Simply the best. I watched, I remembered. I cried. I watched again. I then cried some more. A true friend recognizes the value of the friendship and holds it sacred. I will never ever forget my friend.
Now I put it together - RedToy98 - Shouldn't it now be RedToy09!
You're "Simply the best" and your friendship has taught me the meaning of compassion for our fellow man! You are a man of honor and have much to be proud of.
May your days be filled with happiness and fond memories of a friend who truly loved you.
Thanks for sharing this video of your travels! I did laugh when I saw the sign that said 3 lanes closed ahead.... I sent the link to Dave Glaser also. What does the 143 at the end represent?
I am so sorry to hear that your brother passed away. We need to continue to get teh word out about ALS and hope that some day they find a cure for this horrible disease.
Well Sweet Ann, you have done it again...combined images, words, and music that truly touch the heart. Wow!!!! Let me wipe away a few tears, so I can continue typing. What a beautiful tribute to the JOURNEY (the physical and emotional ones) that one willingly makes for those we love! Thank you for allowing me to ride with you and Elizabeth (Betsy) for a few minutes as you traversed the concrete rivers to be with and care for your brother Jim.
Thanks Ann for making this beautiful video of the weekly NJ to Maryland 'concrete river' trips to see Jimmy. I will remember each cloud, raindrop, sunset, and rainbow. Equally so I will always remember our laughter, tears, deep conversations, silent times, and the amazing moments on the road that always somehow reminded us that we were never alone. Much love, Betsy
I remember you telling me about this beautiful song as we were sitting by Jim's bedside just a bit more than a week ago. Little did I think then I'd hear it the first time honoring Jim's passing. I am so proud of what you created with it. It's so moving and I knew then you would do something wonderful with it. You exceeded my expectations. Thank you for these beautiful videos that give us all such a lovely way of remembering our brave ,and loving brother Jim.You have a gift. Noreen 143
Thank you so very much for your kind words. Please know that the lyrics are from David Glaser and the song was performed at the final concert of Lowen & Navarro & Friends at the Ram's Head in Annapolis, MD. It is truly a beautiful song!

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Well done; your brother is now safely home.
How poetic are the lyrics of Lowen & Navarro; I can see how they gave you comfort as I hang onto every note. Eric is in our prayers, too.

How beautiful! I am sure your brother is now "the angel on you shoulder".
Let's all work together to find a cure for ALS so no other families have to travel these "concrete rivers".
Eric, you and your family are in my prayers! Keep fighting, stay strong, never give up, and thanks for the music.
