Mine didn't like to be held, but he was almost fully grown when I got him. He was very curious, loved to watch everything. They like to burrow alot. They are VERY fast. Mine liked to climb. When I had something in there for him to climb on he stayed above ground longer. But they have long claws that get easily hooked on things so climbing stuff has to be smooth. The claws are thin so they don't really scratch into your skin when holding them. They like to swim.
im thinking about getting one of these lizards is there anything you can tell me about them

mine does but luckly hes to small to be able to, he tries to open the screen top with his nose thinkin he can pierce it with his nose, hes a silly :)
