I've never understood putting two sirens on a truck. It confuses motorists and pedestrians into thinking there's more than one emergency vehicle approaching. It goes from simply clearing traffic to just plain annoying, unnecessary noise - especially at night when people are trying to sleep. And it is an unwarranted expense for the fire department.
