My buddy and I sitting front row center were the only 2 white people in a 22,000-seat auditorium. One of the Sledge sisters handed my buddy a rose from the stage, and later Nile Rogers handed me an 8x10 B&W photograph of his band Chic, also from the stage.

The Chic Organisation what anorganisation that was, Nile, Bernard, Lucy Tony and the gang, noone can touch them for that special talent that they all had and which made Chic the great 1970s band they were. They brought real happiness to my teenaged years! Great to see this Video in Norway!

In December of 1999 I met Nile at an International House Of Pancakes in Westport, CT. He was pleasant, very down to earth and appreciated that I recognized him loved his and CHIC's music. I'll always remember that and that's why I have ALL of CHIC's albums in my iPod today!! Thanks Again Nile!!
