  • Fuck turks!!!)Want to see Kyshenko vs Serkan.Ukrainian vs turkish.Just like 400 years ago

  • thats why k1 lost a lt of respect the jury is just bullshit you cant win against a japanese unless you knock him out

  • Masato

  • I think they wold fight an extra round but, I think Yilmaz fight better and deserves to win more than Masato.

  • masato what make..ahahah.but win ahahah muahmuah masato oracle

  • good fight)))he is undespudet)

  • buakaw would kill this turkish gay.

  • clearly Masato won this FIGHT!!

  • You guys watching the same fight here? Masato definitely won and did more damage. In either case, watch Uno vs. Yilmaz and see Yilmaz tap out in MMA. He's got a lot of work. Against Ludwig he didn't know how to handle the knee clinch.

  • such a unfair fight .... home advantage for masato

  • @SteelAsteroid

SERKAN YLMAZ win this fight. Japanese have favoritism on thier pop idol MASATO..!!!

  • @kopellhinex What did Serkan in your opinion, to win this fight ??

As I see it, Masato clearly won on points and damage dealt.

  • @Kokainuser

serkan ylmaz clearly forgive masato because he is his friend & he understand masato idoling in japan.

  • @Kokainuser

serkan ylmaz control this fight well i see it in his face. wihtout the refere he could kill masato into pieces.

but points lead masato to win but for me its SERKAN YLMAZ the winner.

  • @Kokainuser

SERKAN YLMAZ is the professor here.

MASATO is just a student in thuis fight, masato will learn too much from serkan ylmaz on what fight could bring in a scenario.

  • Serkan should of thrown axe kicks, high kicks and he should of thrown a lot more boxing combos (he's significantly taller than masato)

  • halen dövüsüyormu serkan yılmaz

  • SILVER WOLF!!!

  • masato kick his ass, good work

  • Nah man, it was Serkan's fight definetly

  • @Vlad2TKD

dude, masato beat the fuck out of serkan.

  • @Vlad2TKD how was it serkan's fight? he was throwing spinning back kicks and rarely hitting with them

  • Serkan Yilmaz makes beautiful things but it's not usefull. lol

  • Good Technic from Masato, he broke the left leg of Serkan in order to prevent its Tae Kwon do ability. Long and dangerous but it's efficient.

  • Masato sucks! allways win by points then really he is loose! like in fight with Kyshenko in 2008! 100% loose in 3 rouuns but referies gives the extra round! FU Masato!!!!

  • that was the most distracting announcer i've ever heard.

  • Anyone know why Yilmaz didnt use back kicks as a counter? I would've thought it'd be more effective that way...

  • @FU0C0 yes thats a good question, a tkd fighter feels different at k-1 fight maybe he is more sure with that kicks thats why he didnt use back kicks as a counter you need more space for that kicks but the bigest problem is that you cant watch behind you he wouldnt have this problem in a tkd fight

  • esto fue un puto robo no mames

ylimaz gano pinche japonesito ni es bueno elculero

  • @skn2585 MIS HUEVOS SON AZULES TAMBIEN,,,,,ESE PUTO PATITAS VOLADORAS STA BIEN PENDEJO, MASATO SE MOVIO MAS Y LO MADREO MAS ESA ES LA REALIDAD, SI ESE WEY QUERIA GANAR CON SUS PATADAS ASOMBROSAS PS MEJOR QUE SE VAYA A UN CIRCO

  • turkey power man turkey 4 ever

  • la bu serkandan hiç bi cacık olmas arkadaş seyrediorum ama hiç zevk almıorum

  • serkan yilmaz is a big loSER

THE best TURKISCH K1 MAX FIGHTER

    IS MURAT DIREKCI !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @corleone456

Murat Direkci and Sahin Yakut are the best turkish fighters in middle weight!

    Gökhan Saki in Heavy weight.

  • @corleone456 a big looser what are you talking about one more round and he would be the winner, this low kicks just was the ONLY problem... and masato knew that this weak point was his chance to win from the other side serkan almost beat him he is a great fighter!!!

  • win - win

  • Good fighter the turk but not enough, Masato is a MONSTER inside the ring.

  • Pramuk is better.

  • Buakaw is my all time favourite indeed. Besides, I´ve been noticing a slight decay in his game plan, or maybe the thing is that the others have improved theirs.

  • hes fucking lazy.

  • and zambidis beat masato in 2004 but got ripped off. im sure everyone knows about that one.

  • I laughed a little inside when Serkan lifted up his hand. He may have scored some heavy blows on the first round, but Masato destroyed him with the low kicks. Great fight

  • i laughed out loud when the Japs went biased again

  • @JKFDDSY2009 you reckon this is a bias call? serkan got schooled big time.

  • My top-10favourite K1-Fighter iwthout the records. 1. Por. Pramuk Buakaw 2. Serkan Yilmaz 3. Masato 4. Giorgio Petrosian 5. Murat Direkci 6. Gago Drago 7. Daniel Ghita 8. Mike Zambidis 9. Badr Hari 10. Artur Kyshenko
  • get all of you over it

THE BEST FIGHTER IN THE WORLD IS

    PETROSIAN GIORGIO

HE WOULD BEAT EASELY BOTH OF THEM

SERKAN IS A GOOD FIGHTER BUT NOT TOP LEVEL

  • @ketoras Yeah kinda funny he chickened out of his fight with Masato with his last minute injury.

  • serkan was in the military and later gave up active fighting in K1

too bad because his kicks were very beautiful

  • serkan just wasn't able 2 dominate muay thai this time

  • masato isnt muay thai. his kickboxing.

  • so it should b easier

  • i think they shud have went for an extra round.

  • Turksamuray beni serkan abıyle tanısdırsanız ona çok benzıyorum 1.82 - 73 kiloyum . iyi dövüsüyorum beni çalışdıran serkan abi için indiremicem adam yok ..

  • I've read that serkan's last fight was in 2003. Why doesn't he fight again ?

  • I won't deny that the japanese are known for favoring their own fighters but seriously guys! Look at it from a judging persepctive why dont ya? It's not all about the big reverse turn kick dragon spins or whatever the hell they're called. The fact is that they rarely landed. Almost every time Masato didn't get out of the way, he blocked it and that means that it doesn't score whereas Masato consistently scored with leg kicks and boxing.

The fact is that Masato was scoring with more effect

  • "And you're not going to catch someone the likes of Masato with those shots - they're too big." Yeah, but Masato looked like he was pretty desperate after getting kicked in the head a few times. "Great left by Masato." Forget all the great shots by Yilmaz. The commentary was so warped. Stupid. Cheers to Yilmaz for even competing there knowing he would have to practically get a knockout to take the comp.

  • fuck japan juriii serkan is de best

  • gay knies

  • He gave Masato a good fight which isn't easy. Serkan just couldn't deal with the handspeed.

  • every1 got carried away by the crowd serkan should of won that

  • bu senin serkan .... yuhhhh size ve jürinize yuhhhh ... kör müsünüz?? sağır mısınız?? atılan tekmeleri vurulan yumrukları görmüyorsun.. sesini de mi duymuyorsun ???

  • in japan you must win ko.

    papans are sons of bitches

  • a racist german. what a suprise

  • LOL you moron. Every culture has good people and "sons of bitches". I guess you'd be an example of the "sons of bitches" you might find in Germany? I have only meet nice Germans so far, so it makes sense it is about time I meet an idiot from Germany ;)

  • Serkan Yilmaz is a great tkd fighter, but he doesn't fight like traditional tkd fighters do.

  • thats traditional tkd isn't effective enough for complete stand up. it's limited but the limitation allows a higher level of kicking which is useful. tkd is strong but it just needs some more punching.

  • serkan trained taekwondo and kickboxing

  • yep perfect combination for fighting. i take tkd and i know it's just not enough especially against top notch fighters, cause it specializes in only one area of fighting.

  • maç serkanın hakkıydı ben bile şaşırdım masato yu resmen dövdü bizimki

  • ne dovmesi, iyi bak sana pust masato nasil puanlari teker teker aliyor

  • k-1 is for japanese!!!!

  • well serkan is a special fighter and i like the fact that he had the balls to do tae kwon do in k1.but you can see that he can't block the low kicks man..that means that either he doesn't know how,or he's scared to do it.personally i believe it's both so how can that compare to muay thai

  • Well all you need to do is condition the legs and train for low kicks. There are aspects of TKD that could give trouble to MT fighters. TKD's kicking range is much longer that MT, which is great for the outside.

Serkan is an amazing talent, however flawed. Things he could work on in his career is strengthening his legs, defense and offense for low kicks, learn more hand combos, and especially learn to mentally relax and not go at a sprint only to gas later in the fight.

  • Yilmaz the best taekwondo fighter I have ever seen.

    Make us proud !

  • Woah!! Masato is all hyped up at the start. Looks like a bunny bouncing round the ring

  • hey what happen to yilmaz, is he retired from K-1? never saw him fight again.... too bad he is damm good, with his speed back spinning kick

  • Nonsense, it was a clear win for Masato. I am the first to say that Jap judges are biased, but this was not the case here. Yilmaz hardly ever scored

  • Serkan actually won the match because he got more clear points. Masato did only low kicks which looked more effective because of Serkan's avoiding action. Serkan also did many clear low kicks. Masato maybe was better at low kicks. But all together, Serkan got more clear points. Masato won the match because of home advantage. English speaking commentator said to Masato at the end of the match "It's too late." What does it mean???

  • Are you a cheerleader or something?! Only an irrational serkan fan might say that, or someone who knows very little about MMA. Serkan's all out undisciplined style is not well suited to a focused intelligent fighter like Masato.

  • nah man if u look closely masato landed a bunch of punches to the face of yilmaz... yilmaz lost even tho i wanted him to win cuz he does TKD heh

  • Yeah I'm a Serkan and Masato fan, and Masato won that. The commentator meant that it is too late to swing the decision, he comments on how aggressive Serkan is, and how Masato is using skill.

  • yilmaz is the best!!!

  • masato is such a bad ass

  • watch?v=1fYmMAVKw_0&feature=related poor damage power ?? :)))

  • they both so good. nice firht

  • Yilmaz only have spining back kick

    with poor damage power.

  • you obviously have never been hit with a spinning back kick before. saying a spinning back kick has poor damage power is like saying a lunging overhand right has poor damage power. the whole point of the technique is power by sacrificing accuracy and an opening

  • commentary is pure shit..they got some empty-headed bastard

  • Masato landed more low kicks and punches,,,,Yilmaz kicks very well,,,,but his kicks didn´t hit Masato,,,,you don´t need to be a fighter to see that Masato won this fight...........

  • for me serkan yilmaz kick ass with the most powreful kicks taekwondo

  • What was Yilmaz not happy about? What did the two of them ..uh...discuss at 1:22?

  • i was wondering that too! maybe the judge couldnt think of what to say lmao hahaha

  • Masato's low kick hit the groin area. So Masato touched gloves to apologize for it.

  • are u fucking crazy? masato landed several low kicks, always dominated the center of the ring and walking foward. the stupid taekwondo fighter juz throwed some spinning kicks in masato guard

  • Most of the roundhouses never landed. He's got a good roundhouse but he needs to not use it less often. Jadamba is much better at disguising his roundhouse than Yilmaz; and Drago is even better.

  • Serkan Yilmaz so had to win this fight it's bullshit the k1 cheated him out of all his fights poor serkan yilmaz the only way he could win was by knockout. Now I know he quit k1.If it wasn't for the pathetic judges Serkan Yilmaz record should be 6-0-0 undefeated.

  • think about the way they judge and the criteria they use.

then explain to us how the judges cheated him.

lets be logical and break it down for us to how you see it your way.

  • lol@more hits.. the only thing Serkan Yilmaz hit was air molecules. He had no answer for ALL of masato's low kicks and punches... he ate every single one.

  • i side with TapMeOut, though i'm a fan of Yilmaz...masato was far more merticulous and fought much smarter too...

  • @TapMeOut

did we watch different fights? yilmaz got at least three times hard in the stomach with spinning kicks and a couple of times hard with low spinning. and he dropped Masato once. and the only think Masato could do is a left low kick, which definitely didn't 'kill Serkan's leg' as some ppl here say. It was an even fight but of course Masato the pop idol takes a judge decision...

  • @altaimountain masato was working more.....

  • @altaimountain how objective.... A guy named altaimountain claims that a Turk got robbed.....

  • @SherAFG

So what's your connection? that Turks trace descent to the Altai mountains? and what if I like Zambidis as well, who is Greek? and what is with being objective? Everybody is entitled to their opinions, it's the judges who should be objective, but in K1 they are not.

  • @altaimountain well, in this case, they were...

  • masato have hard low kicks ...no chance for the turky guy ...

  • great soinning kicks from yilmaz, he was vey resereved , shame

  • that spining kicks are unstoppable

  • niktamer tu ser pas te batre serkan apa

  • i hate how this commentator describes the athletes by their ethnic background..."the turk" "the thai"

    great fight tho

  • i dunno. a scot is short for saying a scotsman. spaniard for spanish. i dont see the difference but give me your opinion. thanks

  • whats he meant to call them? the person of different ethnicity to white anglo saxon prodistants? you absolute tool.

  • what are you like the gay commissioner or something?

  • Yilmaz is areal tae-kwon-do fighter and he should have done some lowkick(and block) training in holland(cuz they are the best) before he started with k-1.

It is spectacular what he does with his legs but u cant (very hard to) win k-1 matches with only Taek-won-do skills(wich he is great at).

Dont know his age or if he returns to k-1 but i liked to watch him fight, and i wish to c some more....

  • stop saying turk u fkn racist jelu fkn basted

  • u sir are an absolute fuckwit, do you even know what the term racist means? look it up and then get back to me retard.

  • look at this another jackass trying to be tough online mate go get a life :)

  • ok "mate" , many people use the term racist out of context constantly, just pisses me off.

  • It looked as if Yilmaz could have used more of his boxing skills, even if his kicks were devastating, especially with an experienced bobber/weaver like Masato.

  • IMO serkan yilmaz uses too much power in his kicks, and while when it lands its devastating with an opponent like masato who dodges and weaves thru attacks, will be countered.

  • masato win by more points.. easy

  • Serkan Yilmaz is one bad ass dude. I have been practicing Tae Kwon Do for almost 15 years and he is honestly one of best kick boxing fighters ive see. The reason i say this is because is isnt just the standard punchs and round house kicks he mixes it up. I think if he used a lil more flash steping he would destory all. Anyways he won this fight hands down but wat do they say NEVER LEAVE IT IN THE JUDGES HANDS and thats wat happens!

  • masato won this fight, he lands at least a dozen leg kicks, they hurt yilmaz, u see the bruising when they showed the close up. besides yilmaz's K1 career lasted only a year and he only won 3 out of 10 fights. his style is too flashy as it is, not basic enough

  • he had 7 total fights in K-1 not 10

he went for national service, not that he couldnt continue it

  • fuck someone tell that faggot commentator to fck up. "i suspect there is a bit of devilment in masato's approach" bull fking shit

  • yalaninizi sikim .. serkan kazandi ulan

  • serkan yilmaz are the best he won the match

    NE MUTLU TÜRKÜM DIYENE

  • I`d be hell of a fighter if only I had a, from 1 to 10% of a skill of ether of those two .. but it takes so long to put head gear on, shinpads and a rest of it 4 training.. so I`ll just keep on typing..

  • wtf? yilmaz should have won this fight...

  • I agree. Masato won his Buakaw fight the same way. What's with his fake bouncy style, anyway?

  • Masato won because he's the crowd favorite.

  • Damn, Yilmaz is the number one Guard

    Piercer and Breaker

  • i see this fight on tv and the Commentator say the winner was serkan yilmaz , but masato has to stay in the finals.........

in the end was a great fight , the both was great ,is not anyone who fight an equal footing with Masato

  • good spining kick by the serkan. Nice muay thai low kick by masato.. Both are great.

  • why he win? I don't understand

  • cos he got more points! didn't you watch it?

  • im glad that masato cant read english . . . there are some real serkan ball huggers here. . . damn~ sekan sucks in k1.

  • the most suck they just lucky wenn opponent is weaker. but thats your own fault. never mind your opponent.

  • wow this was agreat fight and i think one more round would have decide it and i think they both would of liked that, masato is a great fighter but i really think yerkan its a better overall fighter just cause of the skill it takes to deliver htis kicks with presicion still really close fight

  • naaah...i think serkan would be limping the whole round and wouldn't be able to kick anymore. Masato just kicked him in the ass. you watched it didn't you?

  • Aronikun my friend, I'l tell you what am struggling to get over.. The fact that you use words such as 'Game' and 'Played', when talking about Yilmaz Vs Masato. These aren't words you use to describe a combat between two great fighters, which shows the depth of your understanding, anyways, I still believe the 'Fight' was won by Yilmaz, he was the instigator of the exchanges throughout and was solid in his approach

  • damn. . . what were you watching? they are in a differnt class. . .

  • Well, there is a timer. And they stop fighting when the bell goes. Does that ever happen in a real "fight"? I don't doubt that if Yilmaz landed one of those kicks, Masato would be going down and if there was no time limit, it'd be up to the fittest, or the lucky. I stand by what I say. This is a game and Masato won.

  • @KammiM Sorry to take so long to reply. Internet is a luxury when you are homeless. I do agree that they are great fighters. They are at the top but they will never show their true abilities in the ring.

  • they did in 9 of his previous matches, anyone who has experience in the ring knows no matter how good you are its all about luck, masato is lucky yilmas didnt land a solid hit, visa versa bla bla

  • this was a great fight, very even but I think that masato deserved to win even though I think that yilmaz could have won this fight if he had stuck to his spinning kicks and powerful punches. But then again Masato is a very good fighter so I think he showed that he was better.

  • hmm, seems to me Yilmaz got more power kicks in, but Masato got more shots in. All those low kicks got him a lot of points. Based on that, Masato rightfully won this fight.

BUt damn, dat was a great match. Good to see a TKD practitioner in a fight league doin well, considering how most of dem can't seem to adjust from TKD competition rules (no punches to head, etc).

  • most annoying commentary ever. good, close fight.

  • yeah, by reverse roundhouse i think he means spinning hook kick or jump back kick? haha.. see ya!

  • All credit to both fighters, but Serkan had that one won. Bias Japanese judges is why Masato won. Its clear cut, Yilmaz was dictating the pace of the fight, and landing his big 'beautiful' powerful shots with ease. N am reading up alot of people runnig their mouth about 'desperate' kicks, they are highly skillful, very powerfull TKD kicks, and extremely difficult to execute! thats his style of fighting, how many fighters can do what Yilmaz does in the ring? Not many, so stop chatting shit

  • i agree 100% he controlled the pace of the fight and landed the more damaging shots and got the only knock down

  • If it was a real fight, all they'd have to do is land a soft punch to the balls then while they're withering around a stomp to the throat would k.o the opponent permanently.

This is a game and these matches have rules. The rules are the same no matter where the matches are held and whoever judges them. Masato played better and he won. Get over it KammiM.

  • Aronikun - you act like that's easy but it's not. Don't forget in the early UFCs you could eye gouge and fish hook, you could groin strike yet nobody won by dirty tactics. Why do you think that is? It's because kicking people in the nuts isn't as easy when professional fighters are prepared for anything

  • Wow. I never knew that. I know the balls is the hardest target, but the stomach is pretty hard too, and they were landing them. Bruce Lee once taught, "If the opponent has you in submission what do you do? ... You bite." When your life is under threat, you'll quickly forget about pride and the way of the warrior. In a fight, you've gotta think survival. Plus it'd be silly to try eye gouging and a fish hook with gloves...

  • MASATO C-L-E-A-R-L-Y WON...

why..? CAUSE he punched serkans face MANY TIMES, kick serkans legs till it got red many timeS!!!!

and what did serkans do?? a dozens BEAUTIFUL KICK? that landed 8 times maybe? a few punches THAT MISSESS!

  • serkan yilmaz should've won, those stupid ners judge/jury were japanese.

    \

  • OMG .. that cant be shit japan juryys ... YILMAZ WON THE MATCH WITH POINTS...

  • actually he didnt...Masato was the better fighter this time , all these lowkicks gave him points...

  • masato is a great fihgter

  • AHHHHHH another ic lol well dont get me wrong guys..lol i never said he was bad he just looks mean to me lol like .....i dont know if its a concintrating face or not lol but he just looks mean haha but then again i could be completly wrong i know nothing about these fighters i just like to watch :P

  • OHHH i seee :)

  • putos

  • the turks are the best !!!

  • i dont like that turkish guy...even tho he does throw some nice kicks...i think its in desperation..witch makes him look agressive in witch case alllso makes him look very intimidating lol so people are like ..."woushh"....damnn..

  • that's kinda how tkd is.. its usually aggressive. and they try to forcefully take the lead. not desperation

  • yeah except for those "desperate kicks" have landed him in being ranked in the top 10 kickboxers of his weight class in the world.

  • fuck this dumbass shit this is boring shit

  • He get's punched with the right and the left for a knock down but the referee doesn't call it.

  • If you think about it big kicks are harder to hit and harder to set up. which means it requires more skill. If points are based on skill then obviously more points should go towards bigger kicks. If K-1 doesn't acknowledge this then there will be no room for people like Yilmaz. That's why only kicks requiring little skill will be seen in K-1 which is stupid. K-1 needs to change to make room for skill. K-1 need to change for people like Yilmaz who used great skill to perform amazing kicks.

  • agree

  • agreed.. they should have kicks landed as well as power kicks like in boxing, when they have punches landed and power punches

  • wtfs the point of an amazing kick if they dont do shit? tkd has so many useless kicks taht wont work against real fighters like masato or pramuk

  • Masato? The only redeeming quality I see in him is a pretty strong sternum. Serkan was breaking him during that fight.

And tkd kicks do have a practical use. But even if I took the time to explain it to you, you would be too ignorant to accept it.

  • yilmaz's kicks were too wild, too telegraphed, masato used basic kicks to destroy yilmaz's lead leg. Yilmaz's spinning back kicks didnt hurt masato at all. they just pushed him. Yilmaz was too flashy, masato's style is superior

  • There's no way those didn't hurt Masato. Each of those wild kicks have a ton of force behind them. Did you see the velicty behind them? I still believe that Yilmaz deserved that fight.
