When I have a bad day I come home and watch Batman on The Hub. Makes my frown turn into laughter. I especially love it when it's a Batgirl episode! Yvonne Craig is my favorite!
Ida Lupino & Howard Duff were married to one another at one time. Ida Lupino was one of those rare lady directors. She was the only woman to star in AND direct in the ol' Twilight Zone show.
A story similar to this one, in which villains turn themseves invisilbe to commit bank robberies, would had been a prefect episode of "The New Adventures of Wonder Woman". When Wonder Woman tries to stop one of the robberies, a villain, having become invisible, sneaks up behind Wonder Woman and removes her magic belt, rendering her powerless. Since Wonder Woman cannot see the villain, she cannot stop him from taking advantage of her weakness and taking her prisoner.
The way Cassandra and Caballa speak seems to have been another in the long lists of influences Mike Myers drew upon while writing Austin Powers. Not to mention masculine symbol on his lapel.
And from that little chemical equation, the elements she was referring to "Carbon Hydrogenate", "Carbon Hydroxide", "Hydroxide", and "Nitrogen Dioxide".

Portable Batphone...the idea that led the way for cell phones?? JK
gregersen80015 2 years ago 9
@gregersen80015 Closer than you think! Actually the idea for the cell phone was sparked by Star Trek's communicators.

The word is "Occult", Vlad, which means that Dr. Cassandra's like a magician, which is what "alchemy" is basically.
