WHO CARE about the lap time of THIS CAR ... -_-" ... there are lot of cars within the class V8 4.XXL ... which one would you pick if you can get one ...
Given a dry track, and its tyre and its drivetrain setup, it would do no more than a 1:29.8, that type of wetness, with this car, is able to take 8s off. a less wet track, a NON very wet track takes of 4s, and a damp track takes of 3s, but also, all this depends greatly on the drivetrain and tyres n power. a 4wd 340bhp TTRS will do a fster lap than a 505bhp rwd ZO6 in the wet.
its soaking wet on the track....that has to be a huge huge factor in the overall time....doesnt make sense in this instance. These kinds of cars have tires that are absolute shit in the wet....im just confuseddd
thats BS, that car got a bad time because of the freakin wet track. It would've made it at least in the middle of the board on a dry lap. Why can't they wait for dry conditions?!?
they say that on the TG test track wet conditions is a 4 second adjustment. that would make it 1:34. a standard corvette did the track in 1:26 with stiggy locking up the brakes like crazy. Jeremy said the handling of the 8C was total crap.
@vaultmantk on average wet lap times are 4-6 seconds longer than dry ones, so even if the track was dry, it wouldn't be in the middle. this car just can't handle
@vaultmantk wet lap times on the top gear track are about 4-6 secs slower than dry ones (according to top gear themselves) so it wouldn't have been in the middle of the board.
@vaultmantk Well, for cars they don't like they'll only test it on a wet track. But, mostly they only have it for a very short time and have to test it quickly.

Concordo appieno con VIRusT87. Secondo me girerebbe un bel 7 o 8 secondi meno a giro....
Saluti.

@vaultmantk well if i'm not wrong they test the cars for the power laps just before the show starts so if its raining its too bad for the lap times
