Ron Paul is too rightwing for me. He does not believe in the civil rights acts, so he would not get my vote. I like Obama aside from his rightwing foreign policies and his capitalist economic policy that only benefits the rich at the expense of homeowners and poor people.

If Dennis Kucinich had a chance and didn't look so weird, I'd vote for him.

If we wanted to change America to a system that further protects consumers and individuals we could have proper campaign finance reform. No groups of any kind can donate to campaigns. That includes corporation. Only individuals should be allowed that right. That would end the Corporatism.

Ron Paul's and my policies are individualistic. They protect the individual not matter what race color creed or wealth. We all have a right to our property. People help other people by pursuing their own self interest and fulfillment. rich people create jobs its a fact of life. They produce more because of their willingness to take risk. If we were actually following individual ideals this country was founded on with free market principals we wouldn't be in this mess

If you want socialism you should move to Canada. This government was created to protect our liberties. Not waste them away as it had over the past 100 years. That includes "your people" such a disgusting way to put things. Humans are humans. The whole reason we even have governments in to protect those rights. The sole reason. My thing is, I want socialism to be brought to USA, because I think USA is far from perfect on the social safety net front.

I think if we can convince enough people that social welfare is a good thing, we can improve many lives. It can be just simple things like making sure everyone has healthcare, making sure people have jobs.

I'm not an absolutist and have lived under capitalism for many years; I just think socialist welfare can help those who have been left out.

Capitalism has brought more people out of poverty and despair then any other form of system. I noticed you were socialist. I came from a Communist country that collapsed. Then became socialist. Its the system of fail. Its a pipe dream that never works and a bunch of false promises.

I agree that socialism is not for everyone, but socialism and communism are not the same thing.

I do agree that having a binary system is fail, since people will be left out, as they are in Cuba, USA and North Korea, to give three extreme examples of binary systems.

I would much prefer a mixed economy that meets the needs of all citizens.

I don't disagree about free enterprise capitalism but the problem in USA is that we have to provide a much, much stronger social safety net for the people who will be excluded from commercial transactions. Lots of these people are "my people," so to speak.

If you think its capitalism that is wrong. Read Meltdown by Thomas Woods or read Housing Boom and Bust by Thomas Sowell( hes one of your people so to speak) as if that matters. I would listen to MLK he would balk at that. You obviously don't understand what happened to cause the mess.
