I see what u did there... It's a (near) copy of the Terran Battlecruiser from Starcraft. Even the weapons are similar (if you ignore the fact the Yamato Cannon is a focused nuclear blast shot like a cannon and not a particle cannon.)

Actually, there's a simple way to do it that involves Speedometers and low strength thrusters. I've done it to make a jet and and a helicopter, so I see no reason it can't be applied to a spaceship.
