i installed bootmii as an ios because boot2 doesn't works for me.but after i nstall it i can't navigate through the menu.The gc controller doesn't works and i heard that you can use the power and the reset button but also doesn't works.What should i do can somebody help me?

Sorry, I Cant do that. Theres private data like my wireless router Ip and WEP Key inside the nand dump, and its easily found with a hex editor. Ive had lots of practice. just look one up on google.
Go into Wii settings and Format your wii. (REMEMBER to format *After* backing up your current state)
After formatting, go make a Nand Dump of Your formatted state. Copy you "NAND.bin" to your computer, name it something like "Clean NAND.bin", copy tour OLD nand.bin (the one thats not formatted) to your SD card, run bootmii, hit RestoreMii and restore your old state. Theres you clean nand.bin.

I have put, boot.elf on the root on an SD, like it said on another video, and when I go to the channel menu for the SD then insert my SD it shows up nothing! Can u help me?
I can't seem to get back to the Bootmii menu. When I first installed it, and re turned on my Wii, I got the Bootmii menu. Then I returned to the Wii System Menu. I turned off then on my Wii with the SD card inserted, and it goes straight to the System menu. How do I get back to the Bootmii screen?
and another question, does bootmii allow you to install ios's such as dvdx? if this is true, then its fully safe to update the wii to any version, right?
so when i install boot mii, will it be the first thing that loads up when i start my wii? or does that only happen when the wii is bricked? sorry people imma newb..
You can boot BootMii from HBC, simply Install BootMii as IOS AND Boot2. Also, In order to have the version of HBC (1.0.2) that boots into BootMii, You need to install it stright from the HackMii Installer, They HAVE NOT PUSHED The update to their servers yet.

yes it does what you can do is backup a nand file which is the wii menu so if it ever bricks then you can restore your wii of the brick

Hey, I have the same but when I click on Homebrew Channel, I get a black screen and I have to switch off the wii. All other menus are fine.
I used Bannerbomb with Bootmii beta 2. I am running 3.1u. Do you know what I have done wrong?

Safe to update to system menu 4.0. If you update and dont have HBC Installed you have to use BannerBomb to install HBC and BootMii and DVDx.
The HackMii Installer has everything you need.
Downgrading is risky though! Be careful or you'll end up with a Brick!

and .. u can also... use the menu of bootmii whit the buttons power. and reset of the nintendo wii.

BootMii will turn on nomatter what you have in your wii. No SD Card, SD Card, It will boot.
I Installed as Boot2. This is recommended.

1. Load Hackmii Installer Via any HB Booting method. Like HBC or BannerBomb.
2. Go though the menus, Install HBC (its a new version anyways!) DVDx and BootMii.
When you go into "bootmii..." It will ask "Install as Boot2" Or Install as IOS.
Simply install as Boot2
... Your gonna need a Gamecube Remote too.
