I'm sure his idiotic stance meat nothing to most people, especially the dumb masses that are not a part of "élitist" classical music. If he wants to come back, and can still play like this, he'd be happily listened to.
It's a pity that Duchâble made the decision he did back in 2003. It may well have done him harm among his colleagues and a worldwide audience for lovers of great music. That said, this is a marvelous performance of Ricordanza.
