there are almost no earthquakes in the UAE, and I don't think that extremist muslims will attack their own buildings.

Do you know anything about the buildings design? It seems like the wind would topple it over easily with the design. I know it can sway with the wind up to 4 feet, but is there any other key factor in the design?

the building is designed so that wind can't blow until it falls over.

the designs uses tiers (the three wings stop at irregular heights, so that the wind can't blow on the full surface of the tower, but only on a small part at one time)

These new massive buildings in Dubai are like the modern day pyramids, once one is built the next one is just a mega project of 10 years away. No matter what happens though this building captivates the mind as to what is possible

so what? who like to stay in dubai? my God i hate this F** place... the heat is everyday more than 40C-43C... this is not a place to stay. this is hell. this country is cursed...

really? well try it again in 10 years, it just a work in progress right now. No doubt the heat there is crazy, but all of the amenitites soon to be provided are in place, transportation is under construction, once its up to pace the heat probably wont seem as overwhelming

well i dont know if you have been here.... but believe me to stay in dubai anymore your salary should be at least 4000US$ to feel worth of staying... you are paying even the air you breath...
