Also, when you play the first Kingdom Hearts game and read Leon's/Squall's profile it says that he's a warrior who has lost his true pride and is seeking some form of redemption and has abandoned his old life, the best way to do that is to get a new name and since Squall's symbol is the Lion. Lion-Leon. Kinda get it?
