  • This is the first discussion I have seen on Islam, and especially 'women in Islam' that I have respected and understood according to my own research. I always felt the Quran has great teachings, however, culture has distorted those teaching in its practice. I dont think she is stressed at all. Is a university lecturer stressed about their passion for educating others? If so, they would find a new career! The disappointing part is the comments on marriage! She did this to educate, not seduce!

  • Jazakallah for taking the time to record and share this with everyone.. It helps to answer a lot of what people think about Muslim women. Mashallah she's extremely articulate and really wants to make a difference..not Impressed with the " is she married" comments looks the whole point of the lecture was missed!?and reiterates exactly the speakers concerns lol

  • my very good sister ,, i like sister's way of talking and arguing ,, Allah may bless on her,

  • May Allah bless you and your family.May Allah bless your parents and siblings if you still have one so that you can share the same faith. May I ask u something though its your personal?are u married and have kids?Asalam alaykum.

  • inshallah! i am ready for that.....she is clever and very pretty all over the above she is muslimah :)

  • whenever I see muslim women speaking publicly like this I can really feel that they are being stressed. Stressed by the nonmuslims that misunderstand them. So they feel that they have to be very careful when it comes to debunking the stereotypes people have in mind. Women are really capable of doing much better Job than men when it comes to Dawah. May Allah have mercy on her. As for men here that want to marry her, no need to put more stress on her.
