  • If you have a m16 RIFLE, can you replace with adjustable buttstock?

I think the tube and the spring is a problem because I think the RIFLE must used the bigger spring (tube too of course), if you change then the small tube and small spring not STRONG enough for the rifle. OK to change for a Carbine (M4 model)

  • @CharlieDoan It would most likely use a mil-spec buffer tube, so just choose your replacement stock accordingly and it will work.

  • Ron Paul kinda looks like Larry...

Maybe they are the same person :O

  • what stock is that at 0:10 at the top right corner?

  • @airsoftrevolution That stock is a discontinued Bell and Carlson Thumbhole our product number 217096. • Are there a wood buttstock and handguard for the AR-15?

  • @dasdew2 There are a few companies that manufacture laminate stocks for the AR-15 however we do not carry any at this time. • you can have it just the way you like it

except NY and CA, we hate our people

  • You do not know what you are talking about.

1.there are variants of buffer tubes.

    2. Not all parts are replaceable. Eg the sear block. And you cant replace aluminum front sights on a gas block with polymer gas block sights unless you want your gas block to be covered in molten plastic.

  • @abc123456person Actually you can replace the A frame sight/gasblock with just about any kind of form and function, from the standard A-frame to a dedicated low profile gas block and to the more popular flip up sights/gas block combo. The only polymer front sight that I know of is the Magpul and they don't go on the gas block.

  • I have an M16 A4 with a fixed stock that I want to replace with a Magpul CTR. Will the buffer length matter? or do I have to get a carbine buffer? If so what would you recommend?

  • @Scorpion4646 Carbine buffer tube for collapsible stock.

  • Love this guy! Makes me want to spend money.

  • shit thats easier than what i thought

  • HE NEEDS A SHOW ON DISCOVERY CHANEL!!!

  • what screw did you take out

  • You can have your butt stock any way you like it....LMAO!!!

I opted for the Magpul CTR on my Bushmaster AR-15...baddass!

  • Is the collapsable stock rod (the one that you can put adjustable stocks on) dissasembled the same way?

  • Larry Potterfield is the man.

  • Tactical pegboard.

  • they normally already have collapsible carbine stocks on them but wat u should be upgrading is fully automatic

  • What if you have a collapsible carbine stock, do you need anything extra to install the skeleton stock? Thank

  • Wow...that was retardedly easy...haha

  • ahhh so thats how you do it. Im a noob. thanks!

  • Great Larry, thanks

  • I love my ACE skeleton stock.

  • can you do this if you want to put on a carbine style stock? like there are not extra think need to buy besides the stock?

  • that big one top right looks pretty cool but i can imagin how heavy it is

  • @iamcondescending Actually the thumbhole stock you're describing is actually hollow and often Fiberglass or impact polymer making it just as light as the original stock..

  • Hey I have a question whan I get a real AR15 do I have to take it to a gun smith to work on it or can I put What ever parts I want on it?

  • if you can change a tire on a car than you can work on the ar yourself. but since you are asking this question i suggest you go to a gunsmith and let someone with skill do it for you

  • You can do it all yourself. Just buy a book or do searches at ar15 dotcom.

  • you can do all the work your self if you would like. But if you are not sure how to do the project you are working on i would take it to a gun smith.

  • whats the purpose of the detense spring (not sure on spelling)?

  • It pushes forward on the rear recieverpin to keep that in place once the pin is pushed in.(of course there's a small part between the spring and the pin.)

  • I really enjoyed this Ar-15 series you did

  • Picked that same ACE stock up from you guys a few months ago, it's great. I installed mine without the included recoil pad, though. It's considerably lighter than the A2 stock, and has a number of points for sling attachment.

  • : )

  • thank you sir, these are the kinds of vids i was talkin about.
