Thankyou have given me the courage to build one myself... when you put up the walls on the second story.. I noticed that you put a layer of wood (maybe 16" deep) at the top of the wall.. what is that for? Also, are your first floor walls 10'? What size wood is used for the floor on the second story? I can't wait to get started on my garage... thanks again.. Greg
Total time was about 2 1/2 months. There was a long wait for the custom order siding. I did all the wiring myself. 16x24 with concrete floor and vinyl siding was around $15k.
