This is the year that contest was on Saturday after it had rained most of the week and there were two football games on the field that week. The light areas on the field is where someone got the bright idea to spread sand on the field which only made it more muddy. We waited before we came on field for them to remark the yard lines. Several people lost shoes to the mud. I sank two inches standing on the side line at the end.
