  • thank you for hosting the series, i hope they will not be removed

  • As usual, there was 'much more' to what happened, then what the mainstream media ever tells us...

Unfortunately, it's typical...that safety and human life always take a back seat to saving money, and staying on a 'corporate' schedule...no matter what the cost...

  • 12:23 I don't know if it an actual footage of the crowd - But it certainly looks weird for a father of the VIP victim grinning like this, as he sees the death of his child.

  • @Wykletypl he's not smiling you clown

  • @ThrasherGnar HEY, I got an impression like this! No reason you insult me, you jerk!

  • RIP Roger Boisjoly. You did the right thing.

  • @MigsDaRutt Shut The Fuck Up Americans sucks

  • Freezing conditions in Florida??

  • Fuck NASA. They murder 7 astronauts knowingly and the men behind it get promoted? I hope the money's worth it you spineless bastards

  • These people died for NOTHING! What a fucking waste of life, & taxpayer resources.

  • What a joke we are trying to get into space with rubber fucking seals 'protecting' the brave astronauts lives? the billions we have wasted on this farce should have been spent on schools and hospitals

  • "take off your engineering hat and put on your management hat" i woulda stuck my 'hat' up that pompous MFs asshole

  • did he died?

  • Great video, thanks for upload.

RIP to the crews of Challenger and Columbia.

  • I know they said if the iron slag would have stayed put for a few more seconds the crew would have made it. but and it does sound bad, if it wasnt for the failure and the sad loss of life, NASA would have got away with another list of faults. ignorance, luck and bully tactics to get the go ahead to launch doesnt cut it. the crew could have been saved if they listened to the engineers days before. no excuse not one of NASA's finer moments.

  • Its a shame that the top brass at nasa in effect killed the shuttle program. First challenger then columbia. Both PREVENTABLE ACCIDENTS!!! All they had to do was make sure everything was right in both instances, but they didn't. I love the shuttle program but now its over because of nasas ignorance

  • i wonder what NASA would be like now if the space shuttle did not explode and the teacher went into space

  • @annabatarwicz...You think shit is funny? So how about we put your kid on the shuttle and you can watch it disintegrate? Then we'll laugh at your "classic face". That sound good? Personally, I think you just said that to stir some angry responses.

  • Damm

  • Could you imagine being Roger Boisjoly? You know something is going to happen, but you hope it doesn't because lives are at stake, but you DO know it is going to happen. Damn.

  • @Andy4Cincy - he must have felt terrible. What was worse is that despite the fact that he acted ethically and professionally in time to stop the flight, he was ostracised by Morton Thiokol, and was pretty much forced to resign as a result. I've seen a couple of his Business Ethics lectures - they're very good.

  • I was a GE tech doing contractual work at Amelia Island,Fl.Morton Thiokol came there to "evade" the media, the feds, etc.,in order to prepare their report. These guys were devastated, angry, beyond reason.Totally preventable disaster. Not only that, they were scared for their lives and carried .45cal. sidearms doing their stay at the private resort I was assigned to.What a sad day for us all.I wanted to help, but could do nothing.

  • Just like the case of Iran Air 655,the people who are directly responsible for the accident were Awarded with medals and more money and those who tried to save the people who perished suffered the worst in the aftermath of the disaster

  • The United States always get what they want....Well they Got it alright.....SAll they cared about was Launching the shuttle rather than the safety....Safety Should always be Priority R.I.P.

  • @DreamFlightPro Er, since when does the USA = NASA? Get it right.

  • @Kovitlac Whatever dude like I give a rats ass about the USA....The USA is great with technology and other things but when it comes to people and people with a smart ass attitude like you, its pathetic!!!!!!

  • @DreamFlightPro Ohh, that's cute. You confuse NASA with the USA, then bitch at me for being pathetic. It's clear who the one with the messed-up attitude is, hun.

  • Whoever launched this spacecraft is insane

  • @annabatarowicz You think that's funny? FUCK yourself you miserable piece of subhuman shit. Laugh that off.. You're subhuman excrement..zero..nothing :-)

  • @annabatarowicz That's not nice you butthole, If your kid died, how would you feel? Personaly Iwould like to give tribute to all the astrounats who risked thier lives to g into space and grieve over those who died, and you laugh about it?! Your sick you know that, sick! Go die in a hole so you never show your ungrateful little face here on Youtube or anywhere else. I would throw a party if you did that. Thumbs up if you agree with me that annabatarownic is sick and insanely crazy. So there!!!!!!

  • @annabatarowicz How rude!!!

  • @annabatarowicz Get off the internet. We don't need people like you.

  • they needed flight director Gene Kranz

  • 1:02 It sure looks like George Dubya Bush survived this disaster.

  • It's amazing how 5 minutes of facts and report findings can be stretched and dramatized into a 45 minute episode.

  • @ManEatingSharks True true

  • 02:26 A Blooper!!! Space shuttles glass cockpits came in the 2000's not in the 80's So that means Challenger never flew with that technology. Space Shuttle Columbia did.

  • 2:35 Space Shuttle Challenger really made history about being one of the worst spacecraft disasters ever

  • @murakwan29 Well, Challenger and Columbia have been the only 2 with fatalities.

  • @Upgrader01 Ok then, I said that they made history because they were the only 2 with fatalities

  • well thank god you have a proffesional writter to reanalize what some stupid rocket scientist missed. I'm pretty certain that a vehical going 5x faster than a bullet would not be affected by a 100mph wind.

  • I want the American version, not the stupid British version. This show is a lot better with the American narrator.

  • @MigsDaRutt The American narrator is plain annoying. The UK version is a lot better. Same with Myth Busters.

  • Look at the section on Feynman's role on the 'Rogers commission' page on Wikipedia.

  • man i feel for those families

  • If the slag resealing the joint hadn't failed due to the high crosswind, NASA might have avoided a fatal joint failure. It was political pressure from the very top which caused them to launch in what they knew were dangerous circumstances. Reagan had demanded that launch date in order to allow a live link up with McAuliffe in orbit during a State of the Union speech intended to emphasize education and space travel for 'ordinary' people. He was at least partly to blame for their deaths.

  • @mjeshaw but he did not make the decison to launch.

  • Despite the conclusions of the Challenger inquiry, just 7 years later the Columbia was lost with all crew due to the same basic cause - managers ignoring a long standing problem for politico-economic reasons, despite the concerns of engineers. Foam strikes on the fragile heat shield tiles were as well documented as the low temperature sealing problem of the solid fuel boosters, but they kept on launching anyway - in the case of Challenger, just to link up with Reagan's State of the Union speech.

  • @mjeshaw Not 7, but 17 years later. Please, get your math right.

  • i was really cry when i saw this video.....

  • that chief engineer was a smart guy

  • @Newbpwng If I were him watching that I woulda turned around when it blew up and gone batshit crazy on the other people who gave it a go ahead.

  • @Newbpwng yea......and the people who didnt listen are proven DumbAsses

  • and a civilian died too.............smh

  • As always thanks for the upload
