The court ruled to protect the child who was not at the age of consent and needed protection form his parents who were shown by the court to be incompatant to care for their child. She became a fugitive from the law and left the father. Since the child has recieved Chemo he is in remision. In this case the Law did it's job and protected a child.

Yes, people do have the right to free speech, protest, and questioning the way this country of ours is run. But let's be real. Governments, no matter what type it is, have a certain authority above the people. They do things according to how they see fit. You may disagree but do you truly believe our government will tell us, its people, every single thing that is does. Of course not. Because in our world, governments are forced to do things that the public would not normally agree to.

I am not saying that we should let the government do as it pleases. But to a certain extent, we should respect what they stand for and what they are trying to do. To go and shout rude and hatred comments at our President and current government is disrespectful. Protesting is one thing but this open hatred is the wrong way to do it. Protesting while fullfilling an emotional need allows people to feel like they are participating in the process however they are accomplishing very little. reasearch the Creel Commision. If you want to effect change dressing up and acting foolsih just givs fodder tot he other side (as it has in this case) However doing nothing and trusting your government to sort things out is even worse. You can not "trust" the government to give back your freedoms once you let them take them away for security.

People in our country do not trust many of the actions being taken by our government and it is their right to say so. But even if we don't agree with what is going on, we still need to show respect. I do think big business owning government should be a bipartisan issue, because even the most stringent supporters of the right wing and conservative ideals should want business to be completely separate from business.

However every president, congress and senate has been owned by big business since at LEAST the time of Reagan. I won't say the presidents are puppets, just that some challenge business more than others. Obama needs to challenge business MORE. Bush embraced selling out.
