Rock extreme 770 t8300 2.4ghz (single) 8800m GTX 512mb running mostly on high with a couple of ultra's thrown in for good measure. Resolution set to 1200 by 900 and msaa x2, smooth as silk but im not gunna push it more than that.
I dont have the 1080p/blu ray version of this Asus.
I have the Asus G73jh-RBBX05....can anyone let me know if I'm still ok with it? I think its awesome, as I'm new to the PC/laptop gaming arena. I have I7 core, 6G of DDR3 ram, ATI 5870 card.
@tibrake Actually I did, it looked like 8bit colors and affected any sunlight and lens flare, also affected the gfwl menu. I was using 11.1 at the time, updated to 11.5 and it was fixed. Sorry this didn't fix it for you, but you could try a clean driver sweep and load up 11.5s again.
Thanks for the compliment and sub. It's an easy sub back, I see I have a lot of things to watch on your channel, looks great.
@Nenyana A fair assumption, but not so much. I feel it is due to the 5870m still have 1GB vram and it's only 1080.
0xAA will bench 29.4AVG 24.58MIN, but 8xAA will be apx 26.85AVG 22.78MIN and it loses fluidity imo. The sad thing is all these following bench runs have at least one cool crash by other drivers right in front of me and the bench I uploaded is boring as hell :)
The AA is def going to affect my QuagsQube at 6010x1080 though.
@NvideaMan808 I don't base my settings at a set FPS number, I go as high as possible while maintaining game fluidity and Dirt 2&3 are unique in this 20s respect. Clearly with a stock clock G73JH, if 35AVG is what you want, then you ;) would need to tuuurn down the settings a BIT.
Of the many options, I can suggest taking Objects, Trees and Vehicle Reflections down to High, and Post Processing down to Medium. That will benchmark at 36AVG with 30MIN.
