  • Ahhh that explains the candles lmao

  • this is fake u probably have another wii playing somewhere else that has sensor and everything plugged in. dumbasses

  • @BustDays it works i have done it and gaming show i watch have done it

  • @BustDays Why don't you try it first, or at least read the comments.

It works. I have tried it, too. It works because the sensor uses an IR beam, which is reproduced by the fire on the candle.

  • @LouisAndPillz you're a retard. your telling me a candle produces the same hightech 'IR beam' that the motion sensor produces? why the fuck would anyone buy the sensor in the first place if you could just do this

  • @BustDays That is the point. The only thing that comes out of buying the "sensor" is that it is safer than using a candle. Why don't you read up first about IR technology first? Plus, it isn't all that high-tech. You can buy one of these separate from Wall Mart for $15, or make your own for around 6-10 dollars. It isn't that expensive. Asshole.

  • @LouisAndPillz lol i love how you threw in asshole at the end.

p.s. im just fucking around here im sure this actually works.

  • @BustDays Ah, well, I am fighting with 3-4 other people for stupid reasons on here, so I threw that in because I was angry. :P

I usually am level-headed and handle things nicely, but the people that I am fighting with are just awful.

  • @BustDays sensor bar comes with tha fucking WII you asshole. this is one of those "if you break it" things to let you know you have a quick fix for it.

  • @ROY0666 well i dont have a wii because theyre for fags

  • @BustDays kids like you can´t appreciate anything. go back to your basement fanboy

  • @koyzish I live on the 24th floor of an apartment not a basement. :)

  • Oh shit,I just bought a sensor bar yesterday...

  • how the fuck is this posable? :S

  • @thewesleymovies The sensor bar puts out a infra-red signal (IR is heat)

  • Comment removed

  • my cat knocked down my sensor bar from the top of my TV yet it still works perfectly, but should I still be worried about it?

  • Zelda Rocks xD

  • i saw it in some gaming tv show :>!

  • crazzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Maybe someone could attatch some strong LEDs to each corner of the screen and the sensitivity would be better?

  • I did it it works!!!!!!!!!

  • TY SMART PEOPLE

  • also there is no triangleation involved the wii remote can act as a pointer device (though it doesnt actually point so much as it does see a reference point and places the point on screen acordingly) and it can sense motion, it can Not triangleate your position within a room.

  • the wii sensor bar is absolutely nothing but an infrared emitter. there is absolutely no data tranfered between the wii and sensor bar at all. it really doesnt sense anything only emits. it has 5 infrared leds at each end as someone else has mentioned. thats all there is to it. sunlight has infrared light in it (even when it is reflected) which is why rooms with lots of windows and sunlight can interfer with your pointer signal. fire emits a very strong infrared signal thats why it works so well

  • you know that u dont even need a candle or annything bec i was moving the wii remote with den i took it out and it was still moving

  • This does actually work. I did it with two tea lights on two pie tins in a sunlit room. Weird thing is, when I blew out the candles, it still worked(candles were removed from the area). Like it was using the reflected light off of the pie tins (possibly infrared from the sunlight?). Finally, I removed the pie tins and then the wiimote stopped working.

  • Why does this work???

  • The Wii-remote has a camera!

This camera must see 2 lights...

The Wii sensor bar has got 10 lights!

I´ve a sony hd camera with nightshot!

With nightshot you can see throw the black windows from the sensor-bar,wii-remote ect.

  • this works because the sensor bar gives off a heat signal which when met with the wii-mote makes a tri-angle. the machine figures out where the remote is by measuring where the tip (wii-mot) of the triangle is

  • the sensor bar is an led (light emitting diode) it emits light not heat!

  • ya my bad

i made that comment a long time ago but i appreciat the correction

  • My friend tried it and the hot wax nearly burned through the plastic on his TV.

  • i was playin the candles went out and i got owned

  • Its tobad you would have to constantly buy candles instead of buying the sensor bar for $15. But if you're sensor bar doesn't work or you don't have it with you and you're desperate to play, its great to use candles.

  • IT works until the candle is done, jk This is awesome *blows out candles*

  • yay it waorks but fuck my tv has wx all around it shit

  • LOL!

  • @megamoy95 get two small plates and put it on top of the tv

  • Dang it! My folks won't let me do the candles!!!!

  • yesteryday, i forgot to brin the sensor bar home, cause my dad owns a gaming store, and we brought home the wii...checked online, maybe candles might do it...put 2 on my tv...and omg it worx

  • I took my Wii to a friend´s house today and when i was leaving, the console fell and pulled the sensor bar cable cutting it. It happened one hour ago. Thanks to this method i won't have to wait until i buy another sensor bar. It's like a blessing

  • dont u need to place them at both sides of ur tv to make it aligned?

  • Yeah,ok its cool but whats the point

  • What would you do if your Sensor bar wire was chewed through by, say, a cat? You can't exactly buy a replacement as far as I've seen. This is a great way to resolve the issue.

  • you can buy them online

  • Its a decent move but I don't really want candles in front of my TV and having to light them or replace them all the time.

  • Well, I'm one of those impatient people that can't wait of few days for a new sensor bar. If I happen to have 2 candles, I'll use 'em. =3

  • it works im doing it now.

  • so does this mean you could use two homebrew-enabled original PSPs to replace a wii sensor bar...?

  • This is true by the way. How odd how it works though. ???¿¿

  • it works because the sensor bar was a duel infared source and the wiimote was an infared reciever which is hooked to the console with bluetooth, the sensor bar just needed the wire for power. so the candels were also just duel infared surces but it is hard t find other sources like them

  • I actually discovered this by accident, I was pointing my wiimote at the ceiling in another room and it rumbled, totally freaked me out. Glad I know the explanation now, lol.

  • for all you who think this is fake im dead serious this works and its pretty awesome. my friend showed me at his house.

  • mmm im going to try it

  • lol its like ur tv burns... AHHHHHHHHHHH~!!@~!@~@~!

  • yeah right

  • You put "nothing special" on one of my good pictures mix , ass hole, just to be a mother fucker. Now it's my turn. Hasta la vista.

  • so you just light to candles adn put it in front of your tv? thats it?

  • yeas cause the wiimote is looking for two light and the candle acts like the lights and the sensor bar needed the cord to power the lights so you can use CANDLES INSTEAD...

  • very cool

  • I cant believe it works

  • i just tried earlier it works

  • i wanna try!

  • hey guys who needs candles when u have the sensor bar just use it who cars its doing nothing wrong. except for causing a fire in the house but thats ok!

  • with fire all around you, u can have an easier time with the wiimote

  • Please, just die. xxxxxx

  • how does this work?

  • yeas cause the wiimote is looking for two light and the candle acts like the lights and the sensor bar needed the cord to power the lights so you can use CANDLES INSTEAD...

  • could you use flashlights

  • Yes, It is a bit dangerous, but if you are careful, you should be ok.

  • Wow, interesting! I'm gonna try this!

  • stop being such a polly prissy pants!!! this is a good idea. in fact, amazing if you think of it.

  • *EXPLANATION*

*post this on every wii sensor bar video so those little N00b137s stop trying to disprove it*

you know the wire on the wii sensor bar, that only provides power to 10 IRLED's in the bar. the IRLED's give out InfaRed light, that the wiimote uses to detirmine the location of the wiimote. candles also give out Infared Light, so therefor work the same. I have tested the Candles,Flash lights, remotes, DIY sensor bar, and N00b137s, al of them worked but the N00b137s

  • SHUT UPvvv ur retarded

  • Lookout EMOS!, NinTENDO is going after you....muahhahaha!

  • Am I the only one but does this guy's voice sounds like one of those narrators for documentaries. I'm not making fun of his voice, I really like it. lol ^_^

  • why not try some flashlight or led? it might work

  • hmm why not try some flashlights? or LED? could it work?

  • wii is better ps3 aint shit

  • Dum Fanboys every system is good in there way Xbox360 has there games ,Playstation 3 has it high dev resoultion (1080p,720p,1080i) and graphics Wii has it's controllers

  • The 360 has a better graphics chip than the ps3.

  • its a graphics CARD not a chip, belive me there is a difference, and no it actually doesny

  • kool

  • thats pretty cool... just tried it with my buddy and it works... if you lose/ break your sensor bar you know wat to do now lol.

  • What utter shit.

  • this vid is ake.

  • How come people like you have this thing with saying every single video is 'fake'? Go watch my video where I'm just sitting there grinning... is that fake, too? Go choke on a cock. =)

  • the wii truly is a poor mans console

  • What does that even mean? You are just a stupid fanboy saying that because it can use candels it is a crappy console that only poor people can get. TOo bad it is probably the best one out there (once the ps3 gets cheaper and everything works, that will change).

So really, take your retarded fanboyism somewhere else.

  • Yes sure, so thats why 1'100.000+ people have bought the console, OH SO THEY ARE POOR!

The wii is the best console right now in the market, and only rich dirty assed people can get the fucking PS3

  • funny, but you know... if I wanted to put 1000$ into gaming, I'd put it into computer hardware. The wii and 360 are diversions, consoles, gaming systems. The ps3 is an atrocity of bad marketing and pricing.

  • How is that. When i buy 3 i don't feel poor at all.

This is just a fix for a problem..Instead of wasting more money just get some candles.

  • LinkSoul, it works because instead of a sensor picking up the Wiimote's movement. Basically what happens is there's a camera inside the wiimote that finds the light sources in the bar (the LEDs) and then calculates it, so the wiimote doesnt ACTUALLY need the sensor bars, these candles do fine.

  • I've done it with two candles it worke but now I'm gonna try 3+ candles just to see what happens

  • Wii rules!

  • amazing :p

  • cool

  • Nice find but what the hell's that gonna get ya? It's like useless trivia, nice to know but useless in real world application.

  • unless your sensor bar breaks, or you want to take your wii over to a friends house and have one less thing to carry.

  • "Oh no! My sensor bar is broken! Whatever shall I do?" Yeah. 'Nuff said.

  • the guy controlling looks like Pedro :D

  • But the sencor bar reads the Wiimote's movements and translates them into the Wii right? How come 2 candles translate the movements to the Wii?

  • the sensor bar just emits infra red light and the wii remote works out its position and location from that. and candle light also emits small ammounts of infra red light.

  • Actually, the sensors are built into the Wii remote. The sensor bar is actually two series of infrared "lights" (Two on either side, spaced thusly: X XXX X) that simply send out an IR signal to the remote, which relays information to the Wii via the Bluetooth connection. Placing TV remotes on the TV does the same thing.

  • ...cool, but did you ever think about IT BURNING DOWN YOUR HOUSE!! OR MELTING PART OF THE TV!!

  • Poor Wii...

  • That's so cool!

  • oh shit hahahaha

  • lo fa pure il la,er gabriel

  • WTF..whats whith the candles...u wana burn the tv?

  • die beiden wurden früher bestimmt oft missbraucht >__>

  • ricoveratevi.

  • SPOILER

  • Friggen sweet

  • its a couple of infared LED's all you need is a bright light source at about the same distance apart as the sensor bar. flashlights, candles... you name it.

  • I doubt a flashlight would work as well as a candle. The fact that a candle is a flame (and therefore, really really hot) means that it emits a lot of IR radiation. Same thing an LED does.

  • Not fake, the sensor bar as we all know is just couple of LED's.

  • MAPPERFAVORENONDIRECAVOLATE!!!!

  • e quindi? ti rendi conto di quanto sei sfigato?

  • haha!!!!

    Fake?

  • nope, check other wii sensor videos and u will be convinced

  • actually this is not fake.... the wii sensor bar is just a IR emitter, just like... ...candles!

  • no its not i tried it and it works
