  • i was on the set of world war z in scotland

  • I know someone who was in it!!!! :)

  • The book was GREAT! Highly recomend.

  • Best fake trailer yet. And I've ssen a few...

  • so meny will die:'''(

  • Great job !

  • are they actually making a movie? i cant tell but i read the book 4 times and of course LOVED it! so i hope that they are!!! if they do i think it will be the BEST zombie movie EVER and definitely my #1 movie!

  • @COMBATARMS4ALLTIME1 Ya, they started filming in I believe july 2011. Its release date is 12/21/12.

The problem is, they are not going with the book, they are I guess turning it into a following story, which means it may be WWZ in name only, perhaps pick a single story out of the book and expand on it.

    Brad Pitt stars in it.

  • not bad set up ya made

  • good for a fan made trailer

  • Britain: the home place of the zombie

  • @ashlymaness no its jimaca in africa i had to do with blow fish poison and so called bringing them back from the dead ok so this is how it works they would get some one poison them with blow fish poison and say they are dead but they are just so brain dead from the poison they seem like a zombie so its not britain :D

  • I propose Hug a Zombie week. They just need love.

  • what the hell is this crap!

  • I really hope there's a zombie outbreak, because everybody that I know will be at my door (even the undead) for ZOMBIE INFORMATION. But, I will not hold my breath.

  • really nice, could use some work tho

  • some one plz smack this idiot

  • GAY!

  • WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol zombie movies are never scary. too me zombies are like the lower class of the undead.

  • Dont be affraid of zombies. Think of it as a new start to mankind. The earth is gonna fight back some day. Maybe by not leting our dead sleep, who knows.

  • I feel like such a hetero.....I was all syked and figured out it wasn't a real movie trailor, which licks pussy because I would have loved to see a new zombie flick

  • If every single family in the United States owned an automatic weapon then this would be impossible, Obama will fix that though wont he.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 you make me laugh

  • @tacticallaxbro You calling me a right-wing basket case? I am getting that vibe from your comment.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 Yes, let's give every family in the country an automatic weapon to prevent a zombie invasion. Great idea.

  • @SpicyGinger555 Semi-auto would be better, actually.

  • @SpicyGinger555 What would you recommend against the living dead? We all prance around like good loving neighbors, blow kisses, give hugs, and love the hell out the zombies followed by an epic tickle fight? Perhaps we should throw flowers at them followed by a barrage of lovable delectable cherry flavored mints and upholding and respectful comments that aspire their self esteem. Or join hands and and have sing along songs deep into the night while expressing compassionate thoughts. It'll work!

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 I'd suggest you use the relatively easy to acquire and use weapons like lead pipes, crowbars and machetes. Killing something with that before it can bite you really wouldn't be too difficult. Or just use handguns? Those work too, and the police have them. Go with the police.

  • @SpicyGinger555 Cant use those, the is the possibility that in the post or pre war world I might use it to kill a neighbor, and of course, making sure only the government has firearms is an intelligent idea. Have you every considered what would happen when the police ceased to exist, they and the military will be the first to be thrown into the fire, once their gone your f***ed beyond comprehension. Besides, by using those weapons it physically exhausts you and you need to eat way more food.

  • @SpicyGinger555 See, by using melee you simply trade one necessity for another, by relying more on manual weapons rations are required, and ones that contain massive amounts of protein, calcium, and carbohydrates. Now I am no disaster expert, but within the first few weeks of a massive apocalyptic disaster most of the food will have been looted and torn from stores, and one can only store so much in preparation. So by not using guns you remove the individual's ability to kill zeds from long rang

  • @SpicyGinger555 and by doing so you cannot stealthy move through infested zones, which significantly reduces survival chances. And I don't have to mention that considering the population of this country there will be tens of millions of zombies that will most often be found in titanic hordes. Are you just going t grab a pipe and run at a swarm of hundred, thousands, or possibly tens of thousands of zeds? And lets also consider you have to be extremely close and though they might be slow you

  • @SpicyGinger555 take into account there will be many of them, they will then eventually corner you and box you in then tear you to shreds. History has shown, with all wars following the invention of the cannon, physical weapons are best kept as a last resort when you run out of ammunition for your firearms. Did our boys in D-day run up against German bunkers with melon ballers, hammers, and lead pipes in hand. And in the book in the "Raj-Singh" square they use rifles, not cardboard cut outs.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 I know, but if you'll also remember, they said in the book that automatic weapons aren't a good choice against zombies. You need precision hits, not a hail of bullets that use up bullets and make a lot of noise. I know that melee weapons shouldn't be your main weapon, but I don't think that automatic weapons for everyone would be a good idea. Also, sorry for seeming like an asshole with that earlier comment. Wasn't in a good mood, and I don't like political comments much.

  • @SpicyGinger555 I realize that, however, if trained properly they can ignore the temptation to put it on full auto. Besides, the automatic function is not meant for the zombies. During a disaster you have to have a flexible means of fighting against all enemies. Weather they be human or not, with looters, lamoes, maniacs, and quislings out there you have to be prepared for anything. But your right, if just fighting zombies a rifle will be sufficient.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 Yeah, I remember all the stuff about the humans who thought they're so awesome. The Last Man On Earth people. If I recall, that was when tanks started making an appearance again.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1. Obama has never even mentioned introducing gun control legislation while president so clearly you are a brain dead right winger. But even most Fox News sycophants are not dumb enough to make political points based on a theoretical zombie apocalypse. At least they have the intelligence to base all our problems on mexicans and black people.

  • sucks big balls!

  • Although being "undead" is virtually impossible, there has been recorded tales of a rage type virus (much like the one in 28 Weeks Later) that spread throughout the Carribean some 200 years ago. It was a mutated version of the rabies virus. Left alone, the people died from the virus a few days after infection. They were known as "zombies" that mutilated and ate their victims.

  • @ivandead2000 That is quite interesting. You wouldn't happen to be willing to share where you got this information from, would you? I have to point out though, while being undead TECHNICALLY isn't possible, Have you ever heard of Clairvius Narcisse? He's just one of a few people in Haiti who was considered dead, buried, and then later unburied to be used as a zombie slave to work on a sugar plantation. As crazy as it sounds, this shit is not made up. Google it.

  • it was pretty good but you put DotD clips. Like it was way too hard not to.

  • If any of you live in urban China when this happens you are F***ed beyond all hope.

  • The best place is Hawaii.

  • @MrSmith2100 It probably is, but in the long run Australia would be better because the population is spread thin across the map, some people have closest neighbors nearly 20 miles in any direction. That and the dry hot climate would kill any zombies trying to cross its vast deserts, in Hawaii the population is highly concentrated and the humidity and heat makes it the perfect incubator for the infection. Any small outbreak would quickly consume the island.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 i live in australia, and we'd be fucked. The sheer lack of firearms would be our death

  • @estebee The fear of anniliation in and of itself would get your socialist government's head of its ass.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 hahaha, so so true

  • @estebee But only during a zombie apocalypse, until then your kinda headed downhill...sorry I had to break it to ya. I mean, when I saw your beautiful outback, your structural achievements, your wonderful beaches, and your fascinating wildlife I actually thought "When I grow up I want to be a citizen there!". After reading an article on how your government mirrors that of England I have learned to disregard such fantasies.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 Yeah i agree with you. I moved here recently, i grew up in Oregon, USA. I have no idea why australia still remains a part of the royal empire. In my opinion the country should have been turned into a republic years ago, not to mention the astronomical pricing on everything here, especially gas.

  • @estebee Yeah, the U.K. is still compensating for small size by exercising their empirial muscle and your right, Australia should be a Republic but don't worry...eventually things will change. The people not as a collective but as a body of individuals will become angered by the State power and will overthrow them, they will probably use the U.S. constitution as a tool for republican restructuring. Thats what I love about politics, the people no matter how oppressed will eventually win.

  • @estebee ahh but there is alot of unpopulated are and been such a country we could self quarantine (no one in no one out) and that would slow the progress giving the smart people time to make compounds and learn the symptoms

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 Thats sure china always first

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 unless you went up to a national park and ran into some random teenager with a kitana

  • @mrlego5112 National Parks in China? Civilian owned weapons? IN CHINA? The idea of a citizen having the ability to harm another is absurd....and think of the State! No, my comment stands. Besides, the kitana kid was from Japan and National Parks consume room the proletariat needs for expansion.

  • ITS BILL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When i read World War Z by Max Brooks, the thing that really hit me was how he talks to other people, not just telling the story of how he survived, my favorite chapter in the book was the Yonkers Chapter, "when some dumbass lobs a flashbang into the crowd" that parts when all chaos starts breaking loose, if u have the time, u should read it, a very good book

  • I read the book and it is even better then White Fang! I like Raj Singh and the dude usng zombie as a sword!

  • that audio book was fantastic

  • i hope they make this an anime series instead of a 90minute film or cheesy sci fi channel live action miniseries. anime because animation doesnt fail if it doesnt look real and wont be filmed entirely in the dark to try to make up for its fakeness.

  • @Hectortuba155817 But imagine all the cheezy anime voice actors...even worse.

  • @RevelationUltimatum ugh now that you mention it, it would probably also have that annoying cliched cutesy creature that plagues every anime.

  • @Hectortuba155817 read the book moron, if you expect some anime with huge tittie chicks and samurais running through trees, you obviously need to do this, cause it is literally interviews and stories, and very few are in the dark. Also, I bet this is like a 2.5 hour movie to get in the good stuff plus some of the other ones. Animes seldom relate to the real world, and this one seldom diverges from it.

  • @gredert Besides the obvious of you being a troll, no vids of your own and calling people morons for no reason...

I did read the book, great book btw, and it is because of its unrealistic story that i thought it should be an anime, otherwise i think it would just be poorly lit film with shaky camera to make up for being under budget and bad prop use. Yes its story is interviews, but most of those interviews have enough to support a 20 minute show. Or as someone else suggested an HBO miniseries.

  • @gredert i'll agree with the fact that most anime are horrible train wrecks of teen self loathing but the ones that arent pure crap are actually pretty good.

This isnt a realistic story, because it has zombies, the resolutions the survivors come up with are realistic, but zombie apocalypse is not. if u make a 2.5 hr movie, it will spend 1/4 dev the char, 2/5 in the substance, 1/4 in the resolution and 1/10 in creds.

anyways im done, not gonna return to argue with a troll.

  • this sucks

  • lol. The Dark Knight song in WWZ. :D

  • i love the part at 1:06 where it looks like army or whatever are chasing zombies away after the video says they have no fear. I know its not real but its still well put together

  • 0:52 lol dawn of the dead FAKE!!!! but awsome clip n1 on this all thumbs are up

  • what movie is the clip at 0:40 with all the hands from? i want to know.

  • i wonder when it comes out

  • zombies cant run it says in the book

  • man as kick ass as the book is the movie better do it justice

  • 0:12 Aren't the government supposed to tell people NOT to panic? Politicians are not fans of the exclamation mark.

  • I guess that means we Canadians should close our borders when the dead start to walk eh?

  • I cant wait to see the Battle of Yonkers.

  • @epicmonkey96 I dunno..a lot of long time zombie fans are crazy about the Battle of Yonkers. I'll take the Battle of Hope, because that is what really sets World War Z apart from every other zombie movie.

  • @olliejk

The Battle of Yonkers was one of the best parts in the book even though it was an epic fail for the army...Is there really gonna be a movie on the book? If so im stoked

  • one word for me to stop zombies............nuke

  • @LTGeraldo and then we get mutants

  • @3fan123 ffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccckkkkkkkkk ok then i'll just head to an of shor oil rig

  • @LTGeraldo 2 words for you nuke fallout

  • @bendogtoy13 what.

  • ARE THEY GONNA MAKE THIS MOVIE SRSLY!!!!! who thinks zach snyder would b good to direct? i know he did dawn of the dead but that guys stays true to the books etc JUST MAKE THE MOVIE!!!

  • 3 things to make this movie good

1 slow moving zombies not stupid running ones

2 no superhumans the one person who takes out the whole hoard on his own

3 numbers the hords must be huge or there is no point

  • 1 - whats wrong with running zombies? there's no probable reason why they shouldn't be able to.

    2 - i agree with

3 - depends on the situation, sometimes a single zombie in a dark and cluttered area makes for a good scene

  • @BringerOfD

no runners cause zombies are corbses and having a roting corpse run just isnt real

and yes your point on 3 is good

  • well if you think about it a real zombie PROBABLY isnt going to be the rotting corpse kind. since they have the ability to move at all they should have the ability to pump blood and function enough of the brain for primal functions. this means the body should be living not dead, wounds would heal. it would essentially be a perfectly fine living being the only problem is it has no access to its higher brain functions. so all they do is kill and eat.

  • @BringerOfD read the zombie survival guild

  • the zombie culture started in the form of dead people raised through magic/sorcery. which is why they could only stumble around they were actually dead. as the genre evolved the reasons for zombie apocalypses were changed (ie. biological or chemical agents) however the attributes of a zombie remained the same because few people realized that with this plot change zombies were no longer "dead"

  • @BringerOfD

if they are not the living dead they are not real zombies end of story and dont say the creatures from 28 days later are zombies

  • that is a good point however that leads to another problem which means the "zombie movie genre" has not had any real zombies for a while now.

btw my reason for all this argueing is because since the movies portray this as actually happening in this dimension i'm just trying to form the most realistic scenario which means no magic (which means no real "dead" Zombies)

another issue with your portayal of zombies is that if it isnt biological or chemical, how would it infect others?

  • @BringerOfD

read the first part of the zombie survival guild and they explane infection the virus and why they dont run go look up the audio book on youtube then come back and also since this movie is based of a max brooks novel he wrote the guild it will fallow the guilds rules

  • i dont mean specifically this movie, and yes i have read the guide. twas a while ago. was it the lacking of brain functions again or the decaying muscles for the running? either way i dont really think it makes much sense as the explanations require the presumption that the zombies are in fact rotting or the infection has caused some sort of physical damage to the body/brain. dead btw is used to define something no longer animate, meaning if it moves, it's not dead.

  • @BringerOfD Well ok ill give you that it all depends on

    1. cause

    2. how much the brain is damaged in the process

the zombies in WWZ have their frontal lobs damaged from the zombification which makes them lose their quardination so in theory a runner can exist if they retain some quardination after zombification

  • @EMH204 also the mucles of a human body do not need oxygen to oporate or maintain so if it happened their can be a roting corpse zombie

  • @BringerOfD and they would be much easyer to kill em to.

  • i swear the movie better be as good as the book if so then it will be tied with or beat george a romeros day of the dead

  • When it comes to the movie any less then epic will be fail

  • All i see is that a great deal of good people died fighting in both World Wars to free the world from Dictators so we can have the freedom to write our silly little comments about it all on YouTube. World War Z would be a no-win scenario. You would always be just surviving until the day you (Didn`t) die.

  • You sorta blew it i nthe later half, but before that it was pretty darn good.

  • oh yeah and 1:08

  • Hey way to use dawn of the dead for :50 - !;00

  • the whole thingabout world war z is that fear and panic are our biggest downfalls.

  • @YankeeFitz It's easily summed up as "irrationality" I totally agree with you.

  • pretty good. expecially compared to others ones i have seen on Youtube 4 stars

  • dude 37 million humans died in ww1

    70 million died in ww2

  • @warobsessive yeah cos world war 2 was so much better than world war 1 cos more people died

    yaay

  • i haven't looked it up to be sure. But I'm fairly positive you are wrong. You are forgetting just how many died when the US dropped TWO A-Bombs on Japan.

  • @dudeeaterkiller counting the 6 million jews that were slaughtered....were not just counting miltary casualtes

  • dudeeaterkiller you are the dumbass. World War 1 was not the same scale as WW2. In fact little under half of world considers WW1 to only be European War 1. So you are the dumbass. go and cry now

  • @dudeeaterkiller You're such a fucking idiot...

  • Hey I like how you had the lines from the book in there. That was cool

  • If I Remember correctly, most of the people who died in WWZ didn't even die from zombies, they died from Starvation, Infections (Non Zombie Related), Dehydration, Self Inflicted wounds and other humans too mention a few.

  • realistically only maybe 10 percent of humanity will see infection at the most, everyone else would be killed by other people for weapons and supplies, vehicles, then of course all the other reasons such as accidents other infections and wounds. lets face it, its the selfish people will end up making the situation a whole lot worse than it has to be

  • Comment removed

  • awesome

  • true, but most of the dead from WWI were killed by the influenza outbreak near the end of the war.

  • dude world war 1 had a lot more dead people then world war 2 i believe it was far over a hundred million and second world war was not even a hundred

  • @paultje1111

wrong, the total dead on both sides for WWI is aprox. 39,000,000

the total dead for the allied side in WWII is over 61,000,000, and the axis side is over 12,000,000, and the total for WWI also includes WIA and MIA as well as KIA

  • Probably the best one yet. You used the audiobook. Just get the statistics right. It was 1 billion undead, not 4 billion.

  • that was a very good beginning, with max brooks saying exactly that..

you shuld email him and set something up

  • did world war z really happen

  • yes

  • please dont tell me you just asked if a world wide war against the undead really happened. seriously dude?

  • icx, thats great.

  • not yet

  • no of course not

  • @sonicsprite1 all i can say is, how many times have you been to school?

  • @sonicsprite1 yes, it did.

  • @sonicsprite1 your a fucking idiot

  • @sonicsprite1 are you retarded?

  • @sonicsprite1 No, honey. It's based off of a book that they're making into a movie. Something this huge would not remain hidden for long. People would notice dead things walking...

  • @sonicsprite1 I dont even know how to respond to such stupidity

  • @sonicsprite1

no you idiot...you really think our government would let it slip under our...on second thought...maybe it did?

  • @sonicsprite1

    What the fuck

  • @sonicsprite1 i have no comment for th is one

  • @mexicano7771000 i have no comment for th at one either

  • @sonicsprite1 uh NO lol it's a BOOK lol base on many films and stories.

Lol the BOOK or THE SOON TO BE film is base of political views of what IF there was such an outbreak among the world.

And views of SO called victims of the war.

And in the Book itself I have to say after reading it, it was very accurate to what could happen.

  • @sonicsprite1 god i hate you so much

  • @sonicsprite1 No, World War Z did not happen, it was a book made by a man called Max Brooks, and for the base of the subject, zombies are non-existent (dont exist) they were a horror movie thought made my legendary movie maker George A. Romero, in his first zombie film, Night of the Living Dead, which I do believe came out in 1969, zombies are fake and fictitious, and nothing, NOTHING, can bring the deceased back amongst the living.

  • @jmjmjm97 - are you SURE they don't exist? I mean do you REALLY know there isn't a virus out there like the one in this book? somewhere out there in nature, lying dormant?

just because it isn't common knowledge right now doesn't mean that it doesn't exist in some form somewhere.

hell, even vampirism has roots in a real disease.

you just flat out never know

  • @jdzspace well people can believe what they want to. but a great book with very realistic situations

  • @jdzspace well there is RABIES. BUT its unlikely u could reanimate a corps like the way zombies work.

  • @sonicsprite1 yes - ten years ago, but it was hushed up!

  • @sonicsprite1 yes it did, zombies attack us. killed 4 billion people, there was a massive war nd mankind managed to win. this all happened overnight nd ended b4 u woke up so u didnt notice LOL =P

  • @sonicsprite1 no there will never be zombies its inposible

  • @RandomLegoDude no, its impossible for there to be undead, its completely possible for there to be an irrational human with an unexplainable hunger for meat. BTW, and I'm probably not the only one here who thinks this, but before you try to correct someone, please try and spell things like 'impossible' right.

  • @sonicsprite1 no srry

  • @sonicsprite1 its happening right now...are you that closed in? for god sakes be ready when they show up.

  • @sonicsprite1 ... What?

  • @sonicsprite1 Yes it did

  • @sonicsprite1 i think we would know if it did

  • @sonicsprite1 haha it sounds like you're getting a lot of hate. It's alright. As I was reading the book, I started to question history, as well. It just seemed like it could've actually happened. I guess Max Brooks is that good of an author XP

  • Sweet and simple. I like it.

  • *can't wait for real footage to show up*

and ofc the movie, and I hope they won't screw it up!

  • Very good video. Good quality

  • They *are* going to make a movie >.> Jebus, do some research, people.

  • It is being made into a movie!!!

  • Good Job bro -

Max Brooks would be proud...perchance he'll get a look at this and hire you on as a collaborator ;)

  • damn I really thought there was going to be a movie my heart is broken. I read half the book until at a party somebody stole it. good vid though

  • I had just watched a couple other attempts at this and couldn't believe they didn't use the audio book at all. It's not the only reason yours is the best but it definitely helps.

  • Well done!

  • wow that was very good

  • XD Pretty Cool.

  • lol, great use of the audio book!!!

  • i swear if they really make a world war z movie i can say i read the book before it was even concieved as a movie

  • they are making a movie

  • Sounds like music from The Dark Knight!

  • the music sounded like in the movie invisible children

  • Great Vid. What's the song near the end?

  • wats the mucis playing?

and nice vid :) good use of clips and the road sign was well kool!! (Y)

  • pretty good. not bad. loved the hacked traiffic sign.
