I like the guy a lot and think he could be the future of the Broncos. However, he still has a long long way to go.

I am a huge Bronco fan and from watching him it looks like he has a lot of tools. In the pre season games he has played in however, he has a horrible habit of locking on to the reciever he is going to throw the ball too. This can't be done to be successful in the NFL.  On the bright side though it is definitly something that can be fixed.

Not bad for a 4 1/2 minute highlight film. I have nothing against Brandstater and I wish him the best with the Broncs. Watching Tommy play at Fresno was like sitting on a rollercoaster. Up ( crisp accurate throws ) and down ( balls overthrown, fumbles, balls batted down and one sack after another ) Tommy was fun to watch when he was in his game. Again, best success to Tommy.

in McD's press conferences you can see he has little or no confidence in rookie qb's..Coach Mcdaniels is a smart man... his scheme will work, he just cant have big-headed players in the system...dont get me wrong, i liked jay cutler, but he was really cocky, and if you look at the players hes picking up, they are smart, selfless, consistant players and have a great passion for the game..

its just gonna be 2-3 years before we see it work though..6-10 =/

The thing I will say is that other than offensive lineman, Pat Hill doesn't know how to build the skills at other positions. My buddy has been saying Tommys footwork is bad and it's true. With his new coaches he'll get that taken care of. Good luck "Tommy Gun."

He looks good at this point in his development I'd say he needs to improve his arm strength by about 15-20%.He needs to hit the gym really hard.If he packs on 10-15 lbs of muscle I think he'll be good to go after 2-3 years with McD's coaching.Arm strength is my only real concern from these 3-4 you tube videos.

As a Raiders fan, I think this is a good pick for you Denver fans. He can make all the throw you need, and your coach runs a style of offense the releys on pass timing and YAC. So it is really a young QB friendly system or a "College like" system. So he could start if he learns it well
