the 'tent city' inmates are there voluntarily. it's their choice, in a cell, or a tent. most prefer the tents (it keeps them more in touch with the outside world) same with the chain gang. arpaio seeks no security, and he is readily available for conversation with anybody. his home address is no secret. i've met the man, personally, as can anybody. some of you just watch too much t.v.

I made a "wide right hand turn" was completely sober, was taken in as a dui (i was turning out of a trails where i purchased some fuckin incense! took my blood, found thc from like a week before that, so i got a dui, have to do thirty days in the tents, have an interlock for a year, attend alcohol rehab, and pay 5000. I dont drink, haven't since I had my face radiated for cancer treatment 7 years ago, which is why i use pot to begin with..and I have my medical mj card. FUCK THIS STATE & JOE

@bobbybenjamin As far as Arpaio or his constituents are concerned, Arpaio did his job.. If the criminals are another state's problem, that still means they are no longer Maricopa County's problem...isn't that why they elected Arpaio in the first place? To get rid of criminals?
Are you saying that locking criminals up together in (relatively) comfortable settings with luxuries such as television somehow rehabilitates them better than a tent city or voluntary labor which serves the community?
