  • Owner: Be nice to the baby

    Dog: (licks)

    Owner: Okay stop licking her

    Dog: What now? ._.

  • awww, she reminds me of my rottie (RIP Chiquita :( ), they are both gentle sweethearts

  • I love rotties. Yours seems well trained.

  • cool i wish my dog was like that

  • I have a rottie. These dogs seriously become huge teddy bears if you raise them right. Mines all muscle with a huge jaw but it wouldn't hurt anybody. It avoids any fights with dogs and is super nice to everybody. My dog got loose once and we found it playing with a bunch of kids in someones yard. As a matter of fact mines such a big baby shes scared of cats.

  • @JohnnyBoyCali That's so cute ^_^ I wanna meet your dog now lol XD

  • @JohnnyBoyCali you have just described my 2 rotties, eveyone gives them such a bad name.

  • Is the dog still alive??

  • awww what a good boy :D

  • thats funny when the dog licks the baby, kinda leaves saliva on the babyas clothing, and we can tell in your voice as you say "No!"" that you were laughing too...i love this

  • Licking is what dogs do :) Its how they read you. Thats why you should actually allow dogs to lick your face.

But this is adorable. Dogs are amazing :D

  • I dont think the dog knows what "stop licking her" means.....

  • Doggieslobber is good for youre baby :)

  • That's qute =D

  • YEAH I KNOW....DOG LICKS BABY.....OWNER SAYS STOP LICKING......DOG IS LIKE "HUH?? IM CONFUSED...I THOUGHT I WAS BEING NICE" HAHAHAH

A COUPLE LICKS TO THE FACE WONT HURT LADY

  • are u sure the dog is 11 years? i havent heard of a rott living past 9

  • he is secretly licking off all the baby food off the baby's face :P so cute when you tell him to be nice, instant puppy eyes lol

  • The Rottweiler drooled on the baby. xD nice.....lolz

  • Rott: "What?!?! YOu said be nice. This is me being nice!!!" XD Rotties FTW

  • Wow, I just noticed u said he's 11! So he's an old man playing with your kiddie. LoL. Not a Grumpy Old Man at all! :)

  • When I see parents letting dogs licking their babies... I understand that stupid people still exist on this earth... mamma mia!

  • Jesus, the dog can't lick the baby? The rottie was showing genuine affection with a submissive disposition and understood that it was dealing with a fragile baby. People get paranoid in situations like this and end up chewing out their animals for no reason.

  • @wlmmn I don't think that's the point. Babies are very delicate and they can catch infections very quickly. I think the mom was trying to prevent the doggies slobber from giving the baby anything. And I know, dog's mouth are cleaner than human's mouth, but might as well be cautious. Besides, a parent doesn't want her own baby's slobber on her face, why would she want the dog's?

  • TRETCH! BE NICE TO THE BABY! BE GENTLE! (oh I get to lick the baby) TRETCH QUIT LICKING HER (awwwhh!)

  • aw one you said no he didn't know what to do

  • Aw why won't you let the pup lick your baby? It's a sign of affection!!

  • So maybe you were just lucky? DOGS GET JEALOUS!

  • it's cute

    but 1 day later

    the dog eat the children

and ROTTWEILER is do it again and again

    fuck that shit

  • beautiful video ! i love it !

  • they suck them dogs

  • the dog is like wtf? what can i do with the baby then if i cant lick her. lol

  • control freak parent

  • Awe the babies so cute.

  • at 0:3 the dog is told to be nice at the baby... tell the baby to be nice to the dog he is totaly pinching him at 0:29 yes i saw that!! ;P

  • dog's well trained..looks sad though when he can't lick her.

  • Rotties just love people and are especially loving of children. I'm not saying there are some 'bad apples', but most of those are from 'bad' owners.

  • Its just bull hearing "drama people" for nothing making stands like that. The dogs arent dangerous to the babys. The only thing that can make a dog dangerous,is a bad, violent owner. I could tell at once,he just wanted to "kiss her",embrace her,the dogs dont understand that it can cause trouble for such a young human baby. Loved watching it,adorable :)

  • that poor dog probably can't lick it's own balls without getting yelled at

  • hahahahahahahahaha my name is peyton... lmfao

  • hehe... be nice and you say no? bitch, hehe

    beautiful creatures the rottweilers :-)

  • lmao lick lick

  • rotts are fat

  • I like how she's like "quit licking the baby" and "be nice" when he's being extremely caring for him, licking is showing care for him, so i don't see how licking him is "not being nice"

  • @FleshMan7063 , Licking is being unsanitary! Surely you know where their tongues have been. My word, Mate! Have some sense about you!

  • @JetScreamerJr If the dog has had all of its vaccinations, then licking a baby is harm-less, because a lot of the germs in a dog's mouth are species related. The baby is more likely to become sick from another human giving a kiss, then the dog. Although still, letting a dog lick your baby probably isn't recommended.

  • poor dog he only licked the baby, is that so bad?

  • i love the rottis face when he's told no

  • BABY JUST GOT OWNED IN THE FACE! 0:12 XD

  • @TheDarklord0211 wait try 0:10

  • this is bloody!

  • Wait to this 11 yr old rott in 2008 is still alive now in 2010? Wtf lol.

  • How the hell are you going to title it Rottweiler vs. Baby if you wont even let the dog lick her? Crazy!

  • The baby Is sooo cute @ least the dog is nice with her

  • Aww that's so cute , weve recently got a baby rottie (6 week's ) and weve got everyone complaing at us saying it's a stupid idear too have one with our 7 yld son because there nasty visious dog's ... Im glad people put vid's up like this ..bloody prove's it a load of rubbish x

  • @sTeelsGuRL people are stupid about Rotties... Mine looks like a Killer but she is a huge baby... while i would never leave my Little Child around them. in fear of her playing to rough... I know Isabella would never hurt anyone in my family on purpose........ you have to teach them who is the boss...

  • HAHAHAHA I love the way he looks back at you!

  • nice baby

  • so love this, rottie's can be such great dogs!! i miss my rotties. :) cute video!!

  • wow he looks awesome for 11

  • The dogs like "What did I do?"

  • what a sweet dog!!!!!! go check out my little wolf dog howl!!!!!

  • 0:14 ....those are the eyes of " i didnt do it"

  • This is so cute, this is how animals clean, groom and love their babies by licking them!! soooo adorable

  • Sweet rottie! He was being nice, he was licking!

  • stupid bitch....the dog can not read your mind as to not lick the child

  • @c6corvettepatrick lol, u bastard, u said bitch to a woman who posted this video and has a baby, XD.

  • @c6corvettepatrick , ur so right, poor pooch, he doesnt know whether what hes doing to a brat is good or not, what a fukin bitch she is ! With no doubts I would let my dog lick my baby`s face, you can clean its face after , no ? thats the best way to show to dog that baby is a baby and he cant be vicious toward it !

  • they told you to get rid of your 11 year old dog because you were pregnant? that's cold. i'm glad you decided not to.

  • I bet that dog is like "BUT YOU TOLD ME TO BE NICE!" lol while he was trying to lick the baby.

  • lol its licking her face off :P who says every rott is dangerous??

  • Dolcissimi!!!!

  • What a sweet dog! They make adorable siblings! Hee hee!

  • This is beautiful, people do not understand how beneficial the stimulation from a trusted family dog can be for a young child. Of course no dog should ever be left unattended with a child which clearly you are not doing. 11 years old wow! My rottie better make it that long!! Awesome video!

  • Such a great video - great PR for these wonderful dogs! Everyone keeps telling me we'll need to get rid of ours when our baby comes, but we know she's a big baby herself, and very trustworthy. I think it's interesting though how many people feel the need to give advice on these dog videos, like they know something you don't about your own dog...crazy. GREAT video!

  • soo cute :)

he's like "hello baby. i give you kisses"

    adorable/

  • Aww this is soo sweet. I really dont know what people go on about when they say family dogs shouldnt be near babies.

Dogs are wonderfull creatures and really have the capacity to become a member of the family. LOVE IT ! x

  • i love this videos that take down the myth that rottweilers should not be close to babies.. beatiful dog

  • Almost 3 years later and they still share a wonderful realitionship I will try to get a updated video posted soon lol

  • @MRSNITAJONES Do that plz.

  • @MRSNITAJONES haha the dogs like why are u doing this to me look in at the end. xD

  • brilliant video gorgeous baby and rottie credit to the breed .

  • Yeah why are you telling him to be nice to the baby? It couldn't be more obvious to anyone who knows the behaviour of rotties that he is nice. Licking or mouthing is a form of affection. If you are worried about germs make sure you never ever let the child near a shopping trolley, McDonalds doorhandle or playground.

  • Why the heck are you telling a Rottweiler to be nice to the baby? You obviously know nothing about this breed. The last thing a Rottweiler would do is hurt a child.

  • what are you talking about. ANY dog can hurt a child. u know nothing about this particular rott.

  • From this rott to any rott the same rule still applies. The rottweiler is a naturally gentle and loving dog. Once again, the last thing on this rottie's mind is hurting that baby

  • again, any dog can be harmful if its not trained right. it just all comes down to training and how its brought up

  • Beautiful dog! So obediant aswell :-)

  • yes you did good by not listening to your friends or the media for that matter but always be there to supervise the kid with any animal. I own rottweilers and they are the best of dogs that can be.

  • Sorry but your friends are ignorant. Get rid of the dog when you were pregnant. Your dog is well behaved and if your freiends could not see that while you wre pregnant then they are blind. If my friends said that I would get rid of them ! Because I im serious about dogs! I LOVE THEM! your friends are brainwashed by the stupid news and crap that they see on tv. stupid media.

  • nice rotti, there are many clips of rottis playing with babies, I hope it helps to show that rottis are not inherent vicious

  • hez not gunna eat her. theyre bonding and socializing. the more he gets to love her, he'll be protective of her maybe when shes ever left home alone(older in life) and someone breaks in, he'll protect her. my friends stepdad who tried to remove her baby sister from where she was sitting, snuck up on her and she cried, then her doberman barked at him and refused to let him pick her up for a wile-true story i swear i was there. when dogs bond and love they get protective and make good guard dogs!!

  • It's OK to let the doggie lick the baby... it's a good bonding session !!

    Sweet rottie :-)

  • 11 yrs old rotty?! Mine only lived until he was 8 but thats becuz he was getting really sick :( but how long is the life span of most rotties anyway?

  • Their life span is generally from 9-12 years old.

  • 9-12 year is what they say but others will tell you if you make it passed 8 years with them count your blessings. Our first lived to 9.5 she developed thyroid cancer.

  • 9-12 years. But there have been reports of dogs living longer than that. My oldest Rottie was 16

  • This is so sweet! I love rottweilers so much. What a gorgeous dog :-)

  • hahah poor puppiy's face when he gets scolded. :)

  • Love the dog he is gorgeus a fab dog simply so beautiful :)

  • How retarded are you? Did you not notice the dog listens to commands. This dog has been through more obediance than you could ever imagine. You have to socialize a dog to your children if they are going to live in the same house dumbass. Do you know anything about dog training? Obviously this dog and child were not left unattended and never are....so shut your freakin mouth!

  • isn't the licking a sign of kindness with dogs?

  • Licking and gentle biting is, but think about where a dog's mouth has been... I wouldn't want a dog licking my baby all over its face and mouth either lol.

  • I LOVE ROTTS!!!!!

  • Why can't he like the baby? That's all he has =[

  • Quite the battle of wits.

  • when i was growing up my mom had this really big rottie and everyone said "what are you going to do now that ur baby is out with rahja?(the rottie)" and when i was born she never left my side. when i slept shes slept next to me when i went in the water shes wouyld circle me when i went too far out shed pull me in then she died right in my lap a few years ago R.I.P Rahja. now i got a new puppie his name is Thor and he is a wild little pitbull about 1 year and a month so yeah and let the dog lik

  • glad to see you kept your dog :D you seem to have socialised your rotti well. never listen to the people who tell you to get rid of your dogs they are usually ppl who only know what the news tells them :D

  • How cute!! What a sweet baby AND Rottie!!! This video should be the example most people need to see to prove that rotties are wonderful family dogs! :o)

  • On the one hand you put the baby with the dog and on the other you don't want the dog to lick it. What'll it be?

  • It's good that dog licks the kid..

Dogs mouth is much cleaner then humans..

So he will have good immune system when he is around dog..

  • Mixing spit with a canine that licks it's but and it's wounds DOES NOT mean if it sticks it's tongue in your mouth that you receive it's "healing properties" or "nutrients"...

YES the dog is licking out of affection, but a dog's mouth is in contact with more gross things than ours.(i.e butthole, other dog's butthole that could be sick, trash) We have bacteria in our mouths to break down bad bacteria. I'm not saying dogs aren't clean but there are things you'd rather not know.

  • *sigh

Really! wow! i never knew that. Thanks teenager.

    I wasn't saying don't stop the dog?

    LOL

  • whenn u told the dog not to lick the baby he looked back like why.... :(

  • i know right? he's like but,but whyyyyyyy? just let me be

  • love this video!! have two rotties and a baby on the way can't wait to see them together

  • careful! that rottie might lick your baby to death! beautiful dog! He sets a good example for all rotties!

  • day umm let him lick her it won't do any harm duh :-0

  • What a loveable Rottie! Look how much he luvs her! Just wish my rottie were as affectionate..

  • "Be nice to the baby."

Newsflash, a dog giving someone kisses is perfectly harmless.

  • aw i have three rotties... being lick by a rotti if one of those joys of my everyday life XD.... visits dont appreciate it as much though

  • Well tell your visitors to get used to it. LOL!

  • Aww, that is so cute.

  • He was being nice... that's what they do to their babies is lick.

  • What a sweet dog and beautiful baby!

  • its okay to let her lick the baby..... their saliva has antibacterials and healing properties

  • Come on mom, I just wanna kiss the baby!!!!!
