and the King of Pop.
@happylalaland In 1995 Reeve became a quadriplegic after being thrown from a horse, 9 years later he had a bad reaction to antibiotics, and subsequently went into cardiac arrest. His doctor, believed that it was an adverse reaction to that antibiotic that caused his death.
I think this has to be the best dam song I have heard in probably the last 10 years.. I you are right "mabutoo" in everything you said above :) "14bodify" yes everyone needs to hear this song! :)
This is one of my favorite Kenny songs. The video was so enjoyable. Thank you
I know how much work they are because I do videos for family. Everyone should see this, as we have lost sight of what is happening in our world. I think we first all need to support the man who is trying to better things, and not be so critical of everything he does. Not trying to make this a political thing, but dam we are a mess!
my brother lost a good friend in 2005 he will be missed by lots of people he was a good person and everyone that knew him always called him "superman" this song brought tears fast at that part kenny is one of the best singers in country music and has always been one of my favorites
sit back and think- yes- this is one of the greatest undiscovered poems eve. Kenny did this earlier with twenty years ago!
Last week- I listened to Cant unlove you as i threw away a lifetime of memories.
When are we going to recognize this man for his lifetime achievements? Islands in the stream never stopped the gambler because she believed in me down to work down at the factory just to be crazy and strive not to want to be a coward in the county.
It's true, the period of 1996-2006 brought about many changes in our culture. We lost Walter Matthau in 2000, Waylon Jennings, Ray Charles, and June and Johnny Cash in 2003, Ronald Reagan in 2004, Gerald Ford in 2005, and Christopher Reeve in 2006. All of these people effected us in some way. Matthau and Reeves were a famous actors, Reagan and Ford were U.S. Presidents, and Jennings, Charles and the Cashes were musical icons. RIP to all them, and thanks Kenny for using this song to honor them.
all i can say is that this song is a part of history thats written itself for the next generation so i had to admit it has become one of the song that i admired
Remember playing this on the radio a while ago , just loved this version of the song, just take a moment., and reflect on what else has happen in your last ten years.
i still get chills when i see the towers falling either on the news or w/e.. and old friends eps. I was just at ground zero the other day... its so weird
