Bad reputation? If the people of the world can't have a laugh and some humor about being incredibley caught up in soccer, well then, screw them. And as I have stated, football became a professional sport only about 20yrs after soccer became a professional sport in europe. And, point in fact, we (the states) were fighting a civil war at the time so sports was not key on our mind.
